A new and comfortably furnished thatched holiday home awaits you.
It extends over 2 floors. On the ground floor there is a bathroom with sauna, a fully equipped kitchen, the dining area for 8+2 people and a cosy living room with flat screen TV and fireplace. The couch there can be converted into a sofa bed, so that you could also use the living room as a sleeping area.
On the upper floor you have the 2 separate bedrooms (also with TV) for max. 4 persons each as well as another bathroom with shower and bathtub. A cot and a high chair are available free of charge if required.
From the dining area you can access the south-east facing terrace with garden table and chairs for 8 people and a beach chair. In the lockable garden house you will find a barbecue and a trolley for the little ones.
Parking for 2 cars is available right next to the house
The WLAN connection in the house is free of charge.

central location in Koserow, 5 minutes from the beach, baker, butcher and supermarket are within walking distance
There is a swimming pool in the neighbouring hotel (can also be used by non-hotel guests). Koserow is situated on the narrowest part of the island of Usedom between the Baltic Sea and the Achterwasser. There are restaurants, bars, cafés, small and large shops for shopping and lots of nature. Koserow is also home to the famous and historic salt huts and Usedom's oldest church dating from the 13th century. Furthermore, there are well-developed cycling and hiking paths for leisure activities.
Right next to Koserow is the highest elevation on the island, the Streckelsberg. The adjacent beech forest with its beautiful old trees invites you to take cool walks and cycle tours in the hot summer months. Of course, the Baltic resort of Koserow also has a pier and a wonderfully wide sandy beach, on which all kinds of sporting activities (bungee, trampoline ) are offered from May to September.

The best hostess we have ever had the pleasure of meeting.
Today we would like to sing a praise song for Ms. Doreen Poegl as a host: We are a large family and wanted to go on vacation to Koserow with five people and three family dogs in January 2021, and booked a semi-detached house with Ms. Poegl. Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania banned entry, so we agreed with Ms. Poegl to postpone our vacation to January 2022, for which she was allowed to keep our deposit. In good faith, thinking we could take a vacation in Koserow in January 2022, we paid the considerable balance due in December 2021 on time. January came, and again we couldn't take a vacation together: one family member was not fully vaccinated, another works in a hospital and had a vacation ban, and the remaining three didn't want to travel alone and have to get tested daily in Koserow due to the regulations in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. And Mrs. Poegl turned out to be simply great, very understanding, accommodating, and completely unselfish hostess and reimbursed us the entire amount without any problems! For this, we are happily grateful and of course hope that one day as a family we can still spend a winter holiday in Mrs. Poegl's house.

(Extended) family holiday
We spent a week over Whitsun in this cosy holiday home. We had also rented the two semi-detached houses of the Pögl family in the immediate vicinity in order to spend a week's holiday together with the extended family (7 adults, 5 children) and to celebrate birthdays. The thatched-roof house with its spacious living/dining room offered plenty of space to spend the hours together, to barbecue together and to feel at home. At the end of the holiday week, everyone agreed to want to repeat this relaxing time.
