Description
The vacation home "Sommerhaus" is located in Småland, away from roads, noise, and stress. Here you will find relaxation and peace. Recharge your batteries, take a deep breath - the air is truly unique here. You can go mushroom or berry picking right outside the door. The area is also suitable for hiking or cycling. The sauna by the water is ready in good and bad weather. And of course, you can also fish here. Zander, pike, and perch, among many other types, are found in this lake. The fishing license costs approximately 30 € per week. The holiday home can be reached directly by car, and there is a parking space right in front of the house. In the next small village, Fagerhult (about 8 km), there is a small shopping facility. It takes about 45 minutes to drive to Oskarshamn on the east coast, and if you want to visit Kalmar, it takes about 1 hour. It is about 70 minutes by car to Vimmerby, the birthplace of Astrid Lindgren. The house is suitable for up to 4 persons (2 adults and 2 children). The living area is approx. 50 sqm.
The living room has a dining area and a sofa set. Of course, there is a 32-inch flat screen TV with a satellite connection (all German programs). From the living room, you can access the two bedrooms.
The kitchen, adjacent to the living room, is fully equipped with a refrigerator and freezer, toaster, coffee machine, ceramic hob with oven, running hot/cold water, dishwasher, etc. A shower room with toilet, shower, and washbasin as well as hot/cold water is located immediately to the left as you enter the house.
The entire house has been completely renovated both inside and out and will appear in new splendor in April 2025!
On the northwest side (sun from noon until evening), there is a large, partially covered terrace. The view goes into the covered entrance and in front of the house (south direction) there is a rustic wooden bench with a table. Simple garden furniture and loungers are available.

Location and surroundings of object
In the middle of Småland, southern Sweden, lies the small peninsula of KIANÄS. This is where the summer house is located. The small village of Fagerhult is about 10 minutes away by car (about 70 km from the towns of Oskarshamn and Växjö). A small private road leads to this peninsula of about 1 square kilometre. Lake Kiasjön surrounds the peninsula. It is about 200 ha large. The small village with a shopping possibility is only 8 km away and belongs to Småland, southeastern Sweden. The nearest petrol station is in Åseda. To Oskarshamn to the east coast it is about 45 minutes by car and to Kalmar you drive about 1 hour. Vimmerby, the birthplace of Astrid Lindgren, is about 70 minutes by car
The nearest town is Fagerhult, about 8 km away.

Other rowing boats, canoes, kayaks, motors or life jackets can be rented from us. We also rent out some good bicycles and e-bikes.
All bedrooms are equipped with mosquito nets against uninvited guests. A barbecue belongs to each house.

So if you have rented a house from us, we can always help you with advice and assistance - but of course only if you want it.
