Description
This tastefully furnished 4-star holiday flat is divided into a cosy living room with an open kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with a round shower and offers a great all-round view of Kappeln's sights: the Schlei, St. Nikolai Church and the Dutch windmill Amanda can be spotted from the windows.
The state-of-the-art kitchen offers extensive technical equipment, including an oven with ceramic hob, a microwave, as well as a fridge with freezer compartment and a dining area. The living room is furnished with a comfortable sofa and has a flat-screen TV with DVD player and music system. The rustic roof beams of the house lend the flat a cosy charm and make holiday guests feel at home right away.
In the garden of the house, guests have a beach chair at their disposal for spending time together in intimate togetherness.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday flat is located in the old town of Kappeln, only 100 metres from the harbour on the Schlei. The Schlei is an inlet of the Baltic Sea and a popular water sports area
The central location of the flat has many advantages: as a starting point for extensive walks in the eastern hill country and for excursions by bike or car to the nearest larger towns, it is perfectly suited to Eckernförde, Schleswig, Flensburg or Kiel.
The Baltic Sea is only 7 km away and the nearest beautiful wide sandy beach is wonderful for swimming. The flat is located directly in the old town of Kappeln - centrally located to the Schlei and the city centre
Worth seeing here are the Schlei bascule bridge, the Dutch windmill Amanda, the St. Nikolai church and the herring fence (the only herring fence in Europe that is still in operation!)
Kappeln became known as "Deekelsen" through the ZDF series "Der Landarzt". Some traces of the filming can still be found in Kappeln - for example in the Aurora restaurant.

We felt completely comfortable in the holiday apartment Strandkorb. The apartment is bright, modern, and invites you to linger. We were warmly welcomed by the property manager, Mrs. Hansen. All in all, a vacation as one wishes for.

In the holiday apartment "Strandkorb", nothing was missing. All appliances and utensils were available. The apartment is very lovingly and comfortably furnished and no effort is spared to make the guest feel at home. With great attention to detail, the apartment invites you to relax and feel good.
