Continuously renovated since 2015, Piepen is the perfect flat for 2 tall people and one short person. Facing south, it is located on the 1st floor.
The living room contains the open and well-equipped kitchenette (renovated in 2019), the bedroom is very cosy and invites to sea dreams. The shower room was completely renovated in 2019. On top of that, there is a balcony and a small hallway
A cot with bedding and a high chair are available free of charge on request
Well-behaved dogs are welcome and can experience wonderful walks with you.

The really very good and loving furnishing of the flat is based on 20 years of our own experience as guests in holiday flats.

The flat has laminate and vinyl flooring.

Shower room: wall-mounted WC, washstand with drawer cabinet, hairdryer, toilet paper

Location and surroundings of object

By car you can reach Büsum harbour in five minutes, on foot you can walk along the waterfront in about 30 minutes and over the inland dike in about 20 minutes. Wonderful walks, whether at low tide or high tide. The North Sea is always exciting. Especially in the evening, at sunset.
Deichhausen is about 2 km away from Büsum, which in turn is about 24 km away from Heide (district capital of Dithmarschen). Grocery shops and discounters can be reached by car in two minutes

There is a lot to see: St. Peter-Ording, Husum, Tönning, Wattforum, Westerhever lighthouse, Friedrichstadt, Albersdorf with Stone Age Park and lots of water or mudflats and therefore lots to discover

But you can also go to Sylt - by train and/or car or over to the Baltic Sea or to Helgoland or out with the crab fisherman or or or

The very quiet Büsumer Deichhausen is only 2 km southwest of Büsum with its lively harbour, museum harbour worth seeing, upmarket pedestrian zone (Alleestraße) and very varied shopping and strolling possibilities. If you want to eat out, you really are spoilt for choice here. Excellent restaurants for all tastes can be discovered while strolling through Büsum and for in-between: simply a fish roll with Büsum prawns or .............

Our Deichhausen green beach is only 400 m away, very well maintained and invites you to take a walk, relax and do sports. The dog beach is of equal value and just as close.
Especially recommended in Deichhausen is the Schäferei Rolfs with its delicious cakes, good coffee, fancy home accessories in a beautiful country house atmosphere. For children: pony rides and indoor playground. You can reach the shepherd's hut on foot in two minutes.

For every cancellation by the tenant of the rental agreement and non-use of the rental property, we charge 40 euros. In addition, the landlord is entitled to 80% of the rental amount if it is not possible to rent the property for the same period and at the same rental price.

From dog owner to dog owner: with us, dogs do not sleep in the bed nor are they allowed on the upholstered furniture. As our guest, respect our wish.

A comprehensive bed linen/towel package, consisting of a bed and pillow cover, a fitted sheet, 2 towels 50 x 100, a shower towel 70 x 140 and a guest towel 30 x 50, can be booked as an option for 15.00 €/person.

Washing machine, dryer and detergent are available free of charge.

AGB

1. With the booking, which can be made by telephone, in writing or by e-mail, the tenant accepts the rental offer and the GTC.
2. After receipt of the rental contract/booking confirmation, the tenant must pay a 25% deposit of the total rental price. The remaining amount must be paid into the account specified by the landlord 14 days before the tenant's arrival.
3. In case of non-use of the rental object (cancellation), the landlord is entitled to 80% of the rental amount - irrespective of the period of cancellation - if it is not possible to rent out the rental object for the same period and rental price. Above this amount we charge 40,-€ , regardless of a new letting
4. The lessor shall be released from the obligation to perform as well as from compensation for damages insofar as his performance becomes impossible due to a circumstance for which he is not responsible, e.g. legal requirements, pandemics or water/fire damage. If the rental object cannot be made available for other reasons, the landlord has the right to provide an equivalent rental object.
5. On the day of arrival, the flat is available to you from clock, on the day of departure until clock.
6. On taking over the rented property, any defects or damage must be reported immediately. The landlord is obliged to remedy the defects immediately in urgent cases or if the rented property is impaired. Any necessary repairs resulting therefrom shall be accepted by the tenant. In urgent cases, the landlord or his representatives shall be permitted to enter the rented property
7. No liability is accepted for items brought by the tenant
8. The rented property may only be occupied by the number of persons stated in the rental contract (children count as a full person). Pets may only be brought along with prior permission (the landlord may charge a fee for this)
9. The tenant must treat the rented property with care and undertakes to compensate for all damage caused by him and his flatmates and to report this to the agency
10. On departure, the rented property must be left swept clean. The dishes must be washed and the household waste disposed of. Pet hair must be removed and own food must be taken back. If these requirements are not met, the landlord reserves the right to assert additional claims.
11. The spa tax is to be paid by the tenant according to the local spa tax statutes.

Super vacation apartment at a more than fair price.

I booked the holiday apartment "Norderpiep" from July 22nd to August 12th, 2023 with my dog. The apartment is completely sufficient for one person or two people. Everything was as described in the description. The cleanliness was simply top! I would like to commend the nice cleaning lady again, who cleans each apartment spotlessly as soon as a guest has left. This ensures that the next tenant finds a perfectly clean apartment.

In the small kitchenette, everything you need is available. Furthermore, you can use the washing machine and dryer located in the basement for a small fee. The small balcony is also very nice.

A big plus, which speaks for the "occupancy rate" of the apartments in Marschenweg 2, Büsumer Deichhausen, is the absolutely fair price-performance ratio. I haven't found that before. Please keep it up!!!!

It is also worth mentioning the short walk to the beach entrance, where you can also get your guest card. And of course, the possibilities to take beautiful walks with the dog. Whether it's a short walk along the nearby "field paths" or longer rounds through the village or to Büsum or Warwerort and back along the water. Or even longer trips by car.

All in all, it was a very nice three weeks. I can definitely recommend the apartment "Norderpiep". Thank you very much to Mrs. Schlömer! The vacation in July 2024 has already been booked for the same apartment.

Super süße FeWo

We spent 2 days here and were totally surprised at how clean the vacation rental was. It is equipped with everything you need, even with tea lights ;) We can only recommend this apartment. Great location and as soon as you enter the apartment, the holiday mood is there.

All around fantastic

The holiday apartment Piepen was perfect for our beach vacation with a baby. The equipment is put together with great attention to detail and a sense of practicality and leaves nothing to be desired. The fact that we were allowed to use a (well-kept!) washing machine and a dryer for free was fantastic. The apartment was perfectly cleaned. We enjoyed the peace, the garden, and the cozy atmosphere. Hopefully back soon!

Relaxing days in a good apartment

We felt very comfortable and would book the flat again
The open kitchenette is small (which is described as such and is not meant negatively) but well equipped. The fridge is quite noisy, but since no one slept on the couch, it was not a problem for us
The bathroom is functional but very clean, as is the rest of the flat

We had several questions before we booked, all of which were answered promptly and in a friendly manner. a very nice contact. Thank you very much!

The cleaning fairy was ready when we left and was very friendly

Very nice landlords, cozy apartment.

We have arrived and immediately felt at home. It is very cozily furnished and lovingly decorated. Everything you need is available. We were very pleased about the welcome jam, it was delicious, thank you very much. The location of the house is great, you can reach the beach or the bakery within a few minutes and you can also easily walk to Büsum, great for walks with a dog. We had a few lovely (feel-good) days and will definitely come back.

Gemütlich

We had a great time in the PIEPEN apartment. It has a fantastic location close to the beach and is also very quiet. The balcony is great and even has evening sun. For that, you have the morning sun at the small breakfast table :-) What more could you want. Fresh buns can also be reached in a 3-minute walk.
The apartment itself was very clean and has everything you need for self-catering. It is comfortably furnished and we didn't miss anything. From the homemade jam as a welcome gift to the fragrant bed linen, everything was great.
We felt very comfortable and would vacation here again at any time.

Cozy holiday apartment with garden - great for dog owners!

The sweet little vacation apartment is only a short walk from the beach. It is comfortably furnished and the garden was very appealing to our dog. Büsum is just a stone's throw away, and Sankt Peter Ording and Westerhever are also not far.

All in all:

*Super value for money
*And a very cozy apartment, where nothing is missing in terms of amenities! We can only recommend and look forward to the next visit :)!

Unsauber

The apartment was dirty! Found laundry from the previous tenant in the closet!
Sofa in the living room too small, armchair uncomfortable, TV too small.
Kitchen very basic.
We left two days early because then the roofers were standing in front of our balcony at 7:30 am. We had booked the balcony for an extra 5€ per day and couldn't use it because there was no privacy screen left. All in all, we cannot recommend this vacation rental.

ich bedauere sehr, dass es Ihnen bei uns nicht gefallen hat.
Die „Unsauberkeit“ der Wohnung begründete sich gemäß Ihrem ersten Anruf bei mir auf ein Spinnweb an der Dielendecke sowie auf meine vergessene Kleidung. Dies war mir natürlich sehr peinlich, sodass ich Ihnen sofort eine Tagesmiete (45,00 €) erstattete.

Sie waren nach der Renovierung/Modernisierung unser erster Feriengast in der Wohnung „Norderpiep“. Wir haben diese, genau wie die anderen nach bestem Wissen und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und selbstverständlich ordnungsgemäß grundgereinigt.

Natürlich ist die Einrichtung von Wohnungen ein sehr subjektiv behaftetes Thema, dem man nur mit eigenen Erfahrungen und Vorstellungen begegnen kann. Daher haben wir uns für dieses 2-Sitzer Sofa – für eine 2-Personen Wohnung sollte es ausreichen – und dem Schwingsessel entschieden. Wir haben ähnliche Möbel und sind sehr zufrieden und hoffen natürlich auch unsere Gäste.
Wir finden auch den neuen Flachbildschirm-Fernseher für den Abstand zum Sofa und Sessel ausreichend groß. Aber wie gesagt: Das alles ist sehr subjektiv.
Auch die Küche ist – aufgrund langjähriger eigener Erfahrungen als Gast von Ferienwohnung – nach unserem Dafürhalten überdurchschnittlich gut ausgestattet. Dass es sich – bisher – lediglich um einen 2-Platten-Herd handelt, konnten Sie der Beschreibung und Bilder der Wohnung im Internet entnehmen, was im übrigen auch für die weitere Einrichtung der Wohnung gilt.

Die Nutzbarkeit eines Balkons hängt weniger vom vorhandenen Sichtschutz ab, als vielmehr vom guten Wetter. Das war leider auch die Ursache, dass der Dachdecker erst in der Woche das durch Sturmschaden stark beschädigte Flachdach reparieren konnten. Durch diesen Schaden hatten wir in der darunterliegenden Wohnung einen erheblichen Feuchtigkeitsschaden und konnten diese nicht fertig renovieren.

Bedauerlicherweise wurden weder Sie noch wir von der Fortführung der Arbeiten unterrichtet. Diese waren jedoch am selben Tag um 15.00 Uhr abgeschlossen (inkl. Wiederanbringung des wegen der Arbeiten demontierten Sichtschutzes. Ein vorzeitige Abreise war daher nicht notwendig. Über den morgendlichen Beginn der Arbeiten gibt es verschiedene Aussagen die 1,5 Std. nach hinten auseinanderliegen.

Ein Satz zum Schluss: In Ihrem zweiten Anruf bei mir, forderten Sie aufgrund der vorzeitigen Abreise eine weitere Erstattung einer Tagesmiete und erklärten, keine gute Bewertung für uns abgeben zu wollen. Ferner haben Sie einen Rechtsanwalt beauftragt um dieser Forderung mit Fristsetzung Nachdruck zu verleihen.
Das Sie nun diese Bewertung nach fruchtlosem Fristablauf abgegeben, hat für uns einen bitteren Beigeschmack.

We are: Stephan Ludwig (born in Heide Dithmarschen and grew up there until the age of 10, then moved to Cologne) and Ute Schlömer (a true Cologne resident and since their first holiday together in 1996 in Büsum with Mrs Martensen, firmly convinced that one day we would live there). It's almost done! We already have a second home in Büsumer Deichhausen. And when we no longer have to work, we'll be going to Deichhausen for good!
