Description
Our cottage 't Seepaerdje located in the cozy holiday park "De Oesterbaai" in Wemeldinge. Wemeldinge is a picturesque village which is located at the Oosterschelde in Zeeland. The house is detached and is comfortably furnished. It is fully equipped, even with its own private sauna. In the garden with lawn and terrace you can relax together, barbecue or just relax with a good book. Very close (just a stone's throw from the house) is a small, quiet sandy beach on the Oosterschelde. On the holiday park you will find for the little ones a playground with various equipment and a climbing frame, slide and swings.
Wemeldinge is a paradise for divers and water sports enthusiasts. They prefer to stay dry? Then you can achieve excellent biking and walking make on the bank and between the orchards and farmlands.
'T Seepaerdje is a great place to relax. It offers much to see and do in the area. A week is almost too short to discover everything. It is a very nice holiday for the whole family. See for yourself!

Dogs are welcome if they are declared at the booking.
The garden is fenced so that dogs or small children cannot wander off without your knowledge!

There is a patio with a garden and ample seating. The house has a lawn where children or dogs can play. For the little children, there is toys available, child bed, stair gate (downstairs and upstairs), bouncer and playpen, mobile changing table available.

Coming home again
As in previous times, we again enjoyed the nice, cozy, clean house, enclosed garden, and spacious terrace, with enough garden chairs. We would love to come back again!!

Cozy Holiday Home
After half a year, we returned for a wonderful vacation week in the lovely house with everything you need. Well-equipped household furnishings. In the cupboard in the room, we could nicely store our non-refrigerated food. Enough sleeping places that we are very satisfied with, and we slept well. The fenced garden is also super nice for our little dog! We had beautiful weather to enjoy the garden chairs that were still plenty on the spacious terrace. In other words, we had another fantastic week and would love to come back in the spring if our health allows. Thank you for the friendly and good communication and warm welcome! Hopefully see you in the spring.

Wonderful, relaxing vacation
With 4 adults and 2 dogs, we had more than enough space for everyone in the house.
We felt right at home due to the loving decor.
Everything was available as described/stated.
The location is great, especially for dogs with the fenced garden.
The sea is just around the corner, and the sauna in the house is a wonderful highlight for the evening.
The Verschuren family are very friendly and reliable hosts.
We would love to come back.

Overall a great holiday home
We were with 4 adults and 2 dogs in this great holiday home. It has plenty of space and is charmingly furnished. It is equipped with everything one could wish for. There were even bowls ready for the dogs. In good weather, one can enjoy the garden, there are enough seating options. The beach is just a few meters away, and in bad weather, there are enough games in the house to keep oneself occupied. We had a very nice contact with the landlords and would be happy to come back.

Unfortunately, only very limitedly recommendable.
The location of the house is great, just a few steps to the sea and several smaller beaches and the possibility for walks. There is little to nothing going on in the village. There are a few cafés and restaurants, but they close very early. A delight is the Thai restaurant in the village. The house itself is equipped with everything you need. Unfortunately, everything is incredibly worn out and very old. Catastrophic mattresses. Additionally, it is a wild collection of various things. One sometimes feels like at a flea market. It was not possible to find 4 identical wine glasses, even though there are at least 50 different glasses. The dishwasher ran every day on the longest program. Unfortunately, the dishes were still not clean afterwards. When booking, we indicated that we were traveling with two 8-year-old children. There was then a travel cot, high chair, etc. next to the large bed, which we had to clear away. To that end, countless stuffed animals are piled on the wardrobe. When one of the boys lightly touched the wardrobe for the first time, they all tumbled down and left a huge cloud of dust. Generally, there are dust collectors everywhere. Artificial flowers and decorations that are all terribly dusty. The morning after our arrival, we found short black hairs everywhere in the bathroom. Since we were already "moved in" and didn't want to "complain" anymore, we got cleaning supplies and cleaned ourselves. After moving out, we were accused of not having informed anyone. Furthermore, it was denied that any dog had been in the house at all. We have nothing against dogs. But I still don't want the previous owner's hair in the bathroom. After moving out, we were also accused of missing coffee and dessert spoons. As if this cheap mass-produced item would be taken by someone. We would have broken the backrest of a plastic chair in the garden for that. This "chair" was already broken beforehand.
