Description
In the climatic health resort of Eging am See, in the foothills of the Bavarian Forest between Deggendorf and Passau, lies this unique barrier-free 5-star (DTV) bungalow with 3 bedrooms for a total of 6 people. The building was constructed in 2014 and is located in an absolutely quiet new development area far away from through roads on a plot of approx. 900sqm.
The house is particularly suitable for family holidays with up to 3 generations with mobility-impaired family members who are dependent on walking aids or wheelchairs.
The usable area of the flat has sqm and consists of a spacious living room with adjoining open kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, vestibule and guest toilet. 2 bedrooms are equipped with a double bed each, 1 bedroom with a double bunk bed.
All rooms have underfloor heating and electric shutters (except WC). One bedroom is equipped with fly screens. The terrace is south and west facing and has an area >80sqm, 16sqm of which are covered with a glass roof with awning. All interior doors have 90cm passage width, the bathroom is well suited for wheelchair users and consists of barrier-free shower with wall seat, 2 washbasins and WC. The interior doors have increased sound insulation class as well as the interior walls to the bedrooms.
Flat-screen TV, stereo system, WLAN with internet access are just as much part of the equipment as books and games. A travel cot and a high chair are available for small children.
In the garden of the holiday home, there is a pool for shared use (depending on the weather, from mid-May to mid-September).

The plot is located in the heart of a quiet new housing estate far from through roads with a view over part of the estate to a wooded area. There is a small children's playground within sight. The state-approved climatic health resort of Eging - nestled in the southern foothills of the Bavarian Forest, only about 30 km from Passau - is a family-friendly place where good quality living is a top priority. With its bathing facilities and sandy beach, the lake offers the best bathing opportunities in summer as well as ice skating and curling in winter. The thermal baths with their wellness area invite you to take a cure all year round. One of the big attractions is the western town "Pullmann City", the largest of its kind in Europe. All daily needs can be met in numerous shops in the village. The local gastronomy is characterised by a great variety and extensive offer.

Cancellation terms:
Free cancellation possible up to 90 days before the arrival date.
Cancellation fees: 10% if cancelled less than 90 days, 30% if cancelled less than 60 days, 60% if cancelled less than 30 days before the respective booking costs. If government regulations prevent you from arriving, cancellation is free of charge and you will receive your deposit back.

3 carefree weeks from 12.08. - 12.09.2020 in the Kranert holiday home
We are a family of 3, 2 of them need: E-wheelchair, rollator and manual wheelchair. The Kranert family already did everything in the preparation to accommodate our situation. The reception, the care during the stay and the farewell were very friendly. The whole holiday home is modern and bright in its design outside and inside, the wonderful large windows contribute their part. The shading is operated by state-of-the-art computer technology. Don't worry, Mr. Kranert explains it in simple steps, so that it is understandable even for those who don't have a PC. The interior design is modern, the accessories simply beautiful and fitting. In addition to the 3 bedrooms and a guest toilet, there is a very large bathroom that is also ideally equipped for wheelchair users. On the huge glass-framed terrace there are numerous comfortable seats and a large table. Carport and garage are included. Everything in this holiday home is very clean and tidy. Anyone who has a similar "home" can consider themselves lucky.
5 stars are simply too few for this holiday paradise!

For our winter vacation (9 days in January), we decided this time not to stay in a hotel but in a holiday home, namely the one belonging to the Kranert family. This was the best decision of the winter. The house, located in a quiet residential area in Eging, is a gem. Due to its high-quality modern amenities (accessible), it was rightfully and naturally awarded 5 stars. Wellness vacation in the Bavarian Forest
Well-equipped and clean holiday home, with very charming landlords. Personal welcome and farewell, each with delicious homemade cookies. We will definitely come back at some point.

Best holiday home ever
At the Kranert family's, the vacation starts right on the first day. One is warmly welcomed with homemade cookies, and in the wheelchair-accessible house, nothing is missing. Sufficient brochures for various excursions, hikes, etc., are put together for you. We felt comfortable all around, as we did some years before, and we will definitely come back. On the day of departure, the Kranert family bid us farewell with delicious cookies for a good journey home, and we are already looking forward to seeing them again.

Holiday in Eging am See
We spent a wonderful vacation with our grandson in this beautiful and modernly furnished house. The furnishings and equipment are excellent, and everything is available for a pleasant and relaxing holiday. We were warmly welcomed by the Kranert family and felt at home. In addition, we had very nice and sunny weather so we could enjoy the lovely terrace. We will gladly come back.
