In the Hering holiday home in Waltersdorf there are two separate holiday apartments for 2-3 and 2-5 people respectively, which can of course also be booked entirely by two families. Parking spaces are located directly on the property. Depending on the weather, a small pool is available to guests from around mid-May to around September. (Diameter 3.5 m; depth 90 cm)
Both apartments have a bathroom with shower/WC, washbasin and mirrored cabinet, a bedroom with double bed (ground floor 1.40 x 2.0 m); 1. Bunk bed (1.80 x 2.0 m) and a sofa with sleeping function. The apartment on the upper floor additionally has a small second bedroom with a bunk bed. In the eat-in kitchen there is a dining table with chairs, sofa, television, radio, a mini kitchen with two hotplates, refrigerator, sink, kettle, coffee machine, toaster and various dishes and pots – in short – everything you need for self-catering. The rooms can be heated all year round with a central gas heating system.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is located at the entrance to Waltersdorf, a district of the spa town of Bad Schandau (distance approx. 6 km), on a plain above the Elbe River with a magnificent view of the table mountains (Lilienstein, Pfaffenstein) of Saxon Switzerland. You can enjoy this unobstructed view from the terrace directly in front of the holiday flat.
Many excursion destinations, such as the Bastei, the Königstein Fortress, the spa town of Rathen with its famous rock stage, to name but a few, can be hiked directly from your accommodation.
Of course, a visit to the state capital Dresden (distance approx. 50 km) with its cultural life is always worthwhile. The village of Waltersdorf itself has a restaurant, a playground, a small grocery shop with snacks and a farm shop. You will find more inns in Porschdorf, about 3 km away.
