Description

A new and comfortably equipped semi-detached holiday home awaits you.
It consists of 2 sides, there are 2 separate and spacious holiday flats on 2 floors each with separate entrances and separate terraces. The 2 sides of the house have an identical room layout, equipment and furnishings. Each side of the house has a hallway on the ground floor, a large bathroom with sauna, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and a cosy living room with flat screen TV and fireplace. On the upper floor there are 3 separate bedrooms per side of the house (also with TV) for a total of max. 7 persons. There is also a small bathroom with shower on the first floor. A cot and a high chair are available free of charge if required.
From both dining areas you can access the two south-facing terraces, each with a garden table and 8 chairs. The terraces are separated from each other by a privacy screen. However, this can be removed if necessary, so that our semi-detached house is also ideal for several families who want to spend their holidays together. There is also a barbecue in the lockable garden house on each side of the house.
Parking for 2 cars is available right next to the house
The semi-detached house also has a free WLAN connection.

Location and surroundings of object

central location in Koserow, 5 minutes from the beach, baker, butcher and supermarket are within walking distance
There is a swimming pool in the neighbouring hotel (can also be used by non-hotel guests). Koserow is situated on the narrowest part of the island of Usedom between the Baltic Sea and the Achterwasser. There are restaurants, bars, cafés, small and large shops for shopping and lots of nature. Koserow is also home to the famous and historic salt huts and Usedom's oldest church dating from the 13th century. Furthermore, there are well-developed cycling and hiking paths for leisure activities.
Right next to Koserow is the highest elevation on the island, the Streckelsberg. The adjacent beech forest with its beautiful old trees invites you to take cool walks and cycle tours in the hot summer months. Of course, the Baltic resort of Koserow also has a pier and a wonderfully wide sandy beach, on which all kinds of sporting activities (bungee, trampoline ) are offered from May to September.

Holiday in May 2022 with almost summer weather

It was a very nice contact and nice holidays. The Sunday bakery is within walking distance, Netto is also open on Sunday afternoon. It is very good to stock up on fish sandwiches. The pier in Koserow is an experience, especially in the evening, you can sit there in peace.
The house is perfectly fine, the TV on the ground floor is built in on one side, not everyone sits comfortably. However, each bedroom also has a TV. The ants in the kitchen were a bit annoying, they must have been the first guests in a long time.

Der sandige Boden, die wärmer werdenden Temperaturen und der gepflasterte Eingangsbereich vorm Haus bieten natürlich ideale Bedingungen für diese kleinen Tierchen, die (besonders im Frühjahr) in vielen Erdgeschoßwohnungen regelrecht zur Plage werden können und leider vor keiner Tür halt machen. So schnell wie sie kommen, sind sie dann aber i.d.R. auch wieder verschwunden, vielen Dank für Ihr Verständnis diesbezüglich.

Wonderful wellness vacation

We had booked this great half-timbered house with sauna and fireplace for the winter holidays. It was a perfectly successful vacation. The house was perfect for us 3 (2 adults, one teenager), bed linen and towels are even included here. The cooking area leaves nothing to be desired, breakfast could be enjoyed at the large dining table and game nights could be held. The living room offers enough space to even take out the yoga mat. The sauna was used daily. Dear Pögl family, keep up the good work, we will gladly come back :-)

The best hostess we have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Today we want to sing a praise for Mrs. Doreen Poegl as a host: We are a big family and wanted to go on vacation in Koserow with five people and three family dogs in January 2021 and booked a semi-detached house with Mrs. Poegl. Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania prohibited entry, so we agreed with Mrs. Poegl to postpone our vacation to January 2022, for which she was allowed to keep our deposit. In good faith, we paid the significant remaining balance in December 2021, believing we could go on vacation to Koserow in January 2022. However, January arrived, and once again, we couldn't go on vacation together: one family member was not fully vaccinated, one had work restrictions due to a holiday at the hospital, and the remaining three didn't want to go alone and deal with daily testing requirements in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. And Mrs. Poegl turned out to be simply fantastic, very understanding, accommodating, and completely selfless hostess, and refunded us the complete amount without hesitation! For that, we are happily grateful and hope, of course, that one day we can still spend a winter vacation in Mrs. Poegl's house as a family.

Great Accommodation

We stayed in the semi-detached house last summer with 2 children and were very satisfied, a truly very nice, tastefully furnished holiday home that leaves nothing to be desired.

The location is very good, practically next door there is a bakery and within walking distance there is a supermarket and Karls Erdbeerhof. The Baltic Sea beach is also quickly and easily accessible.

The contact was very friendly and every question was answered courteously. We had experienced this differently before.

Beautiful winter holiday

The holiday home has everything you need. We felt very comfortable. The fireplace provided cozy evenings. The 2 bathrooms are great too. The kitchen is fully equipped. Mrs. Schmidt is helpful and nice.
It's great that the bakery is just a few meters away.
We were out a lot. Highly recommended is Karls Erlebnisdorf. You can spend the whole day there. Also great is the tropical zoo in Bansin. Also worth a visit in Peenemünde is the Phänomenta and the submarine. The Ozeanum and the Hanse Dom in Stralsund are also highly recommended. It is about a 1 1/2 hour drive, but worth it.

Vacation for the turn of the year

We spent New Year's Eve for the first time in a holiday home on the Baltic Sea and celebrated with our extended family. Everything needed for such a holiday and the associated celebration was there. We especially loved the sauna in the basement and the fireplace. The house is in excellent condition, lovingly and tastefully furnished – one would love to stay longer.

Great house and good location.

The house is equipped with very high-quality furniture. Although the kitchen seems quite small at first glance, it is fully equipped. The beds are super comfortable. The bathrooms were also in top condition, unfortunately we could not test the sauna due to the good weather, it was already warm enough. The terrace accommodates 6 people and is mostly shaded, making breakfast possible despite the sun. The distance to the beach is perfectly OK, you can reach it within a 5-7 minute walk. Restaurants and shopping opportunities are also within walking distance. We would also like to praise the on-site support from Mrs. S. She is super friendly and the house was super clean. Conclusion: We will probably book this house again and spend one of our next vacations in Koserow.

Very cozy. Good location. With a large family, you are very well accommodated in this holiday home. Everyone can find a quiet corner to rest.

The inquiries regarding the house were answered quickly.

For us, as we also drink tea, a teapot was missing. Otherwise, everything is available.

Wohlfühlhaus

We stayed for a week with three people in this beautiful accommodation. The house is exactly as described on the internet. You walk in and immediately feel at home and very comfortable. The entire high-quality equipment is well thought out and lovingly designed down to the smallest detail. Everything a self-caterer needs is available. We can only highly recommend this property. :-))
