Recreation in nature

Very nice stay, the cottage is small but nice. Literally grandma's little house. Older everything, but everything you need and designed with taste. Hosts very sweet. The beekeeper tour was very interesting. And the honey delicious. If you are looking for relaxation and peace, this is the right place. Would come back.

Sehr schönes liebevoll eingerichtet Häuschen

We used and enjoyed the offered use of the garden folly every day. Helmut willingly and patiently explained beekeeping to us with enthusiasm. It was very interesting. We also received great excursion tips.

Short holiday with grandchildren.

After a warm welcome, we entered the spotlessly clean Bavarian, rustic, cozy cottage. Our two grandchildren, like the two of us, were immediately enthusiastic about all the rooms and things. Nothing was missing, so despite the cold and wet April weather and the resulting limited excursion possibilities, there was no boredom at all.

The time together is unforgettable for everyone. We can only highly recommend the warm landlords, the cottage, the opportunities, and the beauty of the landscape.

Place of well-being

It was a very relaxing vacation in a beautiful area with charming hosts. The house is cute, clean, well-equipped, and I felt very well taken care of and comfortable. You can rely on the numerous hiking and excursion tips from the host. Supported by numerous hiking and cycling routes marked with signs, you can engage in athletic activities according to your preference. Or else simply lying lazily in the garden, enjoying nature, the beautiful garden (the result of Mrs. Kellhammer's tireless tinkering, creating, and doing) and the bee paradise. Thank you for everything and see you soon. The next vacation is already booked, and I am looking forward to another nice chat with Mrs. and Mr. Kellhammer.

Totale Erholung

It is truly as described in the previous reviews. If someone wants to completely relax, this is the right place. Even if sightseeing tours are desired, so much is possible, with your vehicle of course. The small cottage really provides everything necessary and there are so many details to discover. The two wood stoves are new and of high quality. We only tried the one in the upstairs and had to turn it off after a short heating time because otherwise it would have become too hot (it was mid-September). The bathroom (electric fan heater) is also delightfully warm in no time!
My wife and I were warmly welcomed and would like to thank Kellhammer Company once again. The honey and the mirabelle plum jam taste excellent - Thank you :-)

Feel-good holiday for the family

We felt very comfortable with the Kellhammer family. We were impressed by the beautifully landscaped garden. There are many leisure activities in the area for the whole family. Our hosts helped us with their advice and gave us many excursion tips. We would especially like to mention the natural outdoor swimming pool in Jandeslbrunn. After a long day trip, it was a welcome refreshment ;)
The homemade honey tastes very delicious. Just for that alone, the trip would be worth it;)
And there is still so much that we haven't seen on-site. . .

Vacation like at home

The apartment is very nicely furnished, everything you need is there. Everything very clean! We felt very comfortable as a family of four (2 adults, 2 children). The huge garden could be used, great. The landlord couple was very nice and helpful. We would love to come back.

Beautiful, clean, and well-furnished holiday home. Cozy warmth with the wood stove. Garden truly inviting for relaxation and admiring with lots of vintage decorations. The landlords are friendly and helpful, without being intrusive. They also gladly provided tips for excursions during conversations. Lovely welcome plate upon arrival.

Grandma's little house in the best sense

Very warm hosts. Helmut Kellhammer explained his beekeeping, which he looks after with enthusiasm. The bees do not sting. Great breakfast in the pavilion of the well-maintained large garden, also a cozy place to relax in the evening. Complete equipment in the cozy apartment, which reminds us of our youth. Some minimum mobility is required for the stairs. We had wonderful tours with our e-bikes. One evening, we got stuck in the rain, and Helmut Kellhammer picked us up with his car from 20 km away.

Erholsame Tage

Beautiful holiday

We immediately felt very comfortable in the cottage, it is cosy and has everything you need.
We received a very warm welcome from Hildegart and Helmut, at first we were cottage tenants, but soon we felt like their personal guests! Wollaberg is a small village, wonderfully situated on a hill, and shops and destinations are only a few minutes away.
We really enjoyed Helmut's beekeeping tour, and the Wollaberg bee honey tastes wonderful!
Thank you very much, Helmut and Hildegart for your friendship!

Grandma's little house

We were very positively surprised when we arrived. Each room is lovingly and meticulously furnished. Nothing was missing. The new bathroom is a dream, the whole house is very well maintained and very clean. As for the landlords, we can only say one thing! Such lovely people, warm and friendly, are rare to find! Anyone who has seen and experienced it firsthand will find nothing negative. We felt transported back in time to our time with our grandparents as children. cosy and lovingly detailed

This little holiday home is a gem- very lovingly and stylishly furnished, the landlords have also thought of details, very clean. We got along with the landlords as if we had known them for a long time. We could also have very good conversations with them, even though we are from northern Germany. However, they were in no way intrusive. They have very good local knowledge and you could get valuable tips from them regarding leisure activities. The little house is located in a beautiful small village on a mountain, from where you can easily reach many attractions by car.

Cozy, charming cottage with top-of-the-line amenities.

We were able to spend a weekend in this charming cottage and can only recommend it. The house is perfectly equipped, very tastefully furnished, and very clean. The owners are very friendly and accommodating.
We were not lucky with the weather, but thanks to this beautiful accommodation, we were still able to enjoy the time.
We will definitely come back.

Relaxed vacation in a friendly, calm environment.

We spent a wonderful short break in this cozy, little cottage. Despite the current storm damage, the surroundings are truly beautiful, and the place itself offers a tranquility that city dwellers simply no longer know. The cottage provides everything one can expect in a holiday home. You can spend cozy evenings in the homely kitchen with a large tiled stove. The kitchen equipment is more than sufficient to be able to quickly cook something to eat in between. The existing living room was only used by us as a second bedroom. The two owners were unfailingly friendly and attentive. We received some information about the everyday life of a beekeeper and were also able to taste the delicious honey. One should keep in mind, however, that having a means of transportation is essential, as even the nearest (small) supermarket is several kilometers away. There are plenty of nearby attractions (within a 30-minute drive). All in all, we enjoyed our short vacation and will keep this accommodation in mind for future holidays.

Authentisch

The accommodation is suitable for anyone who wants to be cozy and retreat a bit for relaxation. Sharing the garden adds extra relaxation. To reach the destination and for shopping, a car is necessary, but the living room lacks no kitchen utensils. We were warmly welcomed by the hosts and provided with valuable tips. Unfortunately, our stay was too short, which is why we hope to be able to come back soon and catch up on the pending beekeeping tour.

Beautiful, pure nature in a charming village.

We have experienced wonderful days in this romantic holiday home with a large garden. The owner is attentive, welcoming, and friendly. He told us a lot about his beloved bees. And the honey is delicious! Hiking is of course wonderful, but the museum village in Titlingen is particularly beautiful, and of course, Passau should not be forgotten!

Cozy, relaxing, spacious

Spacious holiday home with use of large garden.

In the stylish and lovingly furnished interior, one quickly finds peace among whitewashed walls and wooden furniture. The equipment is also of very good quality and there is truly nothing missing.
We slept excellently in the also generously sized bedroom, thanks to the incredible quietness and the exceptionally good bed. There is even a living room with an extra wood-burning fireplace on the upper floor. The striking pilgrimage church above the village is spectacular, visible from afar and reached via a beautiful long stone staircase.

When we were surprised by a cold spell with three days of snow at Easter at Sammahof, the spacious living kitchen with a cozy warm tile stove was the best thing that could happen to us in that situation.

The landlord is a beekeeper. We now know more about bees, and the honey is a very nice vacation memory. The garden is very beautifully designed with a farm garden, wildflower meadow, playground equipment, and bee house.
We were impressed by the unobtrusive, courteous, and helpful nature of the hosts and, thanks to their helpful tips, we quickly found our way around and discovered beautiful places in the area.
We also recommend excursions to Passau, the National Park, and the Glass Road.

Peace and relaxation.

Sought and found peace and relaxation. The cottage conveys coziness and well-being through its quaint charm. It has everything you need. The wood stoves provide a comforting warmth. On the recommendation of the very nice landlords, we watched the fireworks from the highest point of the village (church). It was beautiful. It was wonderful days. We will come back.

Cozy couple's weekend

The cottage is very cozy and equipped with everything you need, even with a shopping net! The stoves provide a nice warmth.
The couple Kellhammer is very helpful, open, and interested, without being intrusive.
The trip to the Dreisessel in the snow and to Passau was very nice.
The organic baker in Jandelsbrunn really makes very good bread, rolls, and pastries.

Wunderschön, gemütlich und liebevoll

It was the first vacation with my 10-month-old son. We enjoyed it so much. A dreamy cottage in a great location. Lots of nature, great excursions. We were often in Waldkirchen, drove to Krumau, and visited the treetop walkway. The landlords are very, very kind and friendly people. They were always there to help when needed.

We would love to come back next time in good weather so that my son can enjoy the great garden.

Relaxed vacation

Wonderful silence, especially at night. The cottage is cozy, but has a somewhat steep staircase leading upstairs. Friendly reception by the landlords. Lots of nature, wonderful landscape.

Ein "Retro"-Urlaub

Well-maintained old cottage with everything one needs nowadays:
Cool in the summer (it was very hot), clever warm air heating system from the tiled stove + fireplace in the living room for cold weather, huge fruit and flower garden incl. garden house with shady seating area. Especially in the house an incredible collection of memorabilia and the like, we felt transported back to our youth despite all the comfort (now over 80). The location is quiet, village without through traffic, endless cycling and hiking opportunities, also plenty to offer for those interested in culture. Mrs. and Mr. Kellhammer always friendly and very helpful. We felt extremely comfortable. And one more special thing: In the valley, in Jandelsbrunn, there is a very special baker, a dedicated organic baker with connections to Asia, who makes such especially good things that it motivated morning exercise: Almost daily cycling down, buying rolls, bread, etc., and pedaling back up - while cycling! After all, it's over 100 m in altitude difference.

Erholung pur

We spent eleven very relaxed days in this cozy house in the mountains. Due to its proximity to Passau, Austria, and the Czech Republic, there are numerous opportunities for cultural activities. Furthermore, the immediate surroundings are perfect for walks and hikes. Due to the season, we were lucky to experience it with a lot of snow.

The little house really leaves nothing to be desired. It is lovingly furnished, provides everything necessary, and is spotless. The two stoves promise a special charm.

Particularly noteworthy are the incredibly hospitable landlords who were available at all times with advice and assistance without being intrusive. Thank you again for that! A must-do is tasting the homemade organic honey. We will definitely come back!

Urgemütliches Ferienhaus

We stayed in this super cozy holiday home with our 2 children. Very nice landlords!! We all loved the large garden. The surrounding area is perfect for beautiful hikes or bike rides. The recreational program in the Bavarian Forest is unparalleled.
