Holiday home on the beautiful East Frisian North Sea coast in Neßmersiel.
Our holiday home is located in a quiet residential street. A parking space is directly at the house.
The bakery/supermarket is within walking distance (opening hours depend on the season).
The Sturmfrei and the wellness oasis are also approx. 600 m from the house.
The distance to the harbour and the beach is approx.
Nessmersiel is located 5 km northwest of Dornum, directly behind the dyke. It lies at an altitude of 0 NN. The harbour, originally built around 1570, from which grain and rape were shipped to Bremen, Hamburg, Holland and Norway, silted up due to dyking for land reclamation and had to be abandoned around 1700. It was moved closer to the sea, but by 1930 it was no longer navigable. It was not until 1969/70 that a ferry harbour was built, from which Baltrum is served. From 1885 to 1977, Nessmersiel belonged to the district of Norden. Since 2001, Nessmersiel has belonged to the municipality of Dornum. In July 2006, the 20th anniversary of the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park was celebrated on the beach at Nessmersiel. Nessmersiel has a lot to offer. On our website you will find numerous photos of our own undertakings.

Excellent accommodation!
We were three people in the house (Eiderentenweg) in the autumn of 2017 and can only recommend it. We have never rented accommodation before that was so perfectly furnished. Attention to detail was given to every little thing, whether in the kitchen equipment or toys for the little ones. The beach chair is really great too! The contact with the landlady was perfect and smooth, questions were answered promptly!
