Our house is located directly on the quiet banks of the Moselle and offers you exactly the comfort you need to enjoy your vacation so much that you won't want to leave. Originally an ordinary residential house, it was converted with great attention to detail into a high-quality holiday home with an exclusive wellness area and indoor pool. In doing so, we have realized our personal ideas and integrated numerous old objects as well as historical elements, creating a very special, homely atmosphere. Since purchasing the house in 2009, we have continuously improved and modernized it.
There are certainly many holiday accommodations with a view of the Moselle – but you will hardly find a second house on the Moselle with this combination of location, tranquility, and private wellness oasis. There is no road between the house and the river, so you can enjoy exceptional peace and relaxation on your balcony.
In addition to the high-quality furnished apartments, our spacious wellness oasis is available to you in the basement (with direct access to the garden) – an amenity that goes far beyond the usual standard of holiday apartments and more than justifies the price of the accommodation. There you will find, among other things:
- Indoor pool (30°C water temperature, 26°C in summer) with counter-current system, underwater lighting, underwater speakers, floor bubbler, and children's slide
- Kneipp hose and needle shower (cold, for after the sauna)
- Finnish log sauna (with speakers)
- Steam bath (hamam) with automatically dosed aromas and colored light effects (with speakers)

Location and surroundings of object
Our holiday home is located only about 20 meters from the Moselle riverbank. In between runs the Moselle riverside path, where you can enjoy wonderful walks, hikes, cycling, or skating. It is less than 500 meters to the historic town center of Zell—a short walk along the Moselle. In 2026/2027, Zell will create a Moselle beach just 70 meters from the holiday home. Zell is famous for its vineyard “Zeller Schwarze Katz,” whose wines are appreciated worldwide for their quality. All around the Zeller Hamm, the narrowest bend of the Moselle, vineyards stretch as far as the eye can see. You can sample these fine wines at atmospheric wine festivals, in rustic wine cellars, wine taverns, or cozy wine bars. Due to its central location between Trier and Koblenz, Zell is an ideal starting point for exploring the Moselle – on foot, by bicycle, by canoe, rowing or motorboat, or in a relaxed manner on an excursion boat. Zell has a very well-developed network of hiking and cycling trails with various themed routes as well as the Collis Steep Path with via ferrata sections for the more athletic. Our holiday home is located directly on the Moselle hiking and cycling trail, near a playground. You can reach the city center easily in a few minutes on foot.

Are you wondering how we ensure that you can use the wellness area with indoor pool, steam bath, and sauna all to yourself?
It's simple: Using an online weekly calendar, you can conveniently select the times when you would like to use the wellness area exclusively. For this, you will receive a personal booking code from us, with which you can reserve your desired times. Usage works via any web browser – of course also on your smartphone. How long can I reserve?
To ensure that all guests have a fair chance, the following rule applies:
- You can have a maximum of 2 hours firmly reserved in the future.
- You can choose these 2 hours freely (e.g. 6–8 pm today, or 10–12 am tomorrow).
- More than 2 hours in advance (e.g. today 6–8 pm and tomorrow 6–8 pm at the same time) is not possible, as that would be a total of 4 hours. As soon as your reserved time is over, you can immediately book new times again – once more up to 2 hours in advance.
Example:
- You have reserved today from 6–8 pm.
- From 8 pm you can directly book the next up to 2 hours, e.g. for tomorrow 9–11 am.
Change bookings at any time
Your bookings are not fixed, but can be adjusted at any time:
You can change or move an existing booking at any time via your smartphone or another browser. Example: You originally reserved 6–8 pm, but due to bad weather you return from your trip earlier. In that case, you can simply change your reservation to 4–6 pm – of course, only if this time slot is still available. Your advantages at a glance:
- exclusive use of the wellness area during your booked time slots
- fair policy for all guests: reservations possible up to a maximum of 2 hours in advance
- after your time has ended: immediately bookable again for up to 2 hours
- bookings can be changed flexibly at any time via smartphone or PC
This way you enjoy maximum privacy, flexibility, and planning security in our wellness oasis.

Wellness and privacy at the highest level
We met the landlord with the dog by chance, super nice? The equipment is more than sufficient, restaurants are very easily reachable on foot, we are absolutely satisfied?

Great vacation apartment
We spent six days in the apartment "Ersteetage" with a great view of the Moselle from the balcony. The apartment had everything you need for a vacation. We made extensive use of the wellness area. We will definitely come back. Greetings from Schortens.
