Wonderful holiday home

Very nice landlords, good and fast communication, punctual and detailed explanation of how everything works. The house is great, very nicely furnished and has everything you need. Fruit, flowers, and a good bottle of wine as a welcome gift were great. The location is ideal, parking in front of the house and the city center and pedestrian zone just meters away. We really liked it and will book again.

Nice vacation

The Schmidt family is very friendly and everything went very smoothly, from arrival to departure.
The apartment is very nice, from the size to the cleanliness.
It is very centrally located to the city center and is therefore a good starting point for all activities.
We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

Arriving and the vacation begins

Since 2020, we have been vacationing at Hexenhüsli several times a year (spring, summer, autumn). From the first moment, we felt at home at Hexenhüsli. The landlords are warm and very dedicated. They are happy to answer any questions. The lovingly furnished and well-maintained Hexenhüsli offers all the amenities for a relaxing vacation. Within a maximum of 3 minutes' walk, there is a butcher, bakery, grocery store, and other small shops. Despite its central location - even the nearby church (carillon) - it is quiet and you can relax wonderfully. A big advantage is that bicycles can be stored in a locked room. From Hexenhüsli, you have all the possibilities to explore the beautiful Markgräflerland, Rhein plain, Breisgau, Kaiserstuhl - on foot, by bike, by public transport... Our conclusion: We always love to come back to Hexenhüsli!!!

A wonderful holiday

We had a wonderful holiday in the Hexenhüsli. The accommodation is furnished with a lot of love and really lacks nothing. Everything is very clean. We felt comfortable all around.

Living in a beautiful ambience

A beautiful historic house, designed with love and heart, into an all-round feel-good witch's cottage
It is very centrally located, has its own parking space, generous room design, modern furnishings and everything your heart desires.
We enjoyed our stay very much, even if it was short, and look forward to seeing you again soon.

Perfect House For Our Vacation!

We were very comfortable and appreciated the privacy we had in this single-family house situated in a quiet pedestrian zone. The rooms throughout the house are spacious and bright with plenty of natural light. Recent renovations included new finishes and a well-equipped kitchen, but guests can still relax in a traditional setting in the den under the A-frame roof and on the balcony overlooking the church in the historic center. The TV cable has a nice variety of channels including several American and British news stations broadcast in English.
A bank with ATMs, grocery store, bakery, and several good restaurants are all within a couple hundred feet in the pedestrian zone, which extends, lined with cafes and shops, to the spa and the train station about a half mile away. Movies and classical concerts are held some evenings in the town square and park along the way. Riding the train free of charge using our guest cards was a great way to view scenery and avoid parking issues in larger towns we visited. Upon return from a long day's drive or visit to the upscale supermarket on the northern by-pass, our two private parking spaces were always free right beside the house.
Our congenial hosts were available anytime if needed. Frau Schmidt takes pride in sharing her home, and left thoughtful touches to welcome us as guests. I particularly enjoyed the selections on the bookcase upstairs and learned a lot from the books related to the local culture.
Our stay in the "Hexenhuesli" could not have been any nicer! If we're lucky enough to come back to this laid-back part of Germany, we will definitely stay here again. The Schmidts are excellent hosts, and we highly recommend their delightful vacation home.

Great vacation at Hexenhüsli in Bad Krozingen (Black Forest)

We had a fantastic holiday in the Black Forest. Our stay in the Hexenhüsli definitely contributed to that. The cottage was fully equipped. In one word: TOP! Great base for exploring the surroundings, especially with the opportunity to travel for free by train and bus. The welcome upon arrival was very warm, we would love to come back again!

Couple with baby

Spacious and top furnished holiday flat (2 bathrooms, modern kitchen, coffee machine, TV in the bedroom, children's extra bed etc.) on two floors in the immediate vicinity of the centre of Bad Krozingen.Great walks with prams possible in the immediate vicinity.

We enjoyed our stay very much and thank the very friendly landlords again for the smooth handling!

Highly recommended!

The Hexenhüsli impresses with its unique cozy charm and its nice and friendly landlords. A bottle of wine for the evening and some fruit for the first hunger upon arrival seem to be a matter of course as a welcome here. There is nothing to complain about at the accommodation itself. In addition to sufficient space for up to four people, there is nothing missing that you need for a short or longer vacation. For your money, you get a fully furnished household, starting with a Jura coffee machine to various board games for cozy evenings. The location of the house is perfect, within walking distance you will find all the shops for daily needs (the bakery is just around the corner) and various restaurants if you want to leave the kitchen cold. In other words, the Hexenhüsli is highly recommended!

Relaxing days

The "Hexenhüsli" is very centrally located. It is a beautiful holiday home. Central yet very quiet. The apartment's equipment is great, everything you need is available. The large coffee machine rounds it all off. The beds are great, we had no back problems during the entire stay. The large studio is very bright, the seating area very comfortable. A retreat in bad weather. The Schmidt family is very nice and helpful. We had very nice days and would come back anytime. Can only recommend the house.

Great family holiday in a cozy little house

Thumbs up for the Schmidt family! The reception by the Schmidt family with a fruit basket, wine, local schnapps, and Easter sweets for the children is already a great idea that we have not experienced in any vacation rental before. The entire house is equipped with lots of attention to detail and modern comforts. Everything is well thought out (games for children, plenty of towels and bed linen, modern kitchen equipment, WiFi, and much more). We felt right at home. Also, many activities were free for us because of the guest card (swimming, e-biking, train rides, etc.). The neighbors also gave us good tips for hikes and good restaurants. You are truly and warmly welcomed, and we will definitely vacation there again.

A dream in the center of Bad Krozingen

The "Hexenhüsli" is located in a super central location in the center of Bad Krozingen. It is well equipped with a spacious kitchen, all necessary utensils, and even a coffee machine. Over two floors, there are two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a lovingly prepared attic as a living room. Reserved parking spaces are available in front of the house, but due to the central location and proximity to the train station, you can also easily arrive by public transportation. Just one street away, you will find excellent dining options (a pizzeria and a fabulous Greek restaurant!) as well as delicious bakeries and a supermarket. For long walks, the Neumagen river flows nearby, which you can follow all the way to Staufen i. B. and is perfect for morning jogging tours. If you follow it in the other direction, you will reach the spa park and its various wellness treatments in just a few minutes' walk. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and always strive to make guests feel welcome and have a pleasant stay. This accommodation comes highly recommended and I look forward to my next visit to Bad Krozingen!

Golden autumn days

From check-in to check-out, everything was wonderful, easy, and pleasant. Top equipment, nothing is missing. Perfectly clean, very good condition of the facilities and appliances. Superb support from the landlord. Happy to come back.

We would like to thank you very much for the warm welcome with a bottle of wine and some fruit. The reception was very nice. We were able to relax and unwind from everyday life for a few days in your 's Hexenhüsli. The kitchen is very well equipped. Kettle, coffee machine, microwave, and dishwasher made our holiday days pleasant. The attic studio is harmoniously furnished. We were able to spend some quiet evening hours on the adjacent balcony. Historical feel-good house

A very spacious, almost perfectly equipped (with WiFi it would be perfect), historic house in the center of the city and yet very quiet. All top sites within walking distance - which is not surprising in Bad Krotzingen ;-) Kitchen super equipped, balcony very large, landlord exceptionally friendly. We felt very comfortable there and will definitely come back!
