Il GIRASOLE-CASINI
Near the small town of Casetta, just 15 km south-east of Siena, lies this charming cottage surrounded by the typical Sienese hills landscape.
This former warehouse and part of an agricultural estate has been lovingly restored and converted into a lovely holiday villa, which has now been completed in May 2011!
The house consists of two floors - is, however, to commit each single storey!
The upper level is accessed via a patio area with gazebo and offers on the pool and offer a fantastic view of the surrounding area! Even the entrance area below has a seating area with chairs and umbrella.
The upper level has living room, dining area with kitchenette, two bedrooms with double beds and a shower.
The lower level via a spiral staircase, consists of a large room with kitchenette, dining area, king-size bed and a shower
The equipment of the house has all the comforts: air-conditioning, satellite TV, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine, central heating and fireplace.
Its location is ideal for many things: In a few minutes you can reach the motorway Siena-Bettolle and drive as quickly to Arezzo, Cortona, Lake Trasimeno or to Siena. In the north you are in 10 minutes in Chianti. In the south, the Val d'Orcia with Montalcino, Pienza and Montepulciano!
The house is completely fenced and dogs are welcome. Parking in the fenced grounds are present.

Location and surroundings of object
Two kilometers from the village and about 15 km southeast of Casetta Siena, located in free Natut the former agricultural property, which was renovated in recent years and, inter alia, this villa was built.
In building complex behind the villa are more apartments,
but which are completely demarcated and do not affect the front lot.
The access road ends at the land! Casetta is a small hamlet on the connecting road Siena-Bettolle and belongs to the commune of Castelnuovo Berardenga.
Here begins the typical landscape of the "Crete Senesi", which extends south of the Orcia Valley!

Pure relaxation and tranquillity away from city life
Discouraged by the first review of Villa Il Girasole-Casini, we were already very excited upon arrival. We arrived much later than expected, but the landlord was waiting for us and gave us a very friendly and warm welcome. Of course, no one can expect to speak German everywhere, but he spoke some English and we got along great. A really very friendly family, as we also met his wife when we left. By the way, the wine from his winery Isodi is also a very good drop. The house was very clean, without defects, fully functional, extensively equipped and of good quality. As frequent renters of holiday homes, we rate this as one of the top houses in terms of condition, cleanliness and quality. We didn't lack anything we needed for daily life and the landlord checked several times during our stay to make sure everything was in order. Our high expectations of total peace and relaxation were completely fulfilled in this location and you almost feel like Robinson Crusoe. The handover on departure was also smooth and everything was settled very fairly. Of course, everyone is responsible for their own electricity and gas consumption, just like at home. It was simply a perfect complete package including pure sunshine.
P.S. Actually, we didn't want to write a review so that it would remain an insider tip for connoisseurs!

Ihre Ausführungen sind sicherlich für weitere Interessenten ein dezenter Hinweis, dass gerade auch im Urlaub in Italien ein sorgsamer Umgang mit Strom, Warmwasser und vor Allem mit der Klima-Anlage sinnvoll ist, um bei Abreise keine unliebsamen Überraschungen zu erleben.

House and location are great
Unfortunately, the takeover as well as the settlement at
The lady, who is obviously the owner, spoke neither German nor English (and unfortunately we did not speak Italian). (And we unfortunately did not speak Italian). There was no receipt for the paid deposit and the price for the electricity bill was outrageous. 113.-Euro for making coffee, LiCht and 3 short programmes of the washing machine. That is our consumption for 2 months at home, and I cook and bake every day... It's a pity that our holiday experience ended up being rather dull. The agency Schuler, promised to take care of it, but we never heard from them again.

Ich bedaure es außerordentlich,und kann es durchaus nachvollziehen, dass durch die extrem hohe und außergewöhnliche Stromkosten-Rechnung der Urlaub der Familie Kockott getrübt wurde! Selbstverständlich habe ich diese beim Besitzer reklamiert, da ich bislang keinerlei Hinweise meiner bisherigen Kunden in dieser Hinsicht erhielt. Sowohl vor dem Aufenthalt der Familie Kockott als auch die anschließenden Mieter dieses Hauses, hatten eine Stromrechnung jeweils zwischen € 25,-- und 30,-- Euro/Woche. Die Abrechnung erfolgt nach Verbrauch über einen Zähler! Ich habe bewußt die Abrechnungen der nachfolgenden Mieter abgewartet, um nochmals einen konkreten Hinweis in dieser Angelegenheit zu erhalten. Vorher konnte ich nicht reagieren, zumal ich bis letze Woche selber längere Zeit in der Toskana unterwegs war.
