Vacation in the Museum
When did I last hold such a front door key in my hand, childhood memories. A lovingly furnished house, beautiful fabrics and color harmony. Nothing should be changed in this house, it cannot be undone. It is from another time and full of memories. One should be in good shape, though. The garden is a dream, breakfast outside every day. Very heavy garden furniture, so no fear in a storm. The location is unique, and the house was photographed again and again. Thank you for the champagne in the fridge and for allowing us to bring a second dog.

Our late summer dream
My boyfriend and I enjoyed the last sunny days of the late summer in this beautiful house, with a wonderful view of the Baltic Sea and a large green property around it. The promenade is on the doorstep and shopping and dining options are within walking distance, but a men's and a women's bike were also available in the shed. We also enjoyed the table tennis table as we love to play. We found practical kitchen equipment, where I didn't miss anything, in the clean house. We will definitely be back next year!

Beach vacation
Great location, unfortunately slightly dirty. The laundry package only contained one towel (50x100 cm).

Great cottage with incredible views of the Kiel Fjord
The beach on the doorstep, a large sunny garden and the TV would not really be needed, because the many sailing ships and big boats on the Kiel Fjord directly from the house already offer enough to watch.
We enjoyed our time in the charming and historic house very much. It is not far on foot or by bike to the Olympic harbour, Strande or the Bülk lighthouse, and not far inland along the steep coast to the very wide Falckenstein beach
Our daughter enjoyed the sea, the table tennis table and sailing.

Museum yes / Vacation no!
That they want to preserve the little house, all credit to them. It is a really beautiful little house, but for the holiday - the best time of the entire year - it is not recommended. There isn't a good bed! Unfortunately, these are all single beds and are much too narrow at 90 and even 70 cm! The narrow but rather steep staircase upstairs makes it impossible for older people to carry a heavy suitcase upstairs. Unfortunately, there is no cozy space to "lounge around" or watch TV, as the television is like a "larger picture frame" that can only receive 4 channels (only in good weather). In Schilksee, in the evening when it's already dark, you can only watch TV - there's nothing else. And when you come back from your evening walk, you should try not to forget your flashlight, as there is no outdoor lighting. The house is quite cold and can only be heated with space heaters or by using wood fires. In conclusion: The beautiful sea view alone is unfortunately not enough to make a holiday worthwhile.

Unsere Stammgäste wissen dieses Haus zu schätzen. Es ist besonders gut für Familien mit Kindern geeignet. So klein die Wohnfläche ist, so groß ist der Garten. Die Ostsee direkt vor der Tür erlaubt schon vor dem Frühstück das erste Badevergnügen!
