The Steirer-Hof is situated with an unobstructed view and without direct neighbours in the small tranquil village of Asel, approx. 800 m from Lake Edersee. Here you can enjoy the fantastic view of the forest and meadows. The village of Asel and Asel Bay have no through roads and are located far away from traffic noise in a dead-end street.
The village of Vöhl is about 1 km away from Asel and can be reached quickly on foot or by bicycle, even in the morning to fetch bread rolls. There you will find more restaurants, a newly built 800 sqm Edeka supermarket, an adventure swimming pool with sauna facilities, a savings bank and EC machine as well as medical care and a pharmacy.

Again and again with pleasure
We (mum, dad, two children and a dog) stayed with the Putzmann family for the second time. The first year we spent in the hunting lodge. That was when we were one child less. The hunting lodge is fantastically furnished and very cosy. You want for nothing. This year we stayed in the log cabin. We walked in and said "we're home". It was great
The kitchen is well equipped and you can cook just like at home. The layout of the rooms and the way they are decorated is simply cosy. You can feel completely at home here. The four-legged friend didn't miss out either. There are plenty of forest paths right outside the front door.
We will definitely come again.

"Great house, nice landlords"
We felt right at home in the log cabin. It is tastefully furnished and equipped with many extras. Everything is very clean.
You can go on many day trips in the area or enjoy the peace and quiet with a view of the countryside by the fireplace.
Nice, totally uncomplicated, helpful and pet-friendly landlords.
We can recommend the house and would be happy to come back.

Pure nature in a wooden house with a feel-good effect
As soon as we opened the door and noticed the smell of wood, we knew we would feel very comfortable. Everything is very tastefully furnished to a high standard and lovingly decorated. There was really nothing missing. We felt at home immediately. You notice that the hosts take their role very seriously. They were always helpful with tips and we felt in good hands all around. The surroundings are also very beautiful and quiet. Pure nature! The house is on the upper edge of the village and you open the door and can start hiking straight away. For us with a dog, it was a dream. We will definitely be back and have already booked our next holiday. Simply TOP!

Feel-good ambience
We (my wife, me and our Labi) spent a wonderful week in this gem, the cottage is beautifully furnished and lacks absolutely nothing for two people! If it should be a little bit bigger I would have a look at the Canada house (it is right next to it), on the day of our departure we had the possibility to have a look at the house from the inside, I have to say that the Putzmann family has really fulfilled a lifelong dream and rents it out as well, it is oversized for two people but we would still rent it next time, we will be back!
The contact with the Putzmann family was uncomplicated and very nice, enquiries and other questions were answered immediately

A great family vacation
Located on the outskirts of Vöhl-Asel, the house already offers a visual experience. The decor is loving and very extensive. From here you can start many activities or simply relax. If you want, you can also engage in sports, such as table tennis, swimming, or cycling. The granddaughters also went horseback riding in Vöhl - so no boredom! The people are also very nice and friendly - you feel well taken care of.
We would like to thank you again for the beautiful vacation home and would love to come back sometime!
