Relaxation in the mountains with proximity to the sea.

We spent a relaxing week in the Ligurian hinterland. Lovingly welcomed and fed. A beautiful accommodation, simple and clean, equipped with everything necessary. A dreamlike view over Ligurian mountains and valleys. Perfect for hiking and mountain biking. The smaller towns in the area are very worth seeing, and you will gladly receive tips from the landlady. You can also quickly reach the sea or Imperia by car. Three large, friendly dogs live with the landlady. Our children (12 and 14) were very excited about them, but maybe not suitable for guests with a fear of dogs. We will definitely come back!

The house to feel comfortable - guests as well as guest dogs

I was recommended Casa Capinera last year. Finally, it worked out for a week (unfortunately, too short). My debut in Italy. Couldn't have chosen better!
My dog Kyra and I enjoyed our stay with Benny immensely. As soon as we arrived, we felt like guests of a good friend.
It's a beautiful place, Benny is very attentive, responds to the wishes of her guests, and shares many insider tips. Additionally, she is a very good cook. Thank you for the generous apartment: spacious kitchen, dining, and living area with a wood stove, free Wifi, and a large TV. In short: a place to feel comfortable. It's also a big plus that guests are allowed to bring their dogs, something that I especially appreciated. Not only me, but also Kyra, were spoiled by Benny. Next year I would like to come back (for more than just 1 week and with my wife) to show her the beautiful area and so she can experience the hospitable atmosphere of the Casa.

Paradies

Our holiday in Cesio at Casa Capinera was our first mountain vacation, and we were enchanted by the panorama and what Casa Capinera has to offer from the first second. Here, everyday life runs in an easygoing, unique rhythm, without hustle and bustle or stress. The walks with the innkeeper through the olive groves and villages were fantastic; it is impossible to put into words what one beholds with their own eyes. In the morning, it's fantastic to open the door and walk directly into the forest with your coffee, letting your gaze wander over the mountains. I can really recommend to everyone who wants to take a vacation in the mountains to choose Casa Capinera. You feel comfortable there in no time. We are looking forward to being there again in the fall. Thank you so much, dear Benny, for welcoming us so warmly and taking such great care of us when we needed anything. Vacation with friends

Very relaxing holiday in the wooded hinterland of Imperia. Quiet location, yet the hotspots on the Riviera dei Fiori are easily accessible. With Benny, you feel completely comfortable. It starts with the delicious welcome menu. She is always there with help and advice. She has great excursion (secret) tips. If you wish, you can sit in the evening with Benny, her friends, and the other guests (not forgetting the dogs) for a casual chat in front of the Casa. One can also easily retreat to one's apartment. Unfortunately, our vacation was clouded by a breakdown and the mobility guarantee did not live up to its promise. But thanks to Benny, who organized a workshop for us, everything was sorted out by the time of departure.

Alpine and maritime, relaxation and culinary delights.

Pure relaxation on our own terrace with a view of the Pre-Alps, still snow-capped higher up. Beautiful and exciting day trips to the surrounding villages and the sea, and genuine Italian flair in the small town of Imperia, which we simply fell in love with. For dinner, accompanied by a beautiful sunset, we were cooked Ligurian cuisine by Benny and, of course, took home some excellent cooking tips.

Wonderful!

As soon as we arrived at Casa Capinera, we were treated to a fantastic welcome dinner by Benny with incredibly delicious appetizers and pasta - all in front of a picturesque Ligurian mountain backdrop. 'La dolce vita' couldn't start any better! Pure relaxation thanks to the relaxed atmosphere, a tastefully decorated holiday apartment, and the many helpful tips from Sabine Kury (Benny), who always assists her guests with advice and support. Our children (5 and 9) along with our dog were able to freely explore the extensive property. Days spent bathing, short hikes, and sightseeing in picturesque mountain villages and coastal towns never failed to entertain. Dear Benny, thank you again for everything! We will be back and already miss your cooking skills!

The apartment has everything you need, the area is beautiful, the opportunities between mountains and sea are diverse, and Benny is a great host. Her helpful excursion tips have been of great service to us. The welcome dinner with guests from the other vacation rentals not only tasted excellent but was also a good way to arrive, forget the exhausting journey, and get to know each other. Holiday at its most beautiful.

We are repeat offenders - as promised last year. This time for three weeks and it was wonderful. There was more time for excursions (to Cinque Terre) and city tours in such interesting cities as Genoa. In between and on the last days, many sunny and relaxing hours on the beautiful beach of Diano Marina and sports activities in the mountains. So, there is really something for everyone. And our apartment and hostess? Just like in 2016, perfect. Benny always has an open ear for all kinds of questions and takes the time when needed. A great vacation!

If you can do without frills like a pool and bar and prefer a cozy and quiet setting, this is the place for you. Very nice, spacious, and clean apartment with plenty of storage space for all the stuff you always bring along. Fully equipped kitchen for self-catering. Large garden with private pavilion. Shopping facilities are nearby, hiking trails right outside the door. Great for families with children and dogs. Benny (Sabine) is a great host and is always available with advice, help, and many good tips. If you are looking for peace, seclusion, and culture or want to go hiking, you are in good hands in the Ligurian Mountains at Casa Capinera. It's also great that our dog was allowed to move around freely. He immediately made friends with Benny's dog Leo. We will definitely come back!

Vacation in nature and incredibly loving company.

If you can do without a pool and big extras, this is the right place for you. Because the view, the hostess, and the atmosphere are just great. The apartment is lovingly furnished, self-catering is possible, and you can also enjoy the food outside the four walls. Sabine Kury (also known as Benny) is always on site and has an answer to every question, always has great tips and recommendations to experience a lot during the holiday, and she is also incredibly helpful. Dogs are very welcome, and it is a true pleasure to chat with Benny. Social gatherings and lovingly prepared dinners with all the guests of the accommodation create a great family atmosphere. With the multi-course menu, she caters specifically to her guests and takes great care of their preferences. All in all, it is a great holiday destination where you can relax, hike, and make new friendships. We will gladly visit Benny and her two four-legged companions again.

Experience nature and deep relaxation

We had a truly excellent week at Casa Capinera. Highly recommended for those looking to relax completely. The holiday apartment was very spacious and offered a great view of the valley and mountains. The other guests were great, so we always sat together in the evenings and enjoyed a few beers or glasses of wine as the day ended. The Casa Capinera is an ideal starting point for activities: hiking, swimming in the crystal-clear river, discovering picturesque villages, or driving to one of the many beaches nearby. Or simply take a good book and relax. Benny, our hostess, was a dream and always had good tips ready. On request, she conjured up some wonderful menus for us, which we were able to enjoy with the other guests at a large table with a fantastic view. Unfortunately, we were only there for one week; it is recommended to stay at least two. We immediately rebooked for next year.

Liguria offers everything, whether you're looking for an active vacation or just a bit of relaxation. Beautiful old towns and well-kept beaches. Lakes for swimming or better yet, small lagoons. Wonderful food and not too touristy.
We visited as a family and felt more than comfortable from the very beginning. Both the apartment and the property are beautiful. Our hostess was there for us from the start and took care of us. Once again, thank you very much, we would love to come back.

Total relaxation in a dreamlike setting

Shortly after arrival, we felt right at home and as if we had known the owner forever. We only checked the phone briefly in the morning/evening. The TV was never on. The scenery is simply stunning. Picturesque small villages, wonderful beaches, also for dogs! On the grounds of Casa Capinera, our dogs were free to roam and explore everything. During a wonderful sunset, we were able to enjoy the typical local house wine and will NEVER forget this vacation! We will come back!!!

It was just perfect.

We came with the hope of a lovely vacation and left with the pain of having to say goodbye to friends. Casa Capinera is a beautifully located property with 3 well-equipped apartments. The house is surrounded by wild romantic nature, it couldn't be more beautiful. But the best part is the landlady Benny (Sabine). A wonderful woman, always friendly, a dream chef, a dog whisperer, tour guide, excursion advisor, psychologist, and much more. Thank you dear Benny! The special thing is that you don't just rent a vacation rental. You receive exceptionally good care - depending on your preference with advice, tips, travel guides, or maps. Benny's wonderful food can only be praised and highly recommended. Also, her husband is extremely likeable, and you immediately feel like you have known each other for a long time. It's also perfect for dogs. The landlord's dogs are very sweet. Our dog had the best playmate in Leo and was busy all day. We were fortunate to have lots of fun with the other guests. Traumurlaub bei Benny

Dream vacation in the Ligurian mountains with a wonderful view. Not only can you enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets in the sensational peace, but Benny is the best hostess I can imagine. She always has an open ear, good advice regarding activities in the area. You feel welcomed with open arms and almost forget the homesickness for the pets left at home because Benny's dogs are so nice and occasionally ready to cuddle. The apartments leave nothing to be desired, and the culinary reception with richly prepared Ligurian cuisine leaves nothing to be desired either. The harmony and fun we had even during some evening gatherings with a glass of wine with other guests almost reminds one of a large happy family. I am sure we have not spent our last vacation there. Gladly again!

We - 2 people with an adult son - felt very comfortable at Casa Capinera. Sabine welcomed us very warmly. We highly recommend the pasta welcome evening on Saturday and the brunch early on Sunday! Sabine cooks deliciously and we could start our holiday week comfortably. The supermarket towards Imperia is open until late on Sundays, so we went shopping comfortably then. The location of the house is fantastic. From here, walks and hikes are possible directly. Sabine has extensive maps available for borrowing! In short: It was a very relaxing and great week for us. I think you should be a dog lover to feel relaxed and comfortable, as Leo and Hugo run freely on the property. However, we immediately fell in love with them and enjoyed spending time with them.

A quiet paradise, here one may be...

The house is situated with a magnificent view of the mountains and plenty of space to relax. Benny, the landlady, is warm-hearted and makes you feel well taken care of. Always a pleasure!

We have already been to Benny's Casa Capinera three times this year. As always, everything was great! When we arrived, the apartment was already nicely heated (end of October in the Ligurian mountains makes sense). The apartments are all very tastefully and cosily furnished. Great view of the Ligurian mountains. Very quiet location. Nice for hiking or just relaxing. If one were to nitpick, then maybe the only thing missing is a nice café around the corner where one could stop by quickly. But that is just the flip side of the super idyllic and calm location:-)

We spent a week of autumn holidays with our three children at Casa Capinera and felt very comfortable and welcome with Benny, Ugu, and Leo. Ein perfekter Urlaub

We stayed at Benny's place for two weeks in September 2016 - everything was just perfect for us! It started with a very warm and personal welcome by the hostess. When we entered the apartment, we noticed the practical room layout and the tasteful interior design, the cleanliness was impeccable. We slept wonderfully on the still quite new mattresses! The outdoor area with its various seating and lounging options leaves nothing to be desired. Due to the natural and very quiet location, we quickly forgot about everyday life. Benny always has time for wishes and questions, an open ear, and is ready to help. Our insider tip: The Ligurian evening, during which you will be pampered with culinary delights, good wine, a great view of the mountain landscape, and a cozy atmosphere. Those who vacation here can enjoy everything, beautiful beaches with clean water, picturesque towns and mountain villages, and varied hiking trails. City trips to Monte Carlo, Genoa, or Nice are easily possible from here; unfortunately, we only managed the first due to time constraints. Another reason to come back... Nature-loving vacationers looking for variety and individual, personal care are in good hands here. For party animals, this might not be the best location due to its setting, but definitely worth the trip!

Unforgettable vacation!

Away from the usual tourist hustle and bustle, we were able to enjoy a wonderful holiday at Casa Capinera. Benny and Hugo captured our hearts, and by the end of the week, we didn't want to leave. The sea is not far away, and there is also a river nearby where you can swim wonderfully. My ten-year-old daughter didn't even complain about boredom, the apartment is lovingly furnished, the view from the bedroom to the mountains is breathtaking, and Benny's hospitality is simply priceless. An apartment with connection :-))

We were extremely pleased with Casa Capinera in the Ligurian mountains! Starting with a warm welcome from Benny and her husband, Benny accompanied us with many attentions throughout the whole vacation. Vegetables, fruit, and small delicacies were placed on our garden table for us to taste. Our young dog (5 months) felt at home in no time, she could freely roam around the huge property and sneak into Benny's huge heart!! We were able to enjoy tips and cheerful evenings with other guests. Benny's fabulous cooking is a must! You have a great view from Casa Capinera of the mountains and also from our terrace, where you could always sit comfortably protected. Unbeatable outdoor breakfast! The holiday apartment, very separate, is lovingly furnished and pleasantly cool, which is very important for sleeping in the summer! Cozy holiday apartment with loving details - a dreamy time

With a warm welcome from Benny the hostess, her husband from Munich, and dog Hugo, everything started, and we felt at home for the second time at Benny's Casa Capinera in the Ligurian mountains. Holiday with two Bobtails and also a paradise for the two fluffballs. Benny's cooking skills spoiled us on several days, and all we can say is: "Thank you, Benny!" The barbecue evening was also a culinary dream. The holiday apartment left nothing to be desired, and with small decorated flowers, roses, and wine for the welcome, our three weeks of vacation were an experience. Benny is so warm-hearted and helps where she can, whether it's a hurt dog paw, excursion tips, or shopping advice. For people who love peace in nature, want to go to the sea, but don't need hustle and bustle, it's just right. We felt at home and feared the day of departure. In the morning, still in bed at Casa Capinera, the first glimpse of the Maritime Alps, unforgettable evenings with fireflies and stars in the evening sky, and not to forget in the Ligurian mountains the many voices of birds, especially the call of the cuckoo and the ringing of the bells of wild horses in the distance. . . we will gladly come back. We spent a week in the dreamy mountains. Benny is a great host who is always there to help but never intrusive. She cooked us wonderful Ligurian meals. From the house, there are plenty of activities to do, and in the evening, we enjoyed heavenly peace and pleasant air. We felt super comfortable all around.

Arrive and feel at home.

Warm welcome upon arrival with a welcome drink.
Having breakfast outdoors with a view of the mountains at pleasant temperatures was a highlight every day. Since the landlady lives in the same house, she was always there to help us with advice and support. Her tips and suggestions were always spot on. But the tranquility was also soothing for body and soul.
Swimming in the river or in the sea, or cycling on the old railway track to San Remo were highlights of this trip. We will come back again, as many excursions are still pending. Many thanks to Benny, the host, and to the dear farm dog Hugo.

Relaxation in the Ligurian mountains.

After a warm welcome with a cool drink, we and our dog felt very comfortable. We found a place to relax and unwind for almost two weeks here. Beautiful excursions to the surrounding towns and the seaside. Unforgettable were the tours over the mountain passes with the stunning scenic views, which could also be enjoyed and explored from the house. Benny is always a good contact person for tips on excursions in the area and always provided plenty of hiking maps and travel guides. A highlight was enjoying Benny's cooking skills. Will gladly come back!

Fantastischer Urlaub

Our holiday at Casa Capinera can only be described as fantastic and wonderful. Situated wonderfully in nature and the mountains with incredible views, yet not far from the sea and tourist highlights, one can escape into an oasis of peace. We had wonderful evenings and enjoyed Benny's magnificent cooking in the company of very nice people and had Benny as the best hostess one could wish for. Erholung pur

In the midst of vast and nearly untouched nature, this domicile is a true oasis. From the first moment, one feels welcome and can forget about everyday worries. The children were not bored either. If there is a danger, there is plenty to experience in the nearby and slightly further surroundings. One should not miss the excellent cuisine of the hostess. In short, it was a completely successful vacation that left nothing to be desired! We will definitely come back!

Fantastic vacation!!!

We had a very nice holiday in nature. Dreamy sunsets in the mountains, healthy food with ingredients from the garden, and a very accommodating hostess, including excursion tips. Warm atmosphere

For years, I have been vacationing here in Liguria. This year, I spent a week over Easter at Casa Capinera, which was recommended to me by friends. The accommodation, the fantastic view of the Ligurian Alps, and the good food were absolutely top-notch. But by far the most special thing about this accommodation is Benny, the landlady. She knows how to create an unconventional and warm atmosphere among the guests. (especially since it can still be cold here at Easter)

Great apartment in an idyllic location

We spent a week in Casa Capinera with our dogs. Everything is very spacious, the apartment, the entire grounds, and the house. The dogs were allowed to run freely directly around the house and were very welcome.
The owner is super nice. She prepared a delicious menu for us on the first evening and always has tips for things to do in the area.
The house is located in a secluded area and is very quiet. We would love to come back.

It was just a little detour, but the impression is lasting! In the midst of lush nature, wonderful views, lovingly furnished rooms, and on top of that, you are cooked for like a god in... Dreamy idyll in the Ligurian mountains close to the sea.

We spent a wonderful week at Casa Capinera. The location is a dream, nestled idyllically in the mountains with breathtaking views and tranquility. Ideal for relaxing in nature. Despite this unique location, the sea with all its attractions is quickly accessible. Other interesting places are also easily reachable. The apartments are spacious, lovingly and tastefully furnished, cozy, and equipped with everything you need. The landlady is super friendly, likable, uncomplicated, and knows about 1 million tips in the area. And she cooks like an Italian world champion. Our 8-year-old child felt extremely comfortable from the first moment and enjoyed the freedom to romp around everywhere. Conclusion: Everything perfect! Without reservation, 5 out of 5 points!

Great holiday beautiful location

The house is in a lovely location with beautiful villages built on steep hills and ravines. Medieval towns such as Albenga and the seaside are easy to reach.the local food is delicious with many small restaurants to explore.
Benny is a great very friendly host and you will immediately feel at home. Her knowledge of the area will help you to explore the region. I loved her cooking and if you have the opportunity try it. The facilities in the house are excellent and the views whilst perhaps having a barbecue are wonderbar.

Ein Traum

It was unforgettable days in October. I roamed the mountain wilderness for hours with my dog. In the evenings, after a sumptuous meal, there were many conversations by the fireplace. Or, with a glass of wine, the view over the mountains to the already snow-capped Maritime Alps. A dream. And that tranquility. Other than bird songs and strange noises of animals I didn't know. Yet, all of this was surpassed by the warm hospitality of Mrs. Kury. Longing for home, I was overcome with a sense of homesickness for the Casa di Capinera.

Since 2007 we have been guests at Casa Capinera several times a year. With the new hostess Benny, there are of course no language barriers anymore, on the contrary, there is always help when your own Italian is not sufficient for inquiries. The friendly, family atmosphere at Casa is shaping. You immediately feel comfortable. The olive grove where the house is located offers relaxation and adventure at the same time. Depending on the season, there may be ... There are even fruits and vegetables to harvest. The view is breathtaking. Loving care and support

Great reception with welcome beers and soft drinks for the little ones, clean and cozy apartment with terrace and barbecue (perfect for relaxing evenings with a view of the mountains), plenty of nature all around that you can explore right outside the door, tips for activities in the mountains (swimming spots by the river, canyoning, flea market, Cucina Bianca) and by the sea (whale-watching, beaches, markets). And then a great dinner menu evening. An all-around successful vacation!

A wealth of possibilities.

Here everyone finds an oasis of peace and relaxation when watching the sun slowly set behind the mountains in the evening while enjoying a glass of wine.
We have enjoyed our time here and have tried to discover the richness of Liguria in 18 days. We were able to visit many picturesque mountain villages and small fishing villages by the sea. But also the beautiful cities like Genoa, Albenga, Imperia with Porto Mauricio along the Palm Riviera over San Remo, the wonderful Bussana Vecchia on the Flower Riviera up to France with Nice and Monaco each have their individual charms. And we could reach all these places in 30 minutes to a good hour of driving time. A completely different highlight for us was also a day at the azure blue Mediterranean in between. And that's not all, it is even possible to go for hikes directly from the house. So, our vacation days were not enough for us to fully explore all the possibilities the region offers. And all this in a spotlessly clean accommodation with the caring and dedicated host Sabine Benny Kury, who is always available with advice, assistance, and vegetables from her own garden.

A well-kept, new house in the Ligurian mountains at an unbeatably low price. A warm and sociable hostess who made a tremendous effort for us. We felt very comfortable in the Ligurian mountains. In the middle of the mountains yet close to the sea with incredibly beautiful excursion destinations: San Remo, Dolcedo, a picturesque Ligurian village, Bussana de Vecchio, an enchanted artist's village, and more... Simply feel good.

Just arrived, we were already sitting on the terrace with our welcome beer in the bright sunshine and a view of the still snow-covered Maritime Alps. The landlord's tips were great, whether for a day at the beach or the quaint little restaurant Lavinella in the mountains. And of course, we were most impressed by the motocross race. Perfect for a small group

The four of us, with our drums, reached Casa Capinera after a tiring journey. After fueling up on pasta, we tried out our drums right away in the spacious garden. It was a great feeling! So far-reaching with a view of the valley, almost magical. The apartments are cozy and, above all, spacious and bright, located in the middle of the green Ligurian nature. Echtes Italien

The small villages clinging to the cliffs, with their quaint alleyways, particularly captured our hearts. Thanks to the advice of our wonderful host, we also discovered all the hidden little restaurants serving authentic Italian menus. The house and garden are a haven of peace, except perhaps for the chirping crickets. Viele Aktivitäten

We really enjoyed the proximity to the sea, but particularly the tranquility in the evening in the spacious garden while grilling with a view of the mountains and the setting sun. Shopping is great at the markets in Oneglia or Porto Maurizio or in the nearby medieval town of Pieve di Teco. Above all, the landlady helped us to truly immerse ourselves in Italian life with her delicious pasta on the first evening or a real Ligurian meal at the farewell. And we managed to get through the only rainy day thanks to Wi-Fi and German television, as well as a visit to the Olive Oil Museum. The next vacation is already booked for sure.

Tolles Angebot

We, a group of 6 bike enthusiasts, were first overwhelmed by the ample space in the apartment and the storage options for our bikes. Here, you don't sit on top of each other, instead, everyone can find a quiet spot in the huge garden. But what really excited us the most was the vast array of mountain bike trails around the house. Road cyclists also had a great time with hills and valleys right outside the door. In the evening, we fired up the barbecue and enjoyed the end of the day. And thanks to German television, we didn't have to miss our sports program in the living room. See you soon!

Something for everyone.

With the family, it's always somewhat difficult to find a common residence. But in Casa Capinera, everything is there: a large garden for children to explore, deck chairs and a barbecue area for the adults, and hiking trails right at the doorstep. The beaches are not far away, but in the evening, everyone is happy to have a quiet spot in the greenery. The children especially liked the beautiful beds in their room, and us adults enjoyed the peace on the comfortable sofa in the evening. Thank you for this great apartment!

Great dog vacation

Not only did the two-legged guests have plenty of space here, but our dog was also warmly welcomed, of course, with a treat right away.
