Nestled in the picturesque village of Haus im Wald, a district of Grafenau, this charming holiday home offers approximately 80 m² (860 sq ft) of living space. Perched on a hillside directly above the romantic Ilz Valley, the house enjoys sunshine throughout the day and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the gently rolling landscape of the southern Bavarian Forest.
The log cabin features around 80 m² of living space and is surrounded by a private garden of approximately 400 m². It offers a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living and dining area, one bathroom, and two bedrooms accommodating up to four guests. The entire front of the house faces south, allowing you to follow the sun from morning until evening on the wrap-around terrace and enjoy spectacular sunsets.
A parking area is located approximately 150 metres from the house. Guests may drive close to the property for loading and unloading luggage.

Hiking vacation
We enjoyed our stay in the holiday home very much. We particularly liked the great view and the very quiet location of the house. The equipment and cleanliness of the house left nothing to be desired. Shopping, the bakery, and the restaurant were easily reachable on foot. Communication with the landlord via email was friendly, informative, and totally hassle-free. We hardly used the offers of the National Park Card.

Vacation with Grandchildren
The property has a beautiful location with a panoramic view when the weather allows it.
We were somewhat surprised by the distance to Grafenau. Even Google Maps was sometimes confused. All in all, it was a nice vacation.
