Description
The manor house, built approx. 1850, has been renovated several times - most recently extensively in 2020/21 - and brought up to the latest standard. Large kitchen with new fitted kitchen and additional original wood cooker and view of the lake Kiasjön, adjoining the living room with access to the lake terrace, tiled cooker, flat screen TV and German channels.
The bathroom has recently been redesigned and is completely tiled. There are three bedrooms on the upper floor
The lake is only thirty metres away. From the lake terrace you have a fantastic view of the lake. On the waterfront is a large jetty for 4 houses, rowing boats and the sauna.
You can't get more typically Swedish than this - try it out!

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is situated directly on the lake Kiasjö. There are three more of our holiday homes (museum house, lake view and summer house) on the approx. 8000 sqm lake property. It is only a few steps to the lake (sauna, own rowing boat and jetty). Here you can get into the water from the bathing ladder or you can row for about 20 minutes to the sand/gravel beach opposite.
Here on this peninsula you are far away from any hustle and bustle, road traffic or other unpleasant noises. Enjoy the peace and nature in the immediate vicinity. Here you can pick mushrooms and berries, hike without meeting people, swim without any crowds, ride a bike, take a sauna This is also a paradise for anglers. Besides pike and perch, there are zander in this lake. The fishing permit costs about €30 a week.
The holiday home can be reached directly by car, the car park is 30 m in front of the house. Loading and unloading can be done directly in front of the house.
In Fagerhult, approx. 8 km away, there are small shopping facilities. If you want to go to the Baltic Sea to Oskarshamn you need about 1 hour, also to Kalmar. The town of Vimmerby, known as the birthplace of Astrid Lindgren, is about 75 km away.
The manor house - our own private holiday home in Sweden - is situated on the peninsula KIANÄS, in the middle of Småland, southern Sweden, about 8 km from the small town Fagerhult (about halfway between the towns Oskarshamn and Växjö. A small private road leads to this peninsula of approx. 1 sq. km. The peninsula is surrounded by the approx. 200 ha large lake Kiasjön, which extends over approx. 10 sq km.

Other rowing boats, canoes, kayaks, motors or life jackets can be rented from us. We also rent some good bicycles and e-bikes.
All bedrooms are equipped with mosquito nets against uninvited guests
