The Vilzsee House in Diemitz
Our holiday home at the Vilzsee has two comfortably furnished flats, each with a living, dining and kitchen area as well as two separate bedrooms, bathroom and guest WC. The flats were completed and newly furnished at the end of September 2012.
A maximum of 5 people per flat can enjoy the magnificent view of the lake and nature. Two parking spaces are directly adjacent to the house. A wide range of leisure activities can be enjoyed at any time of the year. Those seeking relaxation will find peace and quiet here in almost untouched nature. Children have enough space and freedom to discover new things.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home at the Vilzsee is characterised by its wonderful, quiet location with direct access to the lake. Between the holiday home and the lake is a playground, which can be used for sports and games.
The village of Diemitz is nestled between the two historically and touristically interesting small towns of Mirow (M-V) and Rheinsberg (BB). Here, friends of culture and history can get their money's worth. Whether you are a lover of classical music and want to attend one of the numerous concerts or visit one of the old castles.
The public sandy beach of the municipality of Diemitz as well as the small harbour with moorings for sailing, rowing and motor boats can be reached in a minute's walk. We offer our water sports enthusiastic guests a boat mooring for their use. The Vilzsee is part of the Müritz-Havel waterway and therefore particularly interesting for water hikers.
In the neighbouring village of Fleether Mühle, about 2 km away, there is a kayak and canoe rental. Discover the Vilzsee and its surroundings from the water. Fishing permits are also available there, by the way.

| The rental prices quoted refer to groups of guests with max. 2 adults and 2 children under 18 years. Each additional person (max. 5 guests in one apartment) costs € 10 per night. Pets can be brought along by arrangement. The one-off cleaning fee increases by € 15 per pet. The town of Mirow charges a visitor's tax of 1 € per night/adult guest. Cancellation terms:
- You will be refunded half of the booking amount minus the cancellation fee, if you cancel the booking at least 7 days before the planned check-in until 12 o’clock midday CET (Central European time). For cancellations which are made less than 7 days before check-in there will be no refund.

Anglers will find numerous fishing spots in the immediate vicinity. Whether for beginners or professionals: the fishing waters are interesting for everyone.
Another hint for passionate golfers: The golf resort Fleesensee, known throughout Germany, is very easy to reach from Diemitz in just under an hour's drive (approx. 40 km). Another (9-hole) golf course is located about 30 km away on the outskirts of the small town of Neustrelitz, which is also worth a visit.

Beautiful
We were two in the beautiful Vilzseehaus in the ground floor apartment and had a very relaxing vacation.
We swam every day, there is direct access to the lake. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace and looking over the huge property at the lake.
There is also a seating area very close to the lake. We bought a small grill and had barbecues there... experienced such beautiful sunsets. Another highlight is the one bedroom, with a lake view from the comfortable bed. There are many options for leisure activities: boating, hiking, and much more. Within walking distance, there is the Floki ice cream café in the village and from Thursday to Sunday, the Most und Kost... we had a very good meal there. After a short hike to the Diemitzer Lock, we also found a good restaurant in the Biber-Scheune. However, these two restaurants are not open in winter. We felt very comfortable in the Vilzseehaus and in the beautiful surroundings!

Nixtun with a dreamlike view
The headline was our intention, the children asked for more. Both were possible without any problems, and so we all got our money's worth.

Wonderfully quiet New Year's transition
We, two people with two dogs, spent a wonderfully quiet New Year's Eve in the ground floor apartment.
The apartment lacks nothing. The underfloor heating was great for the dogs ;-) The fireplace was easy to use thanks to the ready-to-light ignition aid and sufficient firewood.
Area/ surroundings: simply wonderful...
We would love to come back!

Traumhafte Erholung
The Vilzseehaus leaves nothing to be desired. My family and I were able to relax here for 3 wonderful days. We particularly enjoyed the peace, nature, and spacious, clean apartment. The children had a nice room and a large football field. The view of the Vilzsee is uniquely beautiful. We will definitely come back next year.

Relaxing in the middle of nature.
We spent two fantastic weeks in the holiday home. The house and the surroundings are great for families with small children. A child-friendly beach with playground is only about 300m away. Ice cream parlor, really good restaurant, and farm are within walking distance. We will gladly come back!
