Location and surroundings of object

The Sonneninsel flat is close to the beach (200 m) and centrally located, yet quietly situated on a hill in a house newly built in 2004 in the style of spa architecture.
The cultural, sports and wellness facilities of the Baltic resort of Zinnowitz are all within a short walking distance. Zinnowitz is one of the most beautiful seaside resorts on the island of Usedom. At the beginning of the 20th century, many buildings were built in the style of "spa architecture", which have been lovingly preserved and restored in the meantime and, together with the generously laid out beach promenade, form an impressive and at the same time unique picture. The pier leads guests 315 metres into the sea. At the top is a diving gondola for underwater excursions.

A wide variety of boat trips are possible from the idyllic marina on the Achterwasser. Between the Baltic Sea beach and the Achterwasser, the village is surrounded by beech, oak and coniferous forests. The beach in Zinnowitz is a shallow-sloping white sandy beach; there are separately designated beach sections for dogs and horses.

A varied range of cultural, sporting and wellness activities makes a stay in Zinnowitz an entertaining experience all year round. The Vineta Festival on the open-air stage, the "Blechbüchse" theatre, holiday tennis schools, mini-golf, beach sports fields, club cinema, "Muschel" music pavilion, guided walks on foot and by bike guarantee an attractive range of leisure activities. A visit to the "Bernsteintherme" with seawater bath, thermal bath, beach sauna and numerous wellness facilities is also recommended.

And quite "incidentally", the mild stimulating climate prevailing in Zinnowitz with its maritime temperature-humidity complex, the surf aerosols, the wonderful seawater and the pure, iodine-containing air is healthy for everyone.
