Location and surroundings of object
We are located directly in the gateway to the Altmühltal in the Pappenheim district of "Übermatzhofen".
Located directly on the edge of the forest, hiking and cycling trails are in the immediate vicinity (approx. 1km away).
The Pappenheim castle, the open-air swimming pool, the new forest adventure park, the fossil quarry and some of the best beer gardens and pubs in the district are only a few kilometres away.
The Franconian Lake District with the Altmühlsee and the large and small Brombachsee with all its attractions is only about half an hour away.
Übermatzhofen is the perfect starting point for the most beautiful activities and excursions with the whole family. As a climatic health resort and former royal seat, Pappenheim offers a wide range of leisure activities.
In Pappenheim, nestled in a romantic loop of the Altmühl river and surrounded by rolling hills covered in mixed forest, you can also experience over 1200 years of German history.
