Description
Our beautiful old Jura farmhouse is idyllically situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of the village and was ecologically renovated in 2013/2014 with great attention to detail and awareness of the past.
Families large and small will feel just as comfortable in the creatively designed Indian, unicorn and Pippi Longstocking rooms (the painted pictures on the walls are impressive) and in the knights' camp as groups from schools, homes, day care centres and institutions for the disabled and youth welfare.
Cosy sitting areas invite adults in need of rest to relax, while children can romp around the entire, fenced-in yard area and live out their imagination on the adventure course. Horses, ponies, dogs, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens and cats want to be petted and fed.
While some like to help with the stable work, others play in the tepee or swing around. In the evening, sausages are grilled at the fireplace.
The true friendship of man and horse is of great concern to the manager of the Rosenhof, riding instructor Sabine Dier. This dedication is evident in the riding facility, which has been designed with a great deal of horse awareness and consists of a riding arena, an oval track and an adventure course with a seesaw, bridge, hill, pasture tunnel and tree trunks.
Healthy and well-balanced horses are indispensable for working with children, so our eleven horses and ponies enjoy species-appropriate husbandry in an open stable with an exercise landscape and access to pasture.
Travelling riders or holidaymakers with their own horse can enjoy their own paddock and open stable.
In addition to riding holidays with highly qualified riding lessons, the Rosenhof also offers therapeutic riding, centreed riding and sensory integration.
Offers such as Indian week, trail and neck ring riding as well as trail rides complement our varied riding offers.
We would be happy to make you an individual offer for riding lessons and therapeutic riding for your holiday.
