Description
Freshly renovated, south-facing, located on the ground floor and lovingly furnished, plus a large garden and terrace - that's our Tertius!
There is room for 2 - 4 people, large or small. The living room includes the well-equipped kitchenette, the bedroom has an extra-long bed 180 x 220 cm, a second bedroom can be booked in addition - outside of Tertius, but right next to it, the daylight shower bathroom was completely redone in 2019
You are welcome to bring your dog (up to medium size) by arrangement
We are also happy to provide you with a cot and a high chair free of charge
Bedroom 1: Double bed OVERLENGTH (180 x 220), wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables
The 2nd bedroom ("Helgoland") can be booked optionally, it is not inside - but directly next to - the flat and is equipped with 2 single beds. One of these single beds can be extended to a full-size double bed (160 x 200). Just like our flats, Helgoland is very cosily furnished in country style with wardrobe and chests of drawers, it also has a 32" TV and is equipped with a washbasin. One-time fee for cleaning the room 30 €.
The flat has laminate and vinyl flooring.

Shower room: wall-mounted WC, washstand with drawer cabinet, hairdryer, toilet paper

Location and surroundings of object
By car you can reach Büsum harbour in five minutes, on foot you can walk along the water's edge in about 30 minutes and over the inland dike in about 20 minutes. Wonderful walks, whether at low tide or high tide. Especially in the evening, at sunset.
Deichhausen is about 2 km from Büsum and Büsum is about 24 km from Heide (the district town of Dithmarschen). Grocery shops and discounters can be reached by car in two minutes
There is much to see: St. Peter-Ording, Husum, Tönning, Wattforum, Westerhever lighthouse, Friedrichstadt, Albersdorf with Stone Age Park and lots of water or mudflats and therefore lots to discover
But you can also go to Sylt - by train and/or car. Or take a trip to the Baltic Sea. The quiet Büsumer Deichhausen is only 2 km southwest of Büsum with its lively harbour, museum harbour worth seeing, upmarket pedestrian zone (Alleestraße) and a wide variety of shopping and strolling possibilities. If you want to eat out, you really are spoilt for choice here. Excellent restaurants for all tastes can be discovered while strolling through Büsum and for in-between: simply a fish roll with Büsum prawns or .............
Our Deichhausen green beach is only 300 m away, very well-maintained and beautiful and invites you to take a walk, relax and do sports. The dog beach is of equal value and just as close.
Especially recommended in Deichhausen is the Schäferei Rolfs with its delicious cakes, good coffee, fancy home accessories in a beautiful country house atmosphere. For children: pony rides and indoor playground. You can reach the shepherd's hut on foot in two minutes.

| Optionally, you can book another very nice bedroom - Helgoland - with 2-3 beds: one bed can be extended from a full-size single bed (80 x 200) to a full-size double bed (160 x 200) and there is another single bed. Helgoland is equipped with a TV and washbasin and is located on the ground floor outside the Tertius flat but right next to it. We offer Helgoland for 35,00 € in the 1st night and 15,00 € from the 2nd night. For Helgoland a bed linen/towel package can be booked for 15 €/person. A one-time service fee of 15 € is charged per dog. |
Cancellation terms:
Free cancellation possible up to 30 days before the arrival date.
For every cancellation by the tenant of the rental agreement and non-use of the rental property, we charge 40 euros. In addition, the landlord is entitled to 80% of the rental amount if it is not possible to rent the property for the same period and at the same rental price.

From dog owner to dog owner: Dogs are not allowed in the bed or on the poster furniture!
Please note that the flat is equipped with extra-long bed and corresponding bedding. You will need a fitted sheet 180 x 220 and duvet covers in size 155 x 220.
A comprehensive bed linen/towel package, consisting of bed and pillow covers in extra length (155 x 220) as well as a fitted sheet (180 x 220), 2 towels 50 x 100, a shower towel 70 x 140 as well as a guest towel 30 x 50, can be booked optionally for 15,00 €/person.
Washing machine, dryer and detergent are available free of charge.
AGB
1. With the booking, which can be made by telephone, in writing or by e-mail, the tenant accepts the rental offer and the GTC.
2. After receipt of the rental contract/booking confirmation, the tenant must pay a 25% deposit of the total rental price. The remaining amount must be paid into the account specified by the landlord 14 days before the tenant's arrival.
3. In case of non-occupancy of the rental object (cancellation), the landlord is entitled to 80% of the rental amount - irrespective of the period of cancellation - if it is not possible to rent out the rental object for the same period and rental price. Above this amount we charge 40,-€ , regardless of a new letting
4. The lessor shall be released from the obligation to perform as well as from the compensation for damages if his performance becomes impossible due to a circumstance for which he is not responsible, e.g. legal requirements, pandemics or water/fire damage. If the rental object cannot be made available for other reasons, the landlord has the right to provide an equivalent rental object.
5. On the day of arrival, the flat is available to you from clock, on the day of departure until clock.
6. On taking possession of the rented property, any defects or damage must be reported immediately. The landlord is obliged to remedy the defects immediately in urgent cases or if the rented property is impaired. Any necessary repairs resulting therefrom shall be accepted by the tenant. In urgent cases, the landlord or his representatives shall be permitted to enter the rented property
7. No liability is accepted for items brought by the tenant
8. The rented property may only be occupied by the number of persons stated in the rental contract (children count as a full person). Pets may only be brought along with prior permission (the landlord may charge a fee for this)
9. The tenant must treat the rented property with care and undertakes to compensate for all damage caused by him and his flatmates and to report this to the agency
10. On departure, the rented property must be left swept clean. The dishes must be washed and the household waste disposed of. Pet hair must be removed and own food must be taken back. If these requirements are not met, the landlord reserves the right to assert additional claims.
11. The spa tax is to be paid by the tenant according to the local spa tax statutes.

Perfect for holiday in Deichhausen with 2 people and a dog! 5 stars!
The vacation rental Tertius in the Küstenkate house is excellent for a holiday for 2 people with a dog: The full equipment is successful and practical all around. Many maritime details give the apartment the right coastal ambiance.
The location in Deichhausen is central. In a few minutes, you are directly on the beach near the beach chair area. The apartment is very well maintained, the contact with the landlords is nice, incredibly fast, and solution-oriented. The price/performance ratio is absolutely fair and reasonable. For us, the garden was decisive: a large table is under a canopy, the small garden is fully enclosed and truly enchanting. You live here in absolute peace, no noise from the neighboring apartments. Only the garbage truck of the waste collection can be heard, next to the hoots of the ships. We like the location in Deichhausen: nothing is crowded, everything is leisurely. Büsum with the supermarkets can be quickly reached via a country road, as well as the harbor in Büsum. We recommend the holiday in Küstenkate.

Top accommodation and very nice landlords. Everything available in the vacation rental. The water, when there, is not far. This vacation rental can only be recommended. Thank you. Recommended destinations are Büsum, Husum, Friedrichstadt with a canal tour, and Friedrichskoog with its seal station. We really enjoyed it. Greetings from Görlitz.

Sehr schöne Wohnung
We really liked the apartment. Nothing was missing. The kitchen was fully equipped from top to bottom. Since we arrived with 2 dogs, the completely fenced and escape-proof garden was optimal. The apartment is highly recommended without any reservations.

Kalte Wohnung
Heating was off, apartment was very cold in the evening. Called the landlord, but nothing was done. Heating technician stated that they couldn't do much because it was the weekend.

wir müssen Ihre falsche Aussage richtigstellen: Sie riefen gestern Abend um 20.41 Uhr an, um uns mitzuteilen, dass es in der Wohnung sehr kalt sei und die Heizkörper nur lauwarm sind. Unser Heizungstechniker war auch gestern Abend noch vor Ort, konnte jedoch keinerlei Störung an der Heizungsanlage feststellen. Allerdings wurde gerade das Warmwasser aufgeheizt und dies hat Vorrangschaltung. Der Techniker stellte die Warmwasseraufheizung ab und sofort sprang die Heizung auf Vollbetrieb. Er klopfte auch bei Ihnen an die Türe, doch Sie haben ihm nicht geöffnet. Darüber haben wir bereits heute morgen zweimal telefoniert. Daher erstaunt uns Ihre falsche Aussage. Nachdem Sie uns heute morgen mitteilten, dass Sie einen Tag früher abreisen wollen, haben wir sofort angeboten Ihnen diese Kosten zu erstatten. Dann riefen Sie nochmals an, um uns mitzuteilen, dass Sie doch bis morgen bleiben um dann ein paar Minuten später diese "Bewertung" abzugeben. Bemerkenswert!
Selbstverständlich ist das Temparaturempfinden ein sehr individuelles und persönliches. Allerdings liegen auch für jeden Gast Wolldecken in den Wohnungen.
Wir bedauern sehr, dass Sie so unzufrieden mit unseren Einstellungen an der Heizungsanlage sind, dass Sie sich bemüßigt fühlen, dies als "Bewertung" abzugeben und auch, dass Sie sich in unserer schönen Wohnung nicht wohl fühlen.
Im Übrigen: kein anderer Gast hat uns diesbezüglich kontaktiert.
