Description
The long-stretched Casa Formosa with apartment, studio and our house is located in the middle of a large property with old trees. In three heavenly directions, the area descends from there to the tranquil valley. This allows all units maximum privacy, so our guests repeatedly emphasize that the other residents hardly noticed.
Via the access road with electric gate, you can get behind the house, where guests have a car park with a shaded roof. In the middle of the house there is a communal laundry room, next door is the entrance door to the studio advertised here, a staircase leads to the 120m² large roof terrace with sea view.
On the west side of Casa Formosa is the apartment (see "Apartment"). It has to south-west a very private garden of about 1500m² size. Various terraces and plateaus with sea view invite you to linger. In the garden there are fruit, almond and olive trees as well as a play area with football goal, in the old tree dangles a swing. A further highlight are the outdoor kitchen with barbecue and the panoramic terrace with shaded roof and summer shower - all exclusively for the guests of the apartment.
If you are traveling with more than 4 people, studio and apartment can also be rented together. They are separated by two doors, acoustic and optical separation has been taken care of during construction.
Both units are also suitable for a holiday at a cooler time of the year, because all rooms have economic wall heating. There is also a wood-burning stove in the apartment.

Description Studio:
Our studio is located in the middle of the long-drawn house and has a private, not visible terrace facing south, equipped with pleasant wooden floor, table, chairs, sun loungers and barbecue. With an awning, the terrace can be shaded according to your preference. Evergreen bamboo provides an intimate atmosphere. There is also a large roof terrace with panoramic views and a summer couch for the students.
The studio has a well-equipped kitchenette in which even more elaborate dishes can be cooked without any problems. The cozy seating area consists of two comfortable armchairs and a small table. The bed behind a partition is 195x140cm in size. The TV with international channels and DVD player is available both from the bed and from the living area. In addition, a free W-lan is available.
For the cold season, economic wall heaters are installed in the bathroom and living room (heating costs are extra charged).

Quiet and beautifully located accommodation with stunning views
Our long-awaited holiday at Casa Formosa has finally taken place and our expectations were more than met
Heidi and Jens are such lovely people and hosts, always looking after our well-being.
The directions were very good, the drive up to the house adventurous, but easy to manage thanks to the tips given in advance. The thanks for this was a fairytale view over the surrounding landscape to the Ria Formosa, both from our small, cosy, hidden terrace and of course from the huge roof terrace. Everything is furnished with comfortable furniture and on warm evenings you can enjoy the starry sky or end the day with a glass of wine.
The studio itself is lovingly furnished, and the kitchen equipment lacks nothing. We were even allowed to help ourselves to the fresh herbs in the flowerbed.
I was a bit worried whether the bed was too narrow at 1.40 m. But it was enough. But it was enough, we slept very well.
The surrounding villages can be reached quickly by car, shopping in the market halls of Olhão is recommended. You can even reach a small beach on the lagoon on foot, a nice walk. The Ria Formosa nature park is also very close, and if you're lucky you might see flamingos there

All in all, we can definitely recommend Casa Formosa, and this was certainly not the last time we stayed there.

Pure relaxation
We felt very comfortable. The equipment is well thought out down to the smallest detail and therefore very comfortable.
The driveway to the parking lot is somewhat demanding because it goes up very steeply, but with a little practice it is doable.
For me personally, the mattress was a bit too hard, but as they say, tastes differ.

Pure relaxation
Once again pure relaxation, despite Corona. However, Heidi and Jens have taken care of every imaginable disinfection. There is a possibility to clean your hands with disinfectants at every corner. Here, we have less contact than most of us have at home. The rooftop terrace is a dream. Corona will probably be over at some point, and I am concerned about getting a booking for the next vacation due to the many euphoric reviews. Dear Heidi and Jens, I keep my fingers crossed that normality will return soon.

Beautiful days at the Algarve
I was a guest at Heidi and Jens's place for the umpteenth time and felt comfortable again. Rarely had such a well-equipped holiday apartment, everything is well thought out and nothing is missing. Fast internet in the studio and also a flat-screen TV with German TV programs is available. The highlight is the large terrace with a fantastic view of the surrounding area. Thanks to the good directions, the property was easy to find, and the accommodation was perfectly clean upon arrival. Thanks again to the hosts for letting me check in to the studio before the official check-in times.
The location is quiet and idyllic, a good starting point for exploring the eastern Algarve. The national road N125 is approximately 1 km away, providing quick access to various destinations. The highway for longer trips is also not far. Good shopping opportunities in nearby Olhão, easily accessible by car. The immediate surroundings with the dreamy beaches are fortunately not yet as touristy crowded as some other places in the Algarve, that's why I like to come back again and again!
