Description
The free-standing tower in the historic castle from the 10th century is located on a hill 600 meters above sea level. From here you have a wonderful panoramic view to the surrounding Tuscan countryside.
Pets are not allowed.
The exclusive property offers complete privacy. It is surrounded by a cypress grove, has a landscaped garden with fruit trees. A private swimming pool with great outlooks is for the exclusive use of guests.
Interior
This peaceful property offers on three levels with 120 m² living area space for 5 to 6 people in 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. All bedrooms are fitted with mosquito windows and air conditioning.
The historic building is decorated in true detail without abstaining from modern comforts such as CD / DVD player, WIFI, satellite TV, air conditioning, etc.
The ground floor has a cozy dining area, an open living room with fireplace (also suitable for grilling), the kitchen, a bathroom with shower. A laundry room with washer has an access to the terrace and access to the interior of the castle complex.
The 1st floor consists of a spacious, bright open plan lounge with a large table, TV and fireplace. Here there is a double sofa bed, which can be used as a "shakedown" for 2 more people. From this floor there is as well a direct access to the castle interior and to another terrace.
The actual sleeping area is located on the 2nd floor with a double room, a twin room and a single room, in which an extra bed can be placed. There is also a bathroom with tub.
Outdoor
From the 300 m² large, fenced garden with lawns, cypresses and fruit trees you have a wonderful view to the Chianti hills.
On the private parking area is enough space for 5 vehicles.
The private pool area (5x10 m; depth: m) with its elegant relaxation area is equipped with comfortable lounge chairs. Right next door is a shady gazebo with table and chairs.
On the terrace in front of the house, guests can enjoy their meals outdoors under a large umbrella.

Location and surroundings of object
The medieval castle is just a few kilometers from Gaiole in Chianti and Siena. On a clear day you look at the Monte Amiata and the towers of Siena.
The place is an ideal base for day trips to the famous Tuscan cultural cities such as Florence, Siena and Arezzo.
The beautiful scenery around is ideal for many activities: horseback rides, cycling, hiking or a visit to the nearby thermal baths in Rapolano. The nearest village with various shops, a bar and a restaurant is just 500 meters away and can easily be reached on foot. In the surrounding area there are many sporting activities. Horse riding, golf (9 holes) and tennis are just a few of the possibilities.
The entrance to the property is paved and easily passable by any type of vehicle.

Wonderful
Wonderful view with a very nice pool, we really enjoyed the sunsets with a good wine. Good excursion options and back to rest after the "hustle and bustle". Very caring landlord, lovely and attentive. Good restaurants nearby.
