Description

Our new holiday home (first let in 2013) is located in the middle of open nature, only 300 m from a child-friendly bathing beach. It has 3 bedrooms and a cosy open loft with 2 sleeping places.

The summer house is situated on a large meadow plot ( m²), which can be used freely. The house has, among other things, a washing machine, a dishwasher, an oven and a fridge-freezer. It is bright, modern and friendly furnished. The spacious living room offers a fantastic view over the sea.
A large flat-screen TV with HDMI connection, DVD player and a selection of DVDs, fibre-optic WLAN as well as some board games provide the best entertainment even on rainy days. The wood-burning stove in the living room provides a cosy ambience on cooler days.

Location and surroundings of object

The cottage is situated at the beginning of a small cottage settlement surrounded by meadows, fields and forest with a great sea view of Helnaes Bay.

300 m below the house is a child-friendly beach with a freely accessible bathing jetty.
A small golf course (Parkgolf) has recently been opened in the immediate vicinity (1 km). Good shopping facilities and restaurants can be found 7 km away in Haarby or Assens
Also 7 km away is Brydegård Strand, one of the most beautiful sandy beaches on the island of Funen.
On the Helnæs peninsula there are fishing opportunities, kayak rental and a beautiful nature reserve for hiking and experiencing nature.

additional information about rental price:

Electricity according to consumption (7 DKK per KWh); towels & bed linen must be brought. We recommend Sunday as changeover day due to better traffic situation. Deposit: 160 EUR. The response times and response rates mentioned on the website are not correct. We do of course respond to all enquiries, but not via the holiday home rental portal, but directly by email.

Cancellation terms:

Cancellation fee equal to the deposit if you cancel the booking at least 30 days before the scheduled check-in by 12 noon CET (Central European Time). For cancellations made less than 30 days before check-in, the cancellation fee is equal to the price of the first week.

Recommended!

The holiday home is modern and fully equipped with absolutely beautiful views of the sea bay. It is perfect for families or multiple people; we were there as a couple and had plenty of space for ourselves. Our vacation was very relaxing; we really enjoyed the tranquility in the bay. Excursions, for example to Copenhagen, are easily doable by car from there.

Beautiful holiday home

We had two beautiful holiday weeks in the spacious and stylishly furnished holiday home, overlooking Helnaes Bay. The house leaves practically nothing to be desired. We particularly enjoyed that the area is not so overcrowded with tourists. Often, we had the beach all to ourselves. With (our own) bicycles, we could easily explore the area without being dependent on the car.

Everything was great

Whoever needs a break from everyday life is in the right place here. Very quiet and close to nature to relax.

Hyggeliges holiday home with dreamlike view

We have just returned from our two-week stay in Denmark and can recommend this house without reservation. The landlords were very friendly from the beginning and answered all our questions individually.
The house itself is very clean (that was especially important to us), tastefully furnished and in top condition. What you see in the photos is what you get in reality. The equipment of the house is very good. In other holiday homes there is a dishwasher, but not enough crockery to make good use of it. This is different in this house. There is enough (new) crockery so that you can cook and eat practically like at home. The house is also well equipped in terms of media. For rainy days there is a small library (Danish & German), W-LAN, TV, DVD player and a small selection of films, especially for children. When the weather is good, it is fun to use the huge grounds around the house for sporting activities such as frisbee, badminton, etc. The beach, which is close by, is just a stone's throw away. The beach, which is close to the house, was less suitable for swimming during our stay. However, a paddle boat could be used here. The nearby sandy beach of Brydegard is very suitable for bathing (10 min by car).
Of course, Helnaes Bay is a good starting point for excursions to the surrounding area (Faaborg, Langeland, Svendborg, Odense...).
Many thanks to the Göbel family for entrusting us with this great house.

Very nice holiday home with sea view

We can unreservedly recommend the house, as you can see from the star rating. Everything was wonderful from the first contact to the departure, we felt well looked after. The house is super clean, beautifully furnished and leaves nothing to be desired. The area around Helnaes offers more than we could manage in a week.

Dream holiday

We experienced a dream holiday in every respect on Funen. In addition to beautiful scenery, lovely people, pretty villages and lots and lots of nature, a dream holiday also requires suitable accommodation. We found this dream accommodation with "our" holiday home in Helnaes Bay. The holiday season did not yet invite us to go swimming, but from the light-flooded house or on the two terraces we enjoyed the view of the sea very much. After each excursion, we looked forward to coming home and felt comfortable both inside and outside - thank you very much for renting out such a beautiful house!

One of the best houses

We are now back from our 3-week holiday. We were thrilled with the house. It is honestly the best equipped house we have visited in Denmark (we have been going to DK for 10 years). Everything has been thought of
The location is excellent. Well, we are looking for peace and quiet and the house and the holiday home area are ideal for that. Nevertheless, you can get to places worth seeing within a short time.
Special thanks again to Signe and Jonas, who take care of everything on site and are always approachable.

Pure relaxation in a great, modern holiday home

The holiday home is of high quality and modern and fully corresponds to the photos shown here. The kitchen is well equipped and invites you to cook. A large charcoal grill is also available.
The view from the sofa to the sea is very nice, even on rainy days reading here gives a complete holiday feeling...
The mentioned beach was not so inviting for swimming during our holiday (a lot of seaweed, cold water, very narrow beach area), but the bathing jetty a bit further helps to overcome these obstacles. However, the beach right in front of the house was perfect for building sandcastles every day! (There are nice bathing beaches in Helnaes or on Langeland)
The large meadow around the house is perfect for playing, relaxing or flying kites.
Regarding the location of the house: it is part of a small holiday home settlement and is very quiet, so perfect for those seeking relaxation who just want to unwind. Shopping facilities can be found in the larger nearby towns or at the surrounding farms, which sell their seasonal products by the road.
This holiday home is absolutely recommended, the contact with the owners was also very warm and uncomplicated. We were very satisfied!
