The Balserhof is situated in a central but quiet location in the old centre of Ellighofen and is one of the first farmsteads in the village from the founding period of the village

Ellighofen is an incorporated village of the town of Landsberg am Lech and lies on the border between Upper Bavaria and Swabia. Until the 1970s it belonged to Kaufbeuren, district of Ostallgäu. Ellighofen is 7 km from Landsberg, 30 km from Kaufbeuren, 45 km from Augsburg and 65 km from Munich. You can reach the Ammersee in 20 min, the skiing areas in the Allgäu in 45 min.
Walkers can reach the Moosbach valley directly from the house along the Moosbach. Protected by old trees on both sides, a tranquil little valley spreads out where you can find peace and quiet. On the way back, the attractive village centre with St. Stephan's Church invites you to take a walk through the village. There is also an inn and a small grocery shop in the village. Outside the village, the Geratshof glider airfield is a 10-minute walk away. You can reach Landsberg by bus and from there take the train to the Allgäu, Augsburg or Munich. We are also happy to pick up our guests at the train station in Kaufering.
We offer you an exclusively equipped holiday flat with a kitchen-living room, bedroom and bathroom. The flat has a separate entrance.
In addition to the holiday flat, we offer six rooms (single rooms, double rooms and suites) as well as two conference rooms and a sauna in our seminar and guest house.
