Beautifully renovated and newly furnished holiday house

Whoever wants to experience a feel-good vacation with their dog is definitely in the right place in the holiday home. Our Appenzeller lady felt very comfortable and moved back and forth between the living room (on the comfortable dog bed provided), terrace, and garden. There is also plenty of space for her in the bedroom. After long walks, the owner and owners could settle down in the cozy living area in the evening... perfect!

Like it · The landlords were really very nice and had some interesting excursion destinations in the vicinity ready. The apartment is very tastefully furnished and in excellent condition! Pretty much everything you need for a stay is available, and even if you should have forgotten something, you will find a lot in the furnished apartment. This is what you wish for as a vacationer - and if we should be in the vicinity again, then always gladly again.

We had rented this apartment because it was explicitly advertised for dogs and for that, the apartment is perfect! That's just how it is. The terrace with the small fenced garden is great. Also, the fact that the car can be parked on the fenced property.
The beach chair at the dog beach is another highlight. Shopping possibilities and the beach are all easily accessible on foot.
But now I have to mention a few things that have annoyed us. It was not particularly clean. Cobwebs and dust bunnies everywhere in the corners. For example, the bedside lamps are very dusty (more gray than red). Furthermore, the living area was extremely worn out. The price / performance ratio does not fit at all.
We also think it is not too much to ask for toilet paper, garbage bags, and soap to be provided. This is simply part of the standard of a good vacation rental today.
We made the best of this situation and enjoyed the beautiful weather. We definitely would not rent there again!!

Cozy holiday home with a quiet location for rest and relaxation!

We felt once again at home in this clean and well-maintained vacation home right away. You can see the love and warmth that you have put into the furnishings and you have everything you need. With these exceptionally sympathetic, friendly, and helpful landlords with their super sweet dog, you simply feel comfortable. The accommodation has a great location for exploring the area. We sincerely thank you for your hospitality, which even comforted us during a sad loss and gave us many beautiful memories. You can comfortably end the day at this place. We will definitely be back! Vacation with our dog

A very beautiful holiday apartment in which nothing was missing. The special highlight is the free beach chair at the dog beach as well as the loving details in the apartment. We felt very comfortable. Thank you very much for the very warm welcome and the cute birthday surprise. If you want to live centrally in Grömitz, this is a very good place to stay. Thank you very much again for sending back the forgotten swimming gear. We would love to come here again.

Insufficient internet description

The holiday home is conveniently located between supermarkets, the beach, and the shopping street. Unfortunately, the description did not mention that a narrow spiral staircase leads up to the master bedroom. This was difficult for my husband, who has limited mobility, and impossible for the dog to navigate. Also, it was not mentioned that the adjacent apartment is separated from the living unit by only a wooden door, allowing for complete conversations to be overheard. Furthermore, the house was so soundproof that one could hear every noise from the next room, especially in the bedroom (footsteps, creaking floorboards, opening of drawers and cupboard doors, vibrating phone alarm, dog's paws running around...). The simple wooden window with ventilation slits in the bedroom let all outside noises in unfiltered. It sounded as if one was sleeping with an open window. Above all, the crunching of the gravel passageway in front of the house was audible at all times of day and night.
The TV reception was disturbed on many channels (pixelated image, choppy sound).
The dining and coffee tables were wobbly.
There were black dog hairs and long human hairs on the mattress protectors.
The glass front in the living room was covered in handprints and round marks from a rubber suction cup arrow. In the kitchen and bedroom, there were cobwebs on the ceiling and behind the nightstand, where the light switch was, everything was full of dust.
Toilet paper, dish brush, and cleaning cloth for keeping the sinks clean must be brought along. Also, a bath mat is needed for the bathroom.
And the curtain in the bedroom should be properly hung. It sags where two rings are missing. Overall, it's alright, but there is definitely room for improvement and not suitable for people who want to sleep in peace.

Super holiday home
Congratulations on this holiday home! You can't furnish a holiday home more lovingly. Completely equipped with everything your heart desires, you can only congratulate the landlords. It couldn't be cleaner and better maintained. Add to that the cordiality and helpfulness - super! We award 10 out of 5 possible points.
Conclusion: Top location, super well maintained, top service.
We will gladly come back and can only warmly recommend this holiday home to dog owners.

A big thank you for the great time

Dear Buschjost family,
A huge thank you for the wonderful time we were able to spend with you. We felt very comfortable with you, nothing was missing, the house is super beautiful, spacious enough for all of us, and it was very clean. You are great landlords who are dedicated with heart and soul. The children and the dog felt very comfortable in the large garden.
The house is beautifully located and quiet, yet everything is within reach. It was a wonderful vacation, and we would love to come back.

Super

We can only say that we liked it very much at Haus Strandkorb 03. We were thrilled. Plenty of space for a family with a dog. The fenced garden is ideal for dogs. The house is centrally located and easy to reach all places. The flat is very clean and tastefully furnished with everything you need. Everything you need is available. The location is very central to the village centre and great dog beach with free beach chair. We can use this. Many thanks to family Buschjost for this beautiful holiday accommodation, we will be happy to come back

Das Ferienhaus liegt günstig zwischen Supermärkten, Strand und Einkaufsstraße. Leider wurde in der Beschreibung nicht erwähnt dass eine enge Wendeltreppe zum Elternschlafzimmer hoch führt. Diese war für meinen gehbehinderten Mann nur schwierig und für den Hund runterzus gar nicht zu bewältigen. Auch wurde nicht erwähnt, dass die Fewo nebenan nur durch eine Holzzimmertür von der Wohneinheit getrennt ist. Man konnte komplette Gespräche mithören. Außerdem war das Haus so hellhörig, dass man vor allem im Schlafzimmer jedes Geräusch von nebenan mitbekam (Schritte, Dielenknarzen, Öffnen von Schubladen und Schranktüren, Vibrationsalarm vom Handy, Pfotengetrappel des Hundes...). Das einfache Holzfenster mit Lüftungsschlitzen im Schlafzimmer ließ sämtliche Geräusche von außen ungefiltert herein. Es hörte sich an, als würde man bei offenem Fenster schlafen. Vor allem das Knirschen des Kiesdurchgangsweges vor dem Haus war zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit hörbar. Der Fernsehempfang war auf vielen Kanälen gestört (verpixeltes Bild, abgehackter Ton). Der Ess- und der Couchtisch haben gewackelt. Auf den Matratzenschonern waren schwarze Hundehaare und langes Menschenhaar. Die Glasfront im Wohnzimmer war voller Handabdrücke und runder Flecken von einem Gumminoppenpfeil. In Küche und Schlafzimmer waren Spinnweben an der Decke und hinter dem Nachtisch, wo der Lichtschalter hing war alles voller Staub. Toilettenpapier, Spülbürste und Wischlappen zum Sauberhalten der Waschbecken sind selber mitzubringen. Ebenso eine Fußmatte fürs Bad. Und die Gardine im Schlafzimmer müsste mal ordentlich aufgehangen werden. Da wo zwei Ringe fehlen, hängt sie durch. Im Großen und Ganzen zwar okay, aber durchaus noch verbesserungsfähig und nichts für Menschen, die gerne in Ruhe schlafen wollen.
