The holiday house is part of an estate situated
on a spacious property (approx. 6800 sqm) in
a quiet edge location directly adjacent to forest and meadows.
The sun shines here from sunrise
to sunset. The two wooden terraces on the
west side of the house are directly adjacent to a
meadow orchard, which offers a view over the meadows
to the village 1 km away. The houses of the round village, arranged at appropriate intervals, share a central village green.

The Pomeranian circular village is adjacent to one of the largest forest areas in Germany. It's a 10-minute walk through the historical and traffic-calmed village to the Stettiner Haff with its beach and harbor. It takes 10 minutes to drive to Ueckermünde, which features a lovingly restored old town and harbor. You can reach Greifswald, Szczecin, or the Baltic Sea beaches within approximately one hour. The forest immediately next to the property is signposted for walkers, cyclists, and horse riders. Mönkebude -Pearl on the Szczecin Lagoon- is a state-recognized former fishing village and has become a popular holiday destination. If you are looking for peace and relaxation in an idyllic landscape, then you are in the right place. The fine sandy beach with its beach chairs invites you not only in summer to linger. There is a small marina nearby. From here, you can book a sailing trip on a historic sailboat. At the tourist office, you can find information about events and everything worth knowing about the place and region. At the local museum, you can learn interesting facts about the history of the village and the surrounding area. In the village, there are several good restaurants, a grocery store with a bakery and snack bar. Our salt grotto with massage options invites you to relax.

Das Paradies !
Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub im ruhig, am Waldrand gelegenen, bestens ausgestatteten
Ferienhaus . Der Garten ist riesig und lädt zum verweilen unter den Obstbäumen ein.
Unsere super netten Gastgeber haben uns zum Empfang den Kühlschrank mit Köstlichkeiten gefüllt.

True idyll without loneliness
We discovered a beautiful little house many years ago and have always been happy to stay with our dearest hosts (who also introduced us to the benefits of a vegetable-rich diet...). We could always enjoy an incredibly relaxing view of the huge orchard property and the western sky from both the terrace and the living spaces; even indoors, it felt like a home of its own, with plenty of space, comfort, an exquisite reading collection about the region, and more, full of cozy functionality and tranquility. Ideally located for all excursions - whether on foot, by bike, to the beach, to the village store, into the forest, to Ueckermünde or Torgelow, or into the Peene Valley for birdwatching. What a pity we can't take vacations more often! ! !

We spent 10 dreamy days in the Pomeranian round village in August and can only say: absolutely top!!!

Hallo Ihr beiden! Wir sind jetzt auf diese Seite umgezogen. Dabei habe ich Eure gute Bewertung vor 11 (!!) Jahren entdeckt. Nachträglich vielen Dank. Inzwischen ist hier auch ein Golfplatz in der Nähe: Krugsdorf liegt ca. 50 km entfernt bei Pasewalk. Vielleicht verbringt Ihr Mal wieder einen Urlaub in Mönkebude!? Liebe Grüsse an alle drei.
