Description
In our holiday home directly on the Ilz, large groups can celebrate carefree. The simply equipped cottage offers space for max. 13 people: 3 bedrooms, large eat-in kitchen, separate living room with fireplace, newly renovated bathroom. No central heating, the house is heated with wood or electricity. No mobile phone reception, no WLAN, no TV! In front of the house is a campfire site with barbecue.
The house is not suitable for small children!

The holiday home is in an absolutely secluded location in the forest directly on the wild and romantic Ilz river. Passau is 30 km away and the Bavarian Forest National Park is 20 km away
Many hiking trails lead past the house, including the award-winning Goldsteig trail and the VIA NOVA pilgrimage trail. The nearest village is Preying, approx. 2 km away. Here you will also find shopping facilities and a bistro. An inn (Hammerschmiede) is about 2 km away.
Larger purchases can be made in Tittling, approx. 6 km away.

Super location, right on the river.
We were there for the second time with friends. The best thing is that it is in a secluded location, you really don't disturb anyone. Everything you need is on site. We will definitely book again. During the day, many hikers pass right by the hut. If you are lucky, they even peel your potatoes ;-)

The vacation home is perfect for parties. There, one can be undisturbed, listen to loud music, and the surrounding area is beautiful.
There are enough beds and the stoves heat up very well. We will definitely rent the cabin again.

Great cabin to celebrate without any disturbances.
Well-maintained, large cabin in a Bavarian ambiance.
Perfect location to celebrate parties undisturbed.
Nice owner.
All necessary equipment available (oven, refrigerator, ...)
Our first choice for all kinds of celebrations, we will gladly come back!

If you want a relaxing and stress-free holiday, this is the place to be. We were six people with several dogs and really enjoyed this week. Apart from the soothing sound of the Ilz river that you can enjoy day and night, the barbecue area right outside the door is a delight for a tasty evening. The house is simply furnished but more than enough for daily use and needs. There are beautiful hiking trails in all directions in front of the house. Even if you don't plan to go hiking, the area in front of the house offers plenty of variety... whether grilling, simply chilling in the sun, or cooling off in the Ilz (beautiful access to the Ilz). Shopping options are also not far from the house by car... We would have liked to extend our stay for another week... but we will definitely come back...

Big disappointment! !!
Holiday home is a complete disaster! I don't even know where to start, it was so bad... Pictures do not correspond to the current condition. The property is overgrown and neglected, just like the house. The house is damp and smells accordingly. We had nothing but damp clothes for 10 days. Not to mention the bed. An old feather bed that I don't want to know what's crawling and flying in there. The house was dirty, completely worn out, and needed a full renovation. The furnishings were in the same condition.
The floor throughout the house was destroyed by burn marks. TV available, but unfortunately no reception.
Apart from the location and the truly great landscape, these were the worst 10 days we have ever had in a holiday home. For €70 per night, one can expect more.

Lovely short vacation
We were looking for a secluded accommodation for celebrating and letting the kids run around, and found it with this holiday home.
The landlady described the holiday home as "simple but functional," and that's exactly how we found it.
It is located right on the Ilz, with even a small beach available for swimming in the Ilz.
Hiking trails pass right by the house.
We will definitely book the house again for a short celebration getaway!
