Description
We rent out a detached holiday home on a 600 m2 plot at Lake Gobenow for up to 6 people (4 adults, 2 children) with a lockable private jetty (one side usable) and a small rowing boat. The property is partly fenced and is bordered on the other sides by a path and by forest. There is plenty of space to the neighbours. On the spacious covered terrace overlooking the lake, you are protected from prying eyes.
The holiday home has approx. 68 m² of living space. It is equipped with a cosy wood-burning stove for cooler days and has the following rooms:
-1 bedroom with double bed and bunk bed
-1 bedroom with double bed
-1 Living room with wood-burning stove for chilly days and two comfortable sofas incl. SAT-TV
-1 kitchen-cum-living-room with access to the terrace facing the lake
-1 Bathroom with double washbasin, shower and WC
A baby travel cot and high chair are available.
In the fully equipped kitchen you can cater for yourself with

Garden furniture and a gas barbecue are of course part of the outdoor equipment.
There is also a parking space directly in front of the house.

Location and surroundings of object
We rent out a cosy holiday home, framed in open nature, in Neu Canow on Lake Gobenow. Despite its quiet location, it is nevertheless centrally situated in the middle of the Mecklenburg Lake District. A Dorado for anglers, recreational captains, sports and active holidaymakers, families, dog owners - and all nature lovers! The Neu Canow holiday bungalow settlement is located between Canow and Wustrow on Lake Gobenow.
A well-stocked fishing shop and a small grocery shop are about 3 km away.
The idyllic Gobenowsee lake with the three bathing spots belonging to the bungalow settlement is about 50 metres away.
To reach the lake you only have to go downhill through a small piece of forest, there are several footpaths there and a well-built path that is passable by car. You can only reach the jetty on foot.
Motor boats are only allowed for residents. A slipway is available at the fisherman's in Canow.
There are connections to the Rätzsee and Labussee lakes via romantic canals. Especially interesting for water hikers: there is a direct connection to the Müritz-Havel waterway.
The network of cycle paths is very well developed. There is a direct connection from the resort to the Mecklenburg Lakes Cycle Route.
A large playground belongs to the holiday home settlement, where the youngest can let off steam.

Holiday home Seeblick (with the meaning of "lake view" in English)
In May, we stayed at the Seeblick vacation home. The vacation home has a beautiful terrace with a wonderful view of the lake. It is well-suited for four adults and a dog. We had mixed weather and used the fireplace every day. Unfortunately, there was no heating in the bathroom, which was uncomfortable, especially in the morning. Fishing opportunities are very good. The path to the lake, especially the return trip, is difficult for older people. One should not forget to bring mosquito spray for skin and house. We had a nice vacation. The peace and nature are especially beautiful.

Beautiful
With the heat this year, the water was the best place to be. Luckily, we had a large canoe at our disposal (there are two of us, but we can easily fit 3 people in it). The paddle tour to the Wesenberg family park on the Großer Labussee was great. The Schwanhavel is particularly beautiful. This year, however, it had so little water that we had to get out for a short while. But that wasn't so bad - just getting out into the cooling water and walking through the soft white sand is a bit like wellness. We stopped briefly at the Kanumühle mill and then continued to the Havelberge campsite, where we pitched our tent for the night. Very good restaurant! The next day we paddled a little further and called a taxi to pick us up with the canoe and take us home
It was a wonderful summer and a great place to stay!

Above average level
The house is top-equipped with everything you need, even more. Mrs Ebeling seems to be a perfectionist who leaves nothing to chance. We took a lot of things with us from experience and were amazed that everything had been thought of. And it was also very clean, cosy with a fireplace (of course including wood, kindling, lighter...) You can leave your fishing gear in the boat, everything is lockable. The lakes are natural and beautiful, although not deserted. Nevertheless, it was enough for 4 pike and a zander in the short week. Grilled (charcoal was there, of course) a feast. The marquise on the terrace is still not finished. If you need a motor for the boat, ask Markus, Bungalowsiedlung 123, approx. 200 m. It is better to buy groceries on the way there, the next Netto in Wesenberg is relatively far. Satisfied all round, happy to come back. Ilona and Jan from Dresden

Angeln
Das FH ist sehr schön, aber für Angler nicht so geeignet. Man muss seine ganzen Utensilien mit runter an den See nehmen und anschließend wieder mit hoch. Für Ruderfreunde ideal. Die Terasse bräuchte eine Überdachung,sonst kann mann sich bei den Temperaturen, wie wir sie hatten, nicht raus setzen. Mein Mann hatte zum Glück seinen Angelschirm mit, und der hat uns gute Dienste geleistet.
