"House Holl Idea" in a very quiet street, 5 min. Walk from the center and from the dunes / forest.
Great for family with children but certainly for a vacation for two! Inside + outside there is plenty of space; Sun + shadow. There are several outside areas where you can sit, depending on requirements.
Single storey: The living room is on the south side, bordered by the garden and has patio doors. One comes from the living room into the garden through two patio doors. Lots of privacy. (Game) lawn in front of the house. There is a wood-burning stove in the living room that you can use. Wood is here! Make yourself at home! Outside there is the opportunity to sit under a roof and smoke for example. There is a barbecue.
Stair gate for children. Even the entrance area outside you can finish with a garden gate.
A fully equipped kitchen with u. A. dishwasher, microwave, oven, etc.
The Toilets
On the first floor you will find 3 (or 4, but by appointment only) bedroom, the bathroom with toilet and shower. There are child gates at all stairways.
Front of the house there is a (game) meadow. Free and ample parking.
Many TV transmitter in German.

Location and surroundings of object
ATTENTION: We rent ONLY by the week from Saturday to Saturday (as many weeks as you wish to stay.) Exceptions are sometimes possible.
The house is located in a very quiet area by a meadow, but still very close to the center! Children can play well on the meadow. The meadow is suitable for ball games. Old oaks are located at the roadside but far enough from the house so that the shade is farther away. The dunes and the forest are just as close as the center. You can easily walk to the center of Bergen, dunes, and forest.
By bicycle or on foot, you can cross the dunes in peace to reach the beach. You can also get to the coast by car. The beaches at Bergen, Egmond, and Schoorl are clean and have been awarded the Blue Flag.
The house is a semi-detached house. There is a garden with various terraces in front of and behind the house. The front side faces south. There is a lot of privacy. You can also park for free in front of the house.
There are plenty of parking spaces. Because of the low-traffic location, it is an ideal house to stay with family and children.
Amsterdam is easy to reach by train or by car. There you will also find the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum, the Stedelijk Museum, etc.
Bergen is the beautiful village of, among others, painters, sculptors, poets, writers, etc. There is a lot of nature, culture, and cozy terraces. Forest, meadows, and the Schoorlse Duinen National Park are in the immediate vicinity. Many bicycle paths and also a mountain bike course lead through a varied forest and dune landscape. Beach and North Sea: accessible by car, bike + on foot.
In summer: music festivals and concerts, every Thursday and Friday evening; art and craft markets. In October: 10 days of art: painting and sculpture.
30 minutes by bike away is the historic city center of Alkmaar. The supermarket is open every day (also on Sundays) from to o’clock.
There are organic food stores, also organic food in the supermarkets.
The center of Bergen nh is only a 5-minute walk away, and the Bergen Forest and the Schoorlse Dühnen National Park are also in the immediate vicinity.
Beach and North Sea can be reached by bicycle in only 15 minutes (6 km), with the route leading through a varied forest and dune landscape. Bergen is an artists' village with the well-known Kranenburgh Museum and many galleries, perhaps comparable to Worpswede in Germany.
In summer there are many art markets and music festivals.
Nice restaurants and cafés with terraces can be found everywhere.
Bergen aan Zee is a beautiful North Sea resort. The beach is clean and has been awarded the Blue Flag as a sign of this. You can walk 5 kilometers south along the beach and then you arrive at the fishing village Egmond aan Zee where there are many nice little shops, restaurants, cafés, and ice cream parlors, and even a natural food snack café. You could take the Buurtbus back to Bergen aan Zee. You can also walk for kilometers north of Bergen aan Zee along the beach or through the wooded dunes.

One week of vacation, two weeks of relaxation.
Our vacation as a trio was wonderfully arranged in this house with its balanced options and the diverse surroundings, although the demands and needs of all three individuals were very different. Annemarie and Paul know how to create a sense of well-being for their guests. They are very friendly, helpful, and unobtrusive. We thank them for their human kindness and would be happy to stop by in Bergen with them again.

Great stay, lovely house!
The house is truly amazing! We had such a wonderful holiday.. Spaces bedrooms, large living room and well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the garden and the surrounding is green and peaceful. High quality mattresses! And everything so close to the center of Bergen. We would go for a morning run in the forest which is only minutes away and the house itself had everything we needed and more! Well maintained and very friendly host. Thank you so much for everything, we will be back!!

AMAZING HOLIDAY HOME!
We had a fantastic stay! Everything was just perfect. High quality matresses, very quiet neighbourhood with loads of privacy. Restaurants are walking distance and the forest as well. The perfect accommodation for families I would say, with a well equipped kitchen. We can highly recommend this place in all possible ways, thank you for accommodating us! We will come again.

A house to feel comfortable in
This house occupies a top place among the many, many holiday accommodations from our vacations across Europe. It has everything that makes a nice and cozy townhouse: its own entrance, hallway, guest toilet, a spacious living room with its own TV corner and armchair, the comfortable seating and relaxation area with a large, well-padded leather sofa as well as two armchairs, and separated from that a large dining table with six comfortable chairs. The many floor lamps that provide excellent reading light are great. The separate kitchen is equipped with all (brand) appliances that are necessary for extensive cooking - the cabinets are so well stocked that you could easily feed a company with the crockery and glasses. Whether grater, knife, pans, casserole dishes - there is nothing that could be missing. The entire house is comfortably and harmoniously furnished, modern graphics on the walls make it light. Upstairs, in addition to the bedrooms, there is a new and modern shower room with a washing machine. We were there in December and logically did not use the garden - in the summer it is definitely a little paradise, dense and lush. Our bicycles were stored safely and dryly in the carport. The house is located in a quiet and nice residential area - the center of the beautiful artist village can be reached on foot in less than ten minutes, with the bike it is a stone's throw away. And since we often chattered in cool apartments in winter or spring, an additional note: the house is comfortably warm with central heating. A fireplace provides additional coziness in cold times, but we didn't light it at almost 10 degrees. The landlord couple is fantastic: caring and committed to the well-being of the guests.
