Description

The holiday flat is completely renovated and equipped with new high-quality furniture and a modern fitted kitchen

From the south-facing balcony, the flat offers a fantastic view over the Olympic marina to the Baltic Sea and across the Kiel Fjord to Laboe

The flat has 2 bedrooms. One bedroom is equipped with a box spring bed (1.80 m x 2.00 m). The 2nd bedroom has a loft bed and a separate bed (80 cm wide), which can also be used as a sofa. There is also a desk and a bookshelf with literature worth reading. The living area is equipped with a sofa, the fitted kitchen and a dining table with 3 chairs. A flat-screen TV, a DVD player, wireless headphones and a radio/CD player as well as free WLAN are also available. The shower room has natural light. In the hallway there is a large built-in wardrobe and a coat rack with shoe cupboard. On the balcony there is a table with 3 chairs. An awning provides shade. The flat can be reached barrier-free by a modern lift. A parking space is available.

Location and surroundings of object

The flat is located in the northernmost district of Kiel. Schilksee is located directly on the Kiel Fjord. The Olympic Centre was built for the 1972 Olympics. Many national and international sailing regattas take place here every year, especially for the Kieler Woche. The SAND BEACH of Schilksee, which is free of tourist tax, is about 150 m away. Beach chairs can be rented there. In the row of shops of the Olympiazentrum there is a small SUPERMARKET, a PIZZERIA, an ICE DISH, a CAFÉ as well as several clothing shops. A restaurant serving upscale Schleswig-Holstein and Spanish cuisine with a terrace overlooking the sea is located directly below the row of shops

A SEA WATER SWIMMING POOL is also located in the immediate vicinity of the flat.

Nearby are pharmacies, an optician, several hairdressers and a Sky supermarket, which is also open on Sundays

The beautiful sandy beach of the neighbouring municipality of STRANDE with several restaurants and "fish stalls" on the beach can be reached via the beach promenade in about 15 minutes

The beautifully situated and challenging GOLFCLUB UHLENHORST with 27 holes is about 3 km away.

Simply top

We (my adult daughter, teenage son, and I) can recommend this 100%. Everything was equipped like at home, we lacked nothing. Sea view from our balcony. A small shop, café, ice cream shop, playground, and restaurants just around the corner. Great beach and marina. Everything as one imagines a vacation. We were so thrilled that we would like to come back next year. The communication also went smoothly via email contact. From us, 5 stars.

Recommendation

It is a comfortably furnished apartment, matching the description and photos on the internet. The kitchen is well equipped, and the beds are comfortable. The beach is quickly accessible. Nearby, there is a small supermarket, café, ice cream parlor, and two restaurants. Otherwise, it is in a quiet location. The bus stop is right in front of the house, so you can get around without a car. Pleasant contact with the landlords, quick response.

Recreational holiday

Simply great

Very beautiful, bright apartment in a prime location. Great view! Nothing was missing. We were very happy about a bottle of wine, a bottle of water, and the Danish pastry. The bus stop right outside the front door was very convenient. A successful vacation! Check-in and check-out were smooth. Everything was top organized! We will definitely come back!!

Everything is great! Nothing to complain about!

Very nice contact with the landlord! We felt very comfortable in the apartment! Nicely modern furnished, clean, everything you need is there. Interesting to watch the many sailing ships from the balcony. Beautiful beach without a fee. Good location for excursions in the area. Time passed too quickly. RECOMMENDED!

SUPER!!!

We were guests in this apartment in July and what can I say... Enthusiasm on all levels. The apartment is fully equipped, even in the children's room, everything is thought of. Cozy and clean, you immediately feel at home. In addition, there were small attentions as a welcome. The location... it couldn't be better. The beach, harbor, Italian restaurant, ice cream café... all on site. And with bus and ferry right outside the door... We left with heavy hearts and will definitely recommend the apartment. Stylish apartment near Olympic Center

For the umpteenth time, we were guests in this beautiful apartment in Schilksee (perfect location for sailors). The apartment is not huge, but completely sufficient for a family of 4. We particularly liked the partial view of the Baltic Sea, the friendly contact with the landlady, and the tasteful furnishings. Furthermore, the apartment is exceptionally well-equipped: from a milk frother to soap dispensers to games/books, everything is really available! We will gladly come back!

A wonderful week

We wanted the beach and the sea and a flat that was not too far away.
From the flat to the beach (incl. lift ride) it is about 9 minutes walk at a leisurely pace.

The flat has (almost) everything you need. There were more kitchen appliances than we have at home. Everything was very space-saving and neatly stored in the cupboards. (Respect to the TETRIS master)
Only a kettle was missing (for us), but we had taken the precaution of packing it.

It was clean, quiet, all electrical appliances worked, the Wi-Fi was stable and we immediately felt very comfortable.

If it works out, we will be happy to come back in 2018. :-)

Holiday apartment for feeling good

We spent a long weekend in Kiel with a baby (3 months) and were fortunate to have this great vacation rental. The contact with the landlord was very nice and the booking process went smoothly. About the vacation rental: The apartment is located in the Olympia Hotel in Kiel-Schilksee and offers a good view of the harbor and the Kiel Bay. The rooms were recently renovated. Everything is very modern and the amenities are great. Nothing is missing. We have stayed in several vacation rentals, but this one really stands out. The apartment is lovingly furnished and you truly feel at home. This is how you can enjoy your vacation. If we are in Kiel again, we will definitely choose this beautiful vacation rental again.

Hard to top

We were lucky enough to spend a week in this beautiful, newly renovated flat. The furnishings are of high quality and there is really nothing missing. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and more. The beds are excellent. The bathroom is small, but also of high quality.
The location was very convenient for us cyclists, the ferry to Laboe docks almost in front of the door.

The contact with the landlords was very friendly and helpful.
Once again THANK YOU!

We are VERY LIKELY to come back!
