Our holiday flat "Haus-Seemannsgarn" is located in a dead-end street. At the end, Gartenstrasse 22, lives the Julius family. We would like to invite them to drink three cups of East Frisian tea with us. That's the custom in East Frisia. Afterwards you can spend your holiday in a flat with kitchen, living room with sofa, bedroom and bathroom. A children's playground is available and children are very welcome. They also like our East Frisian tea and our stories of sailor's yarn.

in Esens-Bensersiel-Osfriesland Only 4 km away, directly on the coast, lies the North Sea spa of Bensersiel with its sieve harbour and has been the ferry port for the island of Langeoog since 1859. In Bensersiel, a district of the town of Esens, guests will find kilometres of sandy beach, high and low tide, nature and adventure, as well as plenty of leisure facilities.

Very nice apartment and first-class landlords!

This was our first time as guests at the Julius family and we are thrilled. The apartment is lovingly and comfortably furnished and equipped with everything we needed. The reception was exceptionally friendly and we felt welcome and very well taken care of. A big thank you and we would love to come back.

A very cozy accommodation with very hospitable landlords.

Very cozy small guesthouse, well furnished with everything necessary. Everything was clean and the hosts were very helpful and provided us with sufficient tips for the surrounding area.
We probably won't be the last time here and we really enjoyed our short vacation time.

Many thanks to the Julius family and hopefully see you again soon.

Beautiful holiday flat with quiet location

Very nicely equipped holiday flat and lovingly furnished.
Also a very nice quiet location.
And if you want to go for a city stroll, you can do that on site. There are many shops in the town centre.
We were there for a week and will gladly come back.

Excited - Everything is great.

An apartment with everything as it should be. Ideal quiet location, a 5-minute walk to the city center. By bike, 5 km to Bensersiel beach. An ideal starting point for our bike tours along the coast. A garage with charging facilities was available for our e-bikes. A nice landlord family - you feel really comfortable here.

Quaint Frisian with a lot of charm

This was our first stay at Haus Seemannsgarn and we received a very warm welcome. In the lovingly furnished holiday flat, we lacked nothing to spend a quiet and relaxing holiday. The flat is located in a quiet side street and within walking distance you can reach the pedestrian zone or the supermarket in a few minutes. This was certainly not our last holiday in this accommodation.

Tolle Wohnungen

The 4th time there and always beautiful. Quiet living. Welcoming?
Those who want it simple, have no high demands, are exactly right there.
It rained for one day. Child was in the children's room, and we were in the living room. Top. Worked out great.
Andre and Roswitha are always there if something is needed. Every problem is solved. The ground floor apartment is also very good for seniors. Have lived there before.

Impudent message

Location, amenities, and value for the price are great. Unfortunately, after leaving, we received a very angry message that the floor was not clean enough and had not been vacuumed. It seems that guests must clean in such a way that the vacation rental can be rented out again immediately without professional cleaning. In times of the pandemic, it really shocks me to receive such a hateful message about a "spotless" floor and a less than perfect clean countertop, things that need to be cleaned anyway. It also makes one wonder how and by whom the apartment was cleaned before.

Very good recreational value

A very nice landlord family, a little house with everything you need, an ideal location if you don't want to live directly in the tourist hustle and bustle and yet can reach everything for shopping or eating out within a short walking distance. The beach can be reached by car in a few minutes, and the approx. 6 km to Bensersiel are also no problem by bike. Esens is an ideal starting point in many directions for bike tours. On this occasion, thank you once again for providing shelter for our bicycles! We really enjoyed the opportunity to sit and have breakfast outside. Our overall assessment: We felt very comfortable at the Haus Seemannsgarn and have recovered well!
