Holiday apartments and houses in Assens

We can unreservedly recommend the house, as you can see from the star rating. Everything was wonderful from the first contact to the departure, we felt well looked after. The house is super clean, beautifully furnished and leaves nothing to be desired. The area around Helnaes offers more than we could manage in a week.

Recommendations: Unfortunately, there are no wardrobes for clothing. The shower does not have a handheld showerhead. The water is turned on at the sink faucet for the shower. The kitchen is very well equipped. It would be nice if there were a larger pot, cooking pasta for 4 people in the small pots is quite tricky. The loft bed is so close to the ceiling that children taller than 135cm bump their heads there. The door frames are very low! 180cm must always duck their head when walking through. When we arrived at the house, the sofa was full of pet hair, so we had to clean first. Someone from the cleaning service came, but they didn't even know where the vacuum cleaner was.

It is a beautiful large house, bedrooms are divided on 2 sides in the house, so convenient for multiple families. / Kitchen is fully equipped. / Delightfully close to the sea, so every morning starts with a refreshing swim. In the evening a beautiful sunset over the sea. / There is a lot of privacy. / Downsides are: there are no curtains on the upper floor, also in the activity room there are very transparent curtains, as well as in the bedrooms. To keep the children in bed a little longer, we covered everything with garbage bags and blankets. / What is also difficult for a large group of people is that there are 2 toilets, both located in a shower room, which is problematic during peak hours. / Due to the lack of a handrail, it is a nightmare for the disabled to get on and off the terrace. Many tiles were also loose on the little hill. (As well as on the terrace, in a corner by the cottage, where the tiles had sunk.) For small children very dangerous because there is no fence at the front of the terrace, which is 50 cm higher than the gravel path.
