Are you travelling with 16 people or fewer? Then you are also welcome at Huize Carpe Diem. After your non-binding inquiry, we can always provide you with a suitable offer. The following options are available:
Depending on the number of guests, several bedrooms and/or the living room may be closed off. You will still have full access to the cosy 90 m² lounge area. All other facilities such as the kitchen and bathrooms remain fully available for your use.
We rent out Huize Carpe Diem on a self-catering basis. In our opinion, it is the most characteristic group accommodation by the sea in Schoorl — and perhaps even in all of North Holland. Huize Carpe Diem is a spacious and cosy group accommodation with 11 bedrooms, making it the ideal place for a family weekend, for example.

Huize Carpe Diem is the group accommodation in Schoorl and the surrounding area for up to 22 people with 11 bedrooms.
Our group house is completely free of bunk beds and has no dormitories at all. There are 11 bedrooms, each equipped with two single box-spring beds (80 × 200 cm). A good night’s sleep is guaranteed.
Fantastic location near the Schoorl Dunes and the North Sea
Huize Carpe Diem is located just 150 metres from the Schoorl Dunes, where you can enjoy beautiful walks.
The North Sea is only 2 kilometres away. By bicycle, you can reach Camperduin or Hargen aan Zee within 10 minutes.
Located on a farmyard surrounded by meadows with sheep
Our group accommodation is situated on a spacious property of nearly one hectare. The beaches of Camperduin and Hargen aan Zee are just a 10-minute bike ride away, while the Schoorl Dunes nature area is only 150 metres from the property.
If you are looking for centrally located group accommodation by the sea in North Holland, Huize Carpe Diem is the perfect base. The towns of Alkmaar, Schagen and Bergen can all be reached within 20 minutes by car.
Stylish, cosy and suitable only for respectful groups
Huize Carpe Diem is very completely and warmly furnished and is therefore only suitable for groups who feel connected to our beautiful surroundings. For example, you will find real paintings in the living areas and comfortable furniture throughout the accommodation.
We are therefore looking for groups who wish to enjoy a pleasant stay in harmony with the environment.
Very noisy groups, parties, loud music outside the accommodation, or gatherings with many day visitors (more than 22 people in total) do not fit the idyllic atmosphere of our property, the village of Groet and the beautiful yet vulnerable Schoorl Dunes.
Huize Carpe Diem is intended for pleasant and cosy gatherings, but it is not a cheap alternative to a hospitality venue or party location.
Although the property is extremely spacious, please note that you share the grounds with our storage facilities and the holiday homes Klaas, Jesper and the 8-person bungalow.
For this reason, we only welcome groups that do not cause nuisance.
In addition to the shared garden area, each holiday home also has its own private garden section with garden furniture.
You can, however, enjoy a wonderful and cosy stay in spacious accommodation on a large property.

Outside, you have access to a very large garden with several terraces. Huize Carpe Diem also has parking facilities for more than 10 cars.
