From Boddenhus Kranichrast in Bültenhof you can reach the Bodden in only 5 min. by foot
in 10 min. cycle path to the harbour+the bus stop with passenger ship transport "Hop on - Hop off" access/exit on the peninsula+mainland
in 20 min. cycle path or
10 min. by car you reach the most beautiful kilometre-long fine sandy north and west beach through the unspoilt Darß forest.

The pipe-roofed Boddenhus "Kranichrast" is located in the midst of nature on the former archipelago of Fischland, Darß and Zingst in Born on the Bodden side, between Born harbour and the local wind and kite surfing school.
Directly on the bicycle island circular route, the unspoilt Darß forest, with its ancient gnarled trees and juniper bushes, the moors and ferns, borders Born to the north.

The village of Born (a former seafarers' and fishermen's village) is located directly at the National Park Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft, surrounded by salty waves of the sea and washed by brackish water, a fresh and salt water mixture of the Bodden, on the peninsula Fischland-"Darß"-Zingst.
