Location and surroundings of object
Schoorl, Groet and Camperduin are stored as a strip on the edge of Schoorl Dunes Nationaal Park, the sprawling dune area of Schoorl is one of the most beautiful in the Netherlands.
Nowhere the dunes are wider and higher. The dunes have a surface area of 1800 hectares. The area is characterized by various bushes, a lot of small rivers, bicycle paths and sidewalks for kilometers.
Forest and dunes
For lovers of forest walks or biking, this area offers many options.
To the sports cyclists there is a mountain bike trail of 16 km in the dunes between Bergen and Schoorl.
Sea and beach:
Get on your bike and you are in 10 minutes on the beach. Or a half hour walk to the sea. Beach accesses you will find in Groet Camperduin, Hargen aan Zee and Schoorl.
On Walking the village Groet is a supermarket, bicycle hire, bakery, butcher and restaurants with cozy terraces.
Groet is part of Schoorl and is a member of the Mondaine seaside resort and artists' village of Bergen.

Green Rest Idyl

"Beautiful bungalow."
The bungalow Catrijp is located in a beautiful large garden and is perfectly equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. We especially liked the quiet location and the wide view over the adjacent fields, as well as the immediate proximity to the Schoorl dunes. Within walking distance there are shopping facilities and restaurants, and in a few minutes by car you can reach the magnificent beaches. The landlords are very nice and we were warmly welcomed. Booking and handling were quick and uncomplicated. We will gladly come back.

Een beetje teleurstellend
The cottage has a beautiful location in relation to the beach, dunes, and restaurants, but internally it is a bit of a disappointment. The cottage was clean, but a musty smell remains in the clothing closets; advice is to bring scented sachets. Beds are fine, advice is to bring your own pillows as the previous occupant(s) scent lingers strongly in them. Curtains in the bedroom provide little privacy, perhaps they have shrunk as you can see under them and they let all the light through. The TV still has a cathode-ray tube (not a flat screen) and regularly has interference/buzzing. In front of the house, there is a spacious terrace which is, however, almost half overgrown by hydrangeas. The 80-meter path to the cottage is very narrow with some sinkholes and overhanging branches.

Tijdens de vakantie heeft u bij ons herhaaldelijk aangegeven dat alles naar wens was en dat u genoot van een fijne vakantie. U heeft ons zelfs gevraagd of uw zoon met zijn vriendin mocht langskomen. Dat was voor ons geen probleem.
Na uw vertrek uit de vakantiebungalow Catrijp hebben wij schade geconstateerd.
Nadat wij deze schade/vernielingen aan u hadden gemeld veranderde uw houding en werd deze review geplaatst.
