Description

Cosy and spacious, that is our holiday home. With 3 bedrooms, it offers space for 6 people and invites you to a magical, relaxing holiday. The underfloor heating always ensures warm feet, even on cold winter days. The wood-burning stove creates a cosy atmosphere, the sauna and the whirlpool are for relaxation. The wellness bath and a bathroom with shower do not let you feel hectic in the morning either. Enjoy the summer on the terrace, cycling on and along the dyke, taking pleasure in the wide landscape. All this is part
to a perfect holiday
Suitable for senior citizens with walking frames. The house is barrier-free on the ground floor. However, not suitable for wheelchairs

When booking, please note that arrival or departure is not possible on Sundays and public holidays, as our manager does not work on these days.

Our house is located right on the edge of the historic town. This means that it is only a few metres to the harbour and the historic town centre, but you can also do your shopping on foot.

Vacation Greetsiel

The house Strandläufer is located very quietly yet centrally.
The amenities are very extensive and the house is stylishly and comfortably furnished.
The communication with the owner and the management on site was absolutely great.
The place Greetsiel is beautiful.
Our vacation was fantastic and we can recommend the house Strandläufer without reservation.
Anytime gladly again.

Great accommodation

I stayed at Haus Strandläufer for the second time and I really enjoyed it again. The house is architecturally interesting and functionally furnished. Everything is available that you need. Perfect location at the harbor and many good restaurants, cafes etc. in the immediate vicinity. I would love to come back.

A very beautiful holiday home in a great location.

This year (2022) we were at Strandläufer for the 3rd time and, as always, we are fully enthusiastic about Greetsiel and the house, its facilities, and location. Of course, our stay in 2017 at Strandläufer was special – linked to our wedding at Pilsum Lighthouse. We always feel very comfortable there and will definitely come back.

Relaxation for small and big people

The accommodation is highly recommended for an adult holiday as well as for a holiday with (small) children. Two years ago as a couple without children we spent relaxing days with lots of time for enjoyment and welness. in 2018 it was relaxing days with enjoyment and wellness with lots of time for the children (4, 2 and 1 year old)

Suddenly you become especially aware of the stair gate, the high chairs, the changing mat, the washing machine and the short distances (especially the one to the playground :-) ). We are longing for the next stay!

A wonderful vacation house with top facilities and location

For a week, we were guests in this wonderful holiday home. It has everything one could wish for, and is very cozy and tastefully decorated. Everything was perfectly prepared upon arrival, with essentials already in place. The bathrooms are beautiful and spacious, and the bedroom with separate beds has a small flat-screen TV. The double bed in the upstairs bedroom consists of two relatively soft mattresses each 90 cm wide. The house is bright and friendly, numerous books and games are available. The kitchen is well-equipped, in addition to the drip coffee maker, there is also an espresso pot. The sauna and whirlpool, along with the fireplace, ensure relaxing hours when returning from a brisk walk. On the house's website, there is also a virtual tour of the house, which was helpful in our preparation and anticipation. The location of the house is also perfect: with a few steps, you are at the harbor or in the town center. A shopping facility with a cheese, cold cuts, and fresh meat counter is nearby, as well as great bakeries and restaurants. The only downside to the location is that at least in winter/spring, the house is quite visible to passersby, but later in the year, the hedge will surely provide some privacy. All in all, we were able to enjoy a really nice vacation at the Strandläufer and were well looked after and taken care of! Many thanks for that!
