We had a few beautiful days...

...in the very well-equipped and comfortably furnished penthouse apartment. Especially on the frosty cold days, we felt very comfortable in the warm apartment. The highlight was sitting in the heat cabin at sub-zero temperatures while enjoying a dreamlike view over the partly frozen Baltic Sea and the Lübeck Bay. The apartment was very clean and well-maintained, and Mr. Nebgen provided us with excellent information about everything. We would be happy to come back.

A perfect retreat

I could really relax here, switch off, and feel at home.
Everything was very clean, well-maintained, and designed in a way that makes you feel comfortable right away.

The landlord and the holiday apartment management were always easily reachable, very accommodating, and always responded quickly and kindly. I found that extremely pleasant. I would especially like to highlight how winter-proof this apartment is:
It can storm, snow, or be windy outside – inside, the world simply stays outside. In the warmth cabin, I could really enjoy the time and the peace, regardless of the weather.
And then on to the massage chair - wonderful!

I felt very comfortable and welcome here and would come back anytime.

You will not often find this phenomenal view of the Bay of Lübeck. Early in the morning, when the sun rises, or late at night with all the lights, simply amazing. The apartment is cozy and exactly as described. The extensive support from the Christ family is especially noteworthy. Whether it's the opening hours of the swimming pool (admission is free, there is a voucher in the apartment) or shopping and excursion tips, all information is sent by email or provided in the apartment. My husband and I give five stars, will recommend the apartment and are already considering another vacation home from the Christ family. By the way, we were particularly pleased with the personal meeting.

Above the clouds....

Already quoted here and also in the guestbook of the flat several times, loosely based on Reinhard Mey: Above the clouds... ...and that's how it really is. The view over the Baltic Sea and the other seaside resorts as well as the coastline, the beaches and piers: simply breathtaking. Whatever the weather. Of course, the view is beautiful when it's sunny, but especially in bad weather, watching the different cloud formations and seeing how it's already raining and where the sun is still shining was really impressive, as was the view of the illuminated coastline and the illuminated piers in the evening and at night. The flat also convinced us in other respects: clean, spacious, modern and comfortable. We simply had a great time all around.

Many years ago, we used to love driving to the Lübeck Bay because there is so much to see. Lübeck, the island of Fehmarn, Timmendorfer Strand, and Eutin were the destinations of our holiday this year, which we spent in the vacation rental of the Christ family. Thanks to the excellently equipped apartment, the many extras, and the extensive information, we had a very enjoyable time. We can highly recommend the all-around harmonious holiday apartment to all guests who would like to enjoy this dream view, desire extensive amenities, and otherwise seek a mix of relaxation and exploring the surroundings on vacation.

Sehr gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung

This year's winter vacation, we spent at the Baltic Sea in Sierksdorf and actually enjoyed the spectacular view of the Baltic Sea every day. Twice we had Indian food delivered to the apartment and otherwise either cooked in the well-equipped kitchen or ate in Neustadt (for example in Klüvers Brauhaus). We went for long walks, enjoyed the good sea air, and otherwise, of course, liked to spend time in the penthouse apartment, where we extensively used the sauna, fireplace, and massage chair.

Wow!

Thank you for a wonderful time over the New Year. Watching the fireworks of the Baltic Sea resorts Sierksdorf, Haffkrug, Scharbeutz, Nindorf, Timmendorfer Strand, and Lübeck-Travemünde from the penthouse terrace, along with the illuminated piers: simply Wow. We also thoroughly enjoyed our time, unfolded in the excellently equipped holiday apartment, played several evenings on the Wii, and had a great time on long walks through Sierksdorf and the surroundings. Thank you for providing a replacement internet stick so quickly when the regular internet in the house went out. We would love to come back to you next fall.

Christmas virtually in the clouds :-)

Our Christmas vacation this year was supposed to be something very special: a penthouse apartment with a sea view high above the roofs of the seaside resorts. Thank you very much, dear Christ family, for allowing us to be your guests, for preparing us so lovingly for our vacation, and for providing us with a holiday apartment on site that was cozy and well-maintained, and looked exactly as seen and read here. We set up our (art) Christmas tree in the winter garden, enjoyed the lights of the other seaside resorts, made ourselves comfortable in the sauna and in front of the fireplace, and overall just relaxed. By the way, we could conveniently do all our shopping in the nearby Neustadt, where we also had two very delicious meals.

Holiday apartment to feel good

After spending several years on the coast of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, we headed to the Schleswig-Holstein coast in the tranquil town of Sierksdorf for our pre-Christmas vacation in 2018. We enjoyed exploring the region, visiting Grömitz, Scharbeutz, Lübeck-Travemünde, and Bad Malente. We also visited the SeaLife Marine Aquarium (highly recommended!) and thoroughly enjoyed our time in the penthouse apartment set up for relaxation. We also used a reliable and very good delivery service from Neustadt in Holstein twice and dined romantically by candlelight and with a view of the sea. We had relaxing days at the Baltic Sea and will certainly think back to our vacation with pleasure more often.

The right choice for us.

Phew. Firstly, it's not that "easy" to find a vacation rental on the Baltic Sea in the off-season. Why not? Because there are countless apartments now, and due to the abundance of information, it's difficult to decide. This year, we chose the Wellness Penthouse Meeresblick because we wanted to treat ourselves to something special. And we were not disappointed. The holiday apartment is comfortably furnished, well-maintained, has clever extras like the fantastic massage chair and the infrared sauna with sea view, is very quiet, and of course offers this spectacular view of the Baltic Sea, which we also couldn't get enough of. Long walks on the beach, two evenings by the fireplace, and regular visits to the swimming pool pleasantly rounded off our relaxing holiday.

Relaxing time out

After stressful weeks at work, we just wanted to unwind a bit, which worked perfectly in the Christ family's sea view holiday flat. We really enjoyed the view of the sea or the illuminated Baltic Sea from the 12th floor and also liked using the heat cabin. Both the furnishings and the many lovely decorative elements made us forget everyday life and feel at home. We will gladly book this relaxing gem again as a time-out domicile in winter.

Ideal for families with children

As a father of two small children, you always think about what the children might like when choosing a holiday. Fortunately, we hit the bull's eye this time: A huge swimming pool with warm water and a free children's play area right next to the house, a great children's playground also right next to the house, the Hansa Park less than a 5-minute walk away and a Nintendo Wii console and various games and DVDs in the flat in case the weather is not so good. We adults rather enjoyed the sea view, the heat cabin and the walks on the beach - and the fact that our little ones liked it so much.

100% comfortable

Actually, we love it when we can let the wind blow around our noses at the seaside. However, we couldn't do that this year because the weather was much too good, but that didn't really bother us :-) Instead, we went on long bicycle tours on beautiful coastal paths and enjoyed visiting the rose town of Eutin and the Marzipan World in Lübeck. We can unreservedly recommend the Christ family's holiday flat. Why? Cosy furnishings, peace and quiet, 100% sea view (you can't get more than that) and highlights like the massage chair and the small home sauna. Everything seemed very well thought out and invites you to feel good - and we did!

Very nice landlady

After our holiday stay in the penthouse flat Meeresblick, we would like to take this opportunity to evaluate it.
We have to admit that we enjoyed the magnificent view from their flat at any time of the day or night. It is a beautiful area and the people are very welcoming. The beach, Hansapark and a stroll through Travemünde were our highlights.
And of course 6 days of sunshine in 7 days of holiday.

An all-round successful family holiday

One of the first "proper" trips with our "offspring holidaymaker" took us to the Baltic Sea. Our son is now five years old and so we once again enjoyed a holiday outside of the holidays. And since he is only now really getting something out of the holiday, we opted for the full "children's programme": beach, swimming pool, amusement park. And that's exactly how it turned out: hours of sandcastle building next to the beach chair on the beach, swimming every day in the indoor pool and twice to the Hansapark, which you can easily walk to from the holiday flat even with a smaller child and which - compared to Disneyland or the Europapark in Rust, for example - still has relatively family-friendly prices and really offers various nice attractions for children. So the little "offspring holidaymaker" was very satisfied - and so were the parents. Especially since the excellent holiday flat, the sea view and the massage chair also contributed to an all-round successful family holiday.

Simply great!

After many years, we were once again drawn to the Baltic Sea. In Sierksdorf, we found a truly dreamlike penthouse flat with a breathtaking view of the sea with the Christ family. Thanks to binoculars, we could see even the smallest details and often couldn't get enough of them. But we ate our fill. :-) We either cooked in the well-equipped kitchen, ordered something to eat in the flat (Indian and pizza) or went out to eat in Neustadt. A special tip, by the way, is Klüvers Brauhaus: rustic, delicious dishes and home-brewed beer with a direct Baltic Sea location. Great! The holiday flat was comfortably furnished and we wanted for nothing. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Everything was right

After holidays in Mecklenburg, we now wanted to try out the Schleswig-Holstein coast - and had chosen a very special holiday flat for this with the Wellness Penthouse. From the booking, the on-site support to the furnishings of the holiday flat, everything was just right. What we were not aware of, but which turned out to be very useful, was the proximity to the Hansepark, which can be reached on foot within a few minutes. Thanks to a cheap annual pass (thank you for the tip), we visited the Hansepark three times and went out to eat there more often in the evenings. Otherwise, we discovered the SeaLife in Timmendorf and sunbathed extensively in the beach chair or built beach castles that grew bigger every day. :)

Sea view = Wow!

Since we live rather rurally ourselves, we wanted to experience "high-rise air" for once and literally float above things. Until you enter the apartment, you can only guess at the height and the view - and then it almost takes your breath away. The view extends for dozens of kilometers over the water, the Baltic Sea resorts, and the coast. We couldn't get enough of it and enjoyed the sauna every other evening, which also offers a view of the sea. A look down over the railing is a little unusual, but still bearable - even for my wife, who is usually a bit sensitive to heights ;-) Thanks for a wonderful time!

Family holiday for well-being

The first "real" family vacation with the child and dog led us to Sierksdorf and this wonderful penthouse. Sleeping in, having a lavish breakfast (buns were available directly in the holiday complex) with a view of the sea, and then strolling through Sierksdorf or along the beach with the stroller, or just enjoying the sound of the waves for a few hours in a beach chair. We felt very comfortable and will certainly not be your holiday guests for the last time.

Like a private second home

Even though the path to the penthouse apartment, as described on your website, initially involves climbing a few steps through the staircase because the elevator only goes up to the 11th floor, this was not a problem for us, and it did not diminish our holiday pleasure. On the contrary, it was pleasantly quiet on the top floor, and we could enjoy the view of the Baltic Sea to the fullest, especially from the winter garden and the heat chamber. You can tell how lovingly the holiday apartment has been furnished, as it is not just functional, but decorated in a way that one could set up a second home privately, which we found very pleasant. Thanks to the beach basket, we spent several days on the beach and also enjoyed taking part in the free boat trips that took us to the other seaside resorts of the Lübeck Bay.

Lake + amusement park + great apartment = :-)

Where to go with children who are not yet of school age? We wanted to enjoy the sea air while also providing some variety for the kids. So, we chose Sierksdorf, as it is home to the Hansa Park amusement park, which is also well-known in Rhineland-Palatinate. Enough has been written about the truly breathtaking sea views here. We can only confirm this. However, we would like to emphasize the clear design approach of the landlords in the furnishings. Everything appears harmonious and cozy. We were particularly impressed by the lounge area on the open side of the rooftop terrace. Delightful. By the way, the Hansa Park is less than a 5-minute walk away and thanks to a discounted annual pass, it can be used as often as you like. During our vacation, we visited the park four times, one of which was just for the wonderful evening parade and a delicious dinner in the park.

Man and dog felt very comfortable

Vacationing with a dog is not always easy, as some destinations are not accommodating and many hosts do not allow dogs. We were delighted to stay in this special penthouse apartment with our Westie mix Kasper. We were thrilled by the sea view, and even Kasper enjoyed facing the water with the wind on his nose. The expansive sandy beaches and forest trails were perfect for long walks. We very much enjoyed walking along the promenades of the villa district of Sierksdorf. Otherwise, the vacation apartment offered everything we could wish for on holiday: a clean, well-maintained, cozy, high-quality interior. Since we prefer not to leave our Kasper alone for long, it was ideal for us to be able to use the sauna and massage chair directly in the vacation apartment without having to go to a wellness area.

Our perfect week at the sea

We saw the sea! Every day and from practically every spot in the vacation rental (except the bathroom and the hallway). Waking up in the morning and immediately seeing the sometimes turbulent, sometimes calm sea, sometimes with sailboats, sometimes with large ships, was simply wonderful for us, and we couldn't get enough of it. We still used the wood-burning stove, the bio sauna, and the massage chair every other day, as everything is located in the conservatory, where you can also enjoy views of the Baltic Sea. A well-maintained, fully equipped vacation rental, excellent beds, a modern kitchen, and extensive, multi-hour beach walks rounded off a perfect week of vacation for us.

Wunderschöne Urlaubstage

On the occasion of our 12th wedding anniversary, we wanted to treat ourselves to a very special accommodation and therefore chose this penthouse vacation apartment. Why? Because we wanted peace, a breathtaking view of the sea, and a vacation rental where (hopefully) everything had been thought of. Luckily, we were not disappointed but actually "received" seven beautiful vacation days in a completely well-thought-out vacation apartment. We went on long walks if the weather was nice (which unfortunately wasn't always the case) and otherwise enjoyed the sauna, the fireplace, the massage chair, and above all the view of the sea. We didn't get around to cycling or the free harbor tour, but at least we have some goals for our next stay in your holiday apartment. :)

Breathtaking sea view.

We always travel to holiday apartments or hotels with a sea view, but at least in Germany, we have rarely been able to enjoy such a "pure" sea view. Without disturbing houses, trees, or anything else. From both the living room, the kitchen, the dining area, and the two covered outdoor areas, you can see the sea across the entire width of the horizon. Interestingly, at the same time, you can also see the diagonally shaped Lübeck Bay with the seaside resorts of Scharbeutz, Timmendorfer Strand, and Travemünde, including the pier and beach areas. Cleverly positioned, the sauna also offers a view of the sea. All in all, it was a relaxing seven days by the sea in a holiday apartment with a truly breathtaking view, which was also lovingly and extensively equipped, and provided nice support with a brief briefing directly in the apartment. We also enjoyed using the bicycles that come with the apartment.

Above the clouds, freedom must be boundless...

When we entered the vacation rental, what immediately struck us was Reinhard Mey and his song: "Above the clouds, freedom must be endless." The first impression was so overwhelming with the view of the water, which you simply don't expect. Of course, there are also various photos here, but seeing it live is something completely different. And down there in front of the not really attractive high-rise building (but which high-rise building is attractive, really?) you just can't see anything of the water. This only changes when entering the apartment, which further enhances the wow effect. The bedrooms are rather small, but for us as a group of 4 people, this was not a problem at all. In contrast, the living area and especially the huge terrace and the conservatory are all the more spacious. After a week of vacation, we had to return, even though it was difficult for us to part with the view.

Apart from minor things, everything is perfect.

Many landlords would probably describe us as not exactly easy to please guests. My wife is allergic and I am chronically dissatisfied as long as things are not perfect. The "ideal" guests ;-). Here, too, not everything was perfect. Due to my wife's allergy, everything really has to be 100% clean. Therefore, we had the rental service clean again (we had to do this in every vacation rental so far). After that, there were no more complaints. We had some minor issues (for example, the parking garage next to, not under, the house, as well as the swimming pool, a broken lamp on the bicycles, and a slightly scratched pan), which were addressed very well, and a new pan was provided for us the next day. The rest was perfect. We would like to point out that while we are certainly very critical, we can still distinguish between a vacation rental and a hotel and therefore know what kind of service to expect in a hotel versus a vacation rental. Thanks to the well-thought-out features and many small highlights, this vacation rental rightfully falls into the 5-star category. Thank you also for your restaurant recommendation (Hof Sierksdorf), where we have eaten very well multiple times.

Thank you for a week above the clouds.

Dear owners!

We would like to thank you for a "week above the clouds." Of course, it is a high-rise building that looks as they do in Germany. But for us, this was the special appeal: being at the very top, having no other apartments above us, and enjoying a panoramic view that stretches for miles over the water. Amazing! You truly did not promise too much. This also applies to the furnishings of the vacation rental, which are very cozy. We enjoyed using the swimming pool, where my husband could swim laps. In the meantime, I took our dog for a walk and explored the villa district of Sierksdorf (unfortunately, I did not see Armin Müller-Stahl). We will definitely visit you again, this time with our grandchildren who are already looking forward to a visit to Hansa Park.

Pure sea view = Pure relaxation!

After three unsuccessful attempts, it finally worked out this autumn. So far, we had never been lucky because your penthouse apartment had always been fully booked months in advance, and we couldn't book that early. Thanks to a last-minute cancellation by another guest, we were able to "strike." And it did not disappoint. We booked the apartment because we liked the amenities such as the sauna, the fireplace, and the second television. We also enjoyed using the swimming pool for free. We took advantage of all of this, including your complimentary harbor tour, and everything was lovely. But actually, we wouldn't have needed any of that: it would have been enough for us to just sit on your penthouse terrace all day, cozily wrapped in a blanket, with a cup of tea, and simply let our gaze wander over the Baltic Sea all day. It was sooo relaxing, and there was so much to discover from up here, as you not only look at the blue water but also can overlook the other Baltic Sea resorts, piers, and beaches for miles due to the slant of the Lübeck Bay. There are dogs playing on the beach, a fishing boat there, then somewhere flashing blue light, people on the piers, swimmers in the water, etc. And her telescope was ideal for detailed observation. When another booking gap appears that fits our schedule, we will strike again. . . :-)

We often complain - not here! It was all good!

We stayed in this truly beautiful penthouse apartment in January and everything was perfect. Cozy, high quality, just right. Everything worked and was clean. The descriptions and photos beforehand were accurate. The town of Sierksdorf is still really cozy – at least in the off-season. We can't judge more. We walked along the beach for hours and discovered all the Baltic Sea resorts of the Lübeck Bay. By the way, the Seehof Sierksdorf restaurant, which is located less than a 5-minute walk from the vacation home, is excellent. We ate there three times, even though the kitchen in the apartment had everything we needed. But cooking is not always necessary... ;-) We are generally very critical guests, but there was nothing to complain about here (except for a broken light on the chandelier, which was promptly replaced). It was really nice!

Above the clouds – that's how it really was for us.

Reinhard Mey sings "Freedom must be limitless above the clouds." We weren't quite in the clouds, but very close. We were lucky in November (maybe it's normal here on the coast though) that we didn't have any rain or significant cloud cover. We could go to the beach, take trips (to Lübeck for marzipan and to the Ostseetherme in Scharbeuz), or simply stay in the holiday apartment and enjoy the view of the sea. Above the clouds... So much has already been written about the sea view here. But it's just like that: getting out of the car, feeling a little confused that you only see the high-rise building but no water, then going up to the penthouse floor, opening the door, and there it is. That moment at the beginning, when you see the water for the first time, is something special (even though you actually know that the sea view should be coming soon). We definitely felt very comfortable and will also pass that on in our circle of acquaintances and friends.

Sport, movement, sea view - for us, it was great.

A little late, we now come around the corner with our review. In the course of our new booking for 2014, we remembered the possibility of a review. And since we also booked this vacation rental for our summer vacation in 2014, you can already tell that it couldn't have been that bad. On the contrary. The rental service even came into the apartment with us and showed us everything. Next door is the giant swimming pool belonging to the facility (indoor pool size), which we were allowed to use for free. There is also a tennis court, basketball hoops, a field for playing football, and table tennis tables. Perfect for us as a sports-loving family. In the apartment, thanks to the Nintendo Wii, we continued with sports. In between, there was also time for wellness, the sauna and the massage chair, and of course, the view of the Baltic Sea. Of course, we also went to the beach. Every day, in fact. We also explored the nearby area. However, since we haven't seen everything yet, we will come back this year.
