We spent a whole summer in this wonderfully situated house and it was everything we had dreamed of. It has everything it needs and yet a simple life in and with nature is possible: fishing, canoeing, swimming, picking berries, observing animals, cooking on the fire... Most of all we appreciated the remoteness of the cottage and yet still having contact with civilisation. And the location at the lake is simply a dream!
The landlords are very helpful, experienced and eager that their guests are well!

The log cabin is simply ingenious and unparalleled in Sweden. The furnishings and fittings are very well thought-out, cosy (reading corner by the fireplace!) and of a high standard. We were also allowed to bring our dog to this great holiday home!
The Fjäll is magnificent and we did many of the hikes suggested by Christoph and Miriam. If you love nature, solitude and silence, you are in the right place around Gala Fjällgard. We felt incredibly comfortable here and will be back soon! We also miss the reindeer!

The two of us spent a wonderful and unforgettable week in the Ull holiday home in winter (March 2018). The house radiates a lot of cosiness due to the many wood and the warming fireplace and invites you to feel good. The perfect furnishings leave nothing to be desired. You can see and feel everywhere how much love and handwork went into building the cottages and how the whole farm is looked after.
Christoph and Miriam are very nice and open hosts who are always there for their guests and have many great tips for (winter) hikes and excursions.
The location in Sweden's untouched nature is fantastic. Thanks to excellently groomed cross-country ski trails and very well signposted snowshoe hiking trails, you can discover it undisturbed directly from the house.
Galå Fjällgård is a magical and very special place to find peace and feel good...
