Welcome to our holiday home Mas Tomasi on the Costa Brava!
Look forward to a relaxing break with family and friends in our lovingly furnished holiday home in Pals. Casa Mas Tomasi offers everything you need for an unforgettable holiday – whether you are travelling with children, good friends, or your four-legged companion.
The highlight of the house is the private pool, which provides refreshment and swimming fun on warm days. An air conditioner with heating function in every room ensures pleasant temperatures – so you feel comfortable all year round.
Free Wi-Fi is of course available to you, so you can stay well connected even on vacation.
Your dog is also welcome with us! The completely fenced property provides safety and a relaxed holiday feeling.
An outdoor grill is available for shared barbecue evenings, where you can prepare regional specialties. The holiday home is situated on a terraced hillside property and offers you a magnificent panoramic view of the mountains and the sea. Whether inside the house or on the various terraces – comfortable sun loungers and garden furniture invite you to relax everywhere.
Casa Mas Tomasi accommodates two to eight people. The main building has three bedrooms and a shower room, while an attached apartment with a separate entrance, its own bedroom, and bathroom provides additional space and privacy.
For families with small children, we are happy to provide a crib and a high chair.
Please note that smoking is only permitted outdoors and that the house is not barrier-free due to its hillside location. The Costa Brava offers numerous activities and excursion destinations for you: Explore picturesque coastal towns, discover the historic city of Pals, or enjoy nature while hiking through pine forests. Water sports enthusiasts will also get their money’s worth with diving, snorkeling, or sailing.

Location and surroundings of object
The sprawling resort town lies within the pine forest between L'Estartit to the north and Sa Riera/Begur a few kilometers to the south. Playa de Pals, a popular surfing spot, boasts a kilometer-long sandy beach, up to approximately 80 meters wide.
Between Playa de Pals and Sa Riera are several small rocky coves and swimming spots.
Playa de Pals offers tennis and squash facilities with both hard and clay courts. There is an 18-hole golf course in Playa de Pals and a 27-hole golf course in Gualta. Six kilometers inland, perched on a hill, lies the charming medieval town of Pals, dominated by a castle and offering excellent restaurants.
The historic center, with its cobblestone streets, churches, and flower-adorned houses, has been meticulously and tastefully restored. The area around Pals is ideal for exploring by bicycle on marked trails. A coastal road leads to the picturesque bay of Sa Riera in just a few minutes by car.
Pals is situated on a hill, approximately 3 km from Playa de Pals and the beaches.
The hamlet of Els Masos, consisting mainly of holiday homes, lies between Pals and Playa de Pals (each 2.5 km away). Sa Riera is 7 km away, and Begur is 9 km away.
The hamlet of Mas Tomasí, also consisting mainly of holiday homes, stretches across a pine-covered hillside between Pals and Playa de Pals.

Your translation is already very good! The rental price includes electricity costs up to 10 kWh per day. Any consumption exceeding this amount will be billed separately upon departure. All other utilities are included in the rental price. Final cleaning is included, provided the house is returned in the agreed-upon condition. A cleaning fee of €50 will be charged for excessive soiling.
Dogs are welcome and stay free of charge.
Please bring your own towels and bed linens. Alternatively, these can be rented from the management for a fee.
The holiday home consists of two sections:
The main house offers three bedrooms, a kitchen, and a shower room for 2–6 people.
The attached apartment has one bedroom, an en-suite shower room, and a separate entrance for up to two people.
The smallest rental option is the main house for 2–6 people at the standard rental price. The apartment can be added at any time for an additional fee – ideal if you are traveling with 7–8 people or simply require more space.

Very nice house
Very nice house, well situated on a small hill with a view of the sea and the Medes Islands. The house is very well equipped and the area is quiet. We had a very pleasant stay. We recommend it. Thank you very much.

We lacked nothing
We stayed in this beautiful holiday home for the first two weeks in June. We wanted for nothing there. The location is as often mentioned just fantastic with this great view and the surroundings are very quiet. There are also really great restaurants in and around Pals.
We had great weather and could use the pool on the property every day.
You have to drive to the beach. The sea was still quite cool at that time, but there was very little going on at the beach.
For our two dogs, the pine forest was within walking distance and the dog beach is about 15 minutes away by car, at which time there was hardly anyone, which was super nice.
So we can only recommend the house and the surroundings, really very nice.

Quiet and relaxing holiday
We had a very quiet and relaxing holiday in May 2019 in this house. The house is well equipped and leaves little to be desired. The bedrooms are equipped with very good mattresses (we have experienced other things). The view is beautiful and is an absolute must in the morning with a cup of coffee or in the evening with a glass of wine.
When first approaching the house, we recommend using mobile phone navigation. It is actually easier than a possibly outdated one in the car.
We are happy to recommend this house to others.
For dog owners, we would like to mention that the pine forest nearby can be reached quickly on foot and is ideal for the fur noses.

It was all there!
We had a very good rest in the beautiful house. Our two dogs also liked it very much;-) Everything you need was there (except the oven). There were even usable, sharp knives in the kitchen, which we have never experienced in a holiday home. The beautiful panorama is -as already mentioned here several times- really terrific, because the house is located in a holiday home area on a mountain and the view is free from almost everywhere on three sides!
However, it is important to keep this in mind, because the paths (forest, supermarket...) are very steep and therefore not recommended for people with disabilities. We only went to the supermarket/bakery by car, which was a good thing ;-)
We also liked the beach and the surroundings very much. The historic old town of Pals is beautiful and must be visited. The recommended "dog beach" was a bit of a hike along an extremely bad road, but in my opinion it was still worth it. We and the dogs also liked the beautiful "pine forest" very much. We had very little "stress" here with our dogs - which is not so often possible in German holiday regions - and could relax wonderfully.
Before (first) arriving at the holiday home, be sure to study the map of the residential area, otherwise you will end up like us: we followed the only sign "Mas Tomasi" and found ourselves in the completely wrong part of the residential area on the "upper" part of the mountain. There is no connection to the holiday home from here. You have to go all the way down again and find another way. There is not a single street name in the whole area and the house numbers are not chronological. This is -at first- all very confusing. (Even the local rental car company refused to deliver a car to the residential area for this reason).
Of course, this cannot be blamed on the landlady. In this respect, we have nothing to complain about and will be happy to come back.

We felt very comfortable
We stayed in the holiday home in mid-August with 4 adults, a toddler and 2 dogs. The house is equipped with everything you need. There is only no oven, but there is a barbecue behind the house. There is a great dog beach just 20 minutes away by car, which we visited often. To go for a walk, you have to "pass" a slight descent and then an ascent, but then you are rewarded by a great forest with many small paths that our dogs were only too happy to explore.
The house is also perfectly situated for many beautiful neighbouring towns such as Pals town, Begur, Girona, Torrella de Montgrí etc.....
All in all, we felt very comfortable and can recommend the holiday home to everyone.
