The lake view house, holiday home in southern Sweden situated directly on Lake Kiasjön - a dream location ! The house, built around the 19th century, has been renovated several times - most recently completely renewed, inside and out in 21/22 and today has all the amenities you would expect in a holiday home in Sweden. On the terrace you will enjoy a magnificent view of Lake Kiasjön and the sun will indulge you until the afternoon hours. It is only a few steps to the jetty at the water's edge. A paradise for anglers. Two neighbouring houses in the immediate vicinity are not disturbing, if you want you can get in touch with the other guests but you can also avoid each other. Common campfire evenings at the lake have sealed many a holiday acquaintance.

Location and surroundings of object
The lake view holiday home is located on a peninsula called KIANÄS. Kianäs is in the middle of Småland, southern Sweden. A few km away you will find the small village of Fagerhult. From the terrace you can enjoy a beautiful lake view. A small gravel path leads to the peninsula. The peninsula is approx. 1 sq. km and it is surrounded by the approx. 200 ha large lake Kiasjön
The lake property is approx. 8000 sqm. There are three more of our holiday homes by the lake in Sweden here. (manor house, museum house and summer house). The lake is directly in front of the front door (a sauna for all four houses is directly at the water, own rowing boat and jetty). From the jetty you can get into the water by means of a bathing ladder. If you like sandy beaches, you can row about 20 minutes to the small sandy/gravel beach opposite.
The KIANÄS peninsula is quietly embedded in Lake KIASJÖN in southern Sweden. There are no roads, railway lines, airports or any other disturbing noises. Relax and enjoy your holiday in this unique peace and nature. In the immediate vicinity you will find opportunities for berry and mushroom picking. You can hike or cycle without meeting anyone. If the weather is bad, you can use the sauna right by the lake. Anglers hunt the pike, perch and zander here. The lake is known for its large stock of zander. The fishing permit costs about €30 a week.
You can park your car about 40 m from the house. You can drive up to 10 m from the house to load and unload your car. The small town of Fagerhult is only 8 km from the holiday home.
From here it takes about 45 minutes by car to Oskarshamn on the east coast and about 1 hour to Kalmar. Vimmerby, the birthplace of Astrid Lindgren, is about 70 minutes by car.

Rather something for anglers
We (2+3) stayed in Haus Seeblick in July 2019.
The bathroom was tiny, the small single room was a disaster with a tiny window and a hole in the ceiling. There was a wasp's nest behind the house boarding which made the breakfast move inside. There is a good corner shop in Fagerhult.
