Description
`Mar y montanya`, sea and mountains are present in our spacious, bright holiday home anywhere. Greenery on a hill between Blanes (5 km) and Tordera (5 km), our house is situated ideal location for recreation and family activities, as well as centrally located starting point for a variety of activities in the area (Pyrenees, beaches of the Costa Brava and Maresme, Barcelona , the medieval Girona and more)
The house was renovated in 2014, all the building services was renewed, and installed central heating, which allows a comfortable year-round use of the house.
It offers upstairs two double bedrooms, a single bedroom and a bathroom with tub / shower. The large kitchen, as well as the living / dining room is also located on the upper floor is equipped with all household appliances and related accessories that facilitate the supply of a larger number of people (ceramic hob, new dishwasher, microwave, large fridge, freezer, American coffee machine, kettle, toaster, and other small appliances). It offers enough storage space for groceries and a small breakfast bar for 4 people. Next to the kitchen is a terrace with extendable dining table for up to 8 people. From the kitchen you have direct access to the large living-dining room, which is divided into the dining area with large, also extendable dining table for up to 10 people and seat-reading corner by the fireplace. From this room you have a 180-degree panoramic views of sea and mountains and access to another terrace with various seating.
In the basement there is another double bedroom (2 single beds), a single bedroom, a shower room, and another large living / TV room are with a large covered terrace. Here are also a washing machine, ironing board and iron available.
The south-facing, 1,000 m² large, partly newly created, partly natural garden offers several seating areas and play / open spaces. Garden and all terraces are equipped with garden furniture. A barbecue and a table tennis table are available.
A small part of the garden is currently used as a fruit and vegetable garden. Depending on the season and "gardener happiness" you can harvest vegetables and herbs from our own garden.
A lockable gate connects the house with the neighboring property, there is the 4 by 10 meters large salt water pool, which is used by only two parties, the holiday guests (9:00 to 20:30) and landlords. Around the pool there are again several terraces, which are equipped with sun loungers and chairs, benches and tables. A hot and cold water shower is also installed.

Location and surroundings of object
The house is quietly but conveniently located between Tordera (Sunday Market) and Blanes (fishing harbor, botanical garden, beaches ... here the Costa Brava begins) .The nearest beaches are within about 10 minutes. After Girona (University City, slipped old city center), pass along the NII for about 35 minutes, its airport just 25 minutes. After Barcelona, the highlight of the nearby area (Gaudi, opera, museums, shopping, nightlife, football, etc.) you can take the car about 45 minutes or from Blanes something "comfortable" with the train passing many, often historical resorts with typical modernist art nouveau, whose visit is quite recommendable.
It's worth it, especially in summer, a trip into the mountainous hinterland, zBin the national park "Mont Negre" which starts immediately after Tordera, or even in the Pyrenees. Sant Daniel is a small hamlet in the town Tordera and located in the countryside between farms and forest on a hill facing the sea. Within walking distance are a restaurant and a hostel / restaurant, which also offers tennis courts (about 1km). there are 2 stables (approx. km) in the vicinity. The nearest supermarkets are about 5 km at the entrance of Blanes.
Popular with the locals is the hermitage "Ermita el Vilar", which is also within walking distance.
Meanwhile, many biking and hiking trails are well marked around Sant Daniel.

Everything marvelous! Very satisfied!
The vacation house in Tordera is a great accommodation for the whole family. It offers a lot of space, is well equipped, clean, and well located. There are three terraces/balconies where you can always find a sunny or shady spot. The large pool offers the perfect refreshment and can be quickly reached through a garden gate. It takes only 15 minutes by car to get to the beach in Blanes. In the evening, you can visit the various restaurants & bars there - there is something for every taste. The landlords are extremely accommodating, hospitable, and helpful. They are very familiar with the area and give good tips for various activities. We felt very comfortable and would always come back!

A relaxing family vacation, just as one wishes.
We, as a family, spent two wonderful weeks in the vacation house on the Costa Brava, which is rented out by the Hilgert family. The view from the balcony was simply beautiful. The house itself was tastefully decorated and we lacked nothing.
The kitchen was very well equipped, which allowed us to prepare some delicious meals. The rooms were comfortable and inviting, making us feel at home. The location of the vacation house was perfect for exploring the beauty of the Costa Brava. We went on excursions to the charming villages along the coast, explored coves, and visited historical landmarks. The Hilgert family gave us great tips for our excursions, which we greatly appreciated.
All in all, we spent a wonderful family vacation in the Hilgert family's vacation house. The warm hospitality, the impressive view, and the perfect location made our vacation on the Costa Brava something special. We can highly recommend this vacation house and are already looking forward to returning someday.

For us it was a perfect holiday.
We have found a very beautiful, perfectly equipped and lovingly furnished house in a quiet location with a great natural garden and very nice and warm landlords. The view of the sea was fantastic. The pool, reachable through the garden, was beautiful. By car, the beach and shops could be reached in 10 minutes. Our conclusion: Two weeks vacation in a top-equipped house with garden and pool, very friendly and helpful landlords. We felt the relaxation immediately. It's a pity that time always flies by so quickly. Many thanks to Angelika and Bernd Hilger!

Holiday with dog
After 12 wonderful days, our holiday is unfortunately already over. The house has a great view of the sea and the first few days we were even able to watch the fireworks. We and our dogs received a very warm welcome. The Hilger family was very friendly and cordial. They were able to give us many useful tips and always helped us when we had questions. The pool and garden are beautiful and designed with great attention to detail. The house is also lovingly furnished and we wanted for nothing. There are many possibilities to stay around and in the house.

Secret tip with sea view.
Our family with 3 children and a dog are thrilled, our expectations were exceeded. The house, the property, the pool, the sea view, and the surroundings create a combination that is probably not often found so quickly. Everything was perfect 100%. In addition, there are plenty of tips, information, and assistance from the truly warm hosts Angelika and Bernd, if desired. We have taken advantage of this lively, for which we would like to thank you very much again. What more is there to say? From the welcome to the farewell, a great vacation.
