Huge holiday flat with direct access to the cross-country ski trail and right next to Germany's highest and most snow-sure ski area with 40 kilometres of slopes. The ski lifts are less than 5 minutes away from the flat.
Furthermore, the largest skiing area of the Bregenz Forest with over 130 km of downhill slopes (Mellau-Damüls-Faschina) is less than 35 kilometres away.
A multitude of summer and winter hiking trails are located right next to the house.
The Bregenz Forest starts with wonderful hikes right outside the front door.
From here you can reach Oberstdorf in 20 minutes.
(directly in front of the house the bus runs regularly via Obermeiselstein and Fischen to Oberstdorf)
Lake Constance can be reached in 38 kilometres.
Coming from the Riedbergpass, our flat is located about 1 km after leaving Balderschwang, on the left side of the slope and is already clearly visible from the road.
Turn in directly at the Alp-Chalet. The flat is located directly behind the Alp-Chalet.
In winter when there is snowfall, we recommend travelling via Austria. Leave the motorway in Immenstadt and drive in the direction of Alpsee/Oberstaufen. In Oberstaufen, take the direction Hittisau (Austria)-Balderschwang
The completely intact high valley is almost free of fog. The 60 km of marked hiking and MTB trails and the specially signposted Nordic Walking Park with overview board and 4 selected tours offer boundless nature experiences away from the big tourist crowds.
Thanks to the well-built pass road and good road connections to the Bregenzerwald, Balderschwang is very centrally located for excursions into the surrounding area.
Balderschwang is especially known for its abundance of snow in winter. It is not for nothing that the village is affectionately called "Bavarian Siberia".
The detachable 4-seater chairlift and a 2-seater chairlift as well as a further 9 T-bar lifts for alpine skiers and snowboarders and the more than 40 km long Grenzlandloipe for cross-country skiers make Balderschwang a very popular winter sports resort for young and old today.

a very beautiful, tastefully and lovingly furnished flat, high quality and practical, everything available. Great view from all sides, absolute quiet (except for the sound of cow bells - we were there in summer), nice neighbours and a great location. Whether down into the valley to Germany or Austria - same way - is mega varied and also up on the mountain / plain are enough possibilities to explore the mountain world and nature. We will be back!

Super equipment, everything spotless and a fantastic view.
The area is great for hiking, Oberstdorf and Kleinwalsertal are not far away

Great apartment in a beautiful location. Modern furnishings, very clean, adequately to well equipped for 8 people. Close to the slopes (15 to 20 minutes on foot, 5 minutes by car). We had very pleasant contact with the owner who answered all questions quickly. In short, we will definitely come back!
