The accommodation offers a combined living, dining and sleeping area, which has two comfortable single beds, a wardrobe and a kitchenette. The daylit bathroom has a shower. The covered outdoor terrace and a barbecue area invite you to relax outside. It is possible to rent a boat with motor (licence free). The fully fenced property offers you peace and privacy. Your car can be parked right next to the holiday home. Water access is available via a private jetty approx. 30 m from the property.

The holiday home is in a very quiet location directly on a branch of the old Havel River. The holiday resort of Ketzin/Havel is located directly between Potsdam and Brandenburg. Surrounded by protected natural landscapes as well as an ample lake and quarry landscape, it is a wonderful place to relax and unwind. The neighbouring cities of Potsdam, Berlin and Brandenburg offer a wide range of cultural and entertainment opportunities and can be easily reached within a short time
Shopping facilities for groceries, pharmacies, a medical centre and a petrol station are located in the village.

Beautiful small log cabin, nice holiday
We stayed in the house as a couple. A small house with everything you need. The small kitchen offers everything you need for a nice breakfast and is also absolutely sufficient for a small meal in between. I generally don't like to cook on holiday, so it was ideal for us. We love to spend our time in the fresh air. The terrace was lovely, we could have breakfast here every morning in the sunshine. We used the boat to explore the area from the water, really recommended. All in all, a very nice cottage with everything you need.

Blockhütte is more like a storage room with a bed and a bathroom. There is no direct water access in the area except for a dock provided by the landlord.
My review here was deleted without my request. Now assume that fake reviews from Nowottnik, the landlord himself, are present. Here is my review again. Consumer protection has been informed!
The log cabin by the Havel river is more like a garden shed and the equipment doesn't even come close to that of a youth hostel or similar. The beds are the cheapest of the cheap. Everything is creaking or squeaking. Wardrobe without shelves, hotplates, and sink in a very cramped space, thus no storage options at all. The cabin is simply too Spartan.
Furthermore, after canceling the rental of a rather old motorboat with a poorly patched outboard motor with significant safety deficiencies and a strong gasoline smell, I did not get my rental costs back since the landlord seems more concerned about his wallet than customer satisfaction. No understanding that my son and I did not want to drive with it. Once booked, always booked. The lawyers will soon clarify this. The area is in the Havel region, very beautiful when traveling by car. Otherwise, I can only advise against the small settlement at Pappelhein. That's where the dog is buried, and every inch of the region's shore is privately owned and not accessible. Except for the jetty at the landlord, there is no fishing spot available. I could write more here but I think that's enough. Was called afterwards and asked for deletion. That's what I call customer-oriented! :-(((

We spent some beautiful days in the log cabin and can recommend it, Mr. N is a friendly and always helpful landlord. We will go back.

Ideal for nature lovers and anglers.
We spent 1 week in the log cabin with dream weather. We really liked it, clean and tidy and fenced in - dog-friendly. The owner Mr. Marco N. is helpful, friendly, and immediately available if you have a request. The holiday home is also very suitable for two fishing friends, as a boat is available for exploring the beautiful Havel lakes landscape. Will gladly come back again!
