Fachingen is located in the middle of the Taunus, directly on the small river Lahn. Some people may know Fachingen because of its famous healing water "Staatlich Fachingen".
Forests, meadows, beautiful hiking trails and a rural idyll make the holiday flat a place of pure relaxation. Simply leave the stress of everyday life at home and just be for yourself.
You will find everything you need in the fully equipped holiday flat. If you have any questions about excursions or would like to enjoy the hostess's excellent cake with a view of the Lahn, we are always happy to help.

At home and yet on vacation.
We originally booked the house for 4 days. It turned into 10 days, as longer wasn't possible due to the next guests. From both the bedroom, living room, and kitchen, you have a fantastic view over a large terrace with the Lahn Valley behind it. The spacious garden, which is freely accessible, has multiple terraces, some of them covered. You don't even need to leave the house to enjoy nature. The house is cozy and very well-equipped. There is even a well-stocked bookcase with interesting books from the host. The property is located near the Lahn, where you can rent canoes and also go on beautiful bike rides. The Doegen family knows everything about the area and is happy to give advice, including for visiting a castle or palace nearby. By the way, our (Dutch) royal family has left quite a mark there. Fachingen is centrally located between Koblenz and Limburg. We were particularly charmed by Limburg (in Germany). A historic town located 15 minutes by car from Fachingen, with a beautiful old town center, as well as a modern shopping promenade, a large department store, and a supermarket. In short, we found this property to be an ideal place where we felt very much at home.

Wonderful holiday on the Lahn
If you are looking for accommodation with a high standard and a very nice, open-minded landlord, this is the right address. The landlords are always available for a nice chat, advice and tips.
We felt very comfortable in the house and enjoyed the warm atmosphere
Everything was very clean!
The furnishings are bright and friendly and very cosy. We have rarely slept so well in a "foreign" bed. The separate bathroom is very nicely equipped.
This house will be a permanent address for us in the future.
