The house was enlarged and completely renovated a few years ago. It offers two separate bedrooms on one level, as a double and a twin room, and 2 shower bathrooms/WC with shower cabins. Bed linen and towels are provided on request. The new bathroom is very spacious and accessible, with a large level shower area, grab bars, shower seat, raised toilet, and underfloor heating. Guests with disabilities have also always been very satisfied with the facilities of the house.
House and kitchen are fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer. In the large living/dining room there is a sofa corner, dining area, smart satellite TV, radio with CD, free Wi-Fi, and telephone. Through a wide sliding door you reach the terrace and your own garden with garden furniture. The communal parking lot/parking space is only 150 meters away, a disabled parking space is in front of the house.
The separate storage room with 3 bicycles, garden loungers, sun umbrella and garden grill offers additional storage options.
For children there is a high chair, children's books and some games. The private garden with lawn and the wide range of leisure activities in Butjadingen offer families and children many opportunities for an eventful, relaxing holiday.

The house is located in a quiet holiday settlement on the dyke, only a few hundred metres from the beach with its attractive playground and from the Center Parc with its fun pool and restaurants. On one level, barrier-free, comfortable and child-friendly, the holiday home offers peace and relaxation in green surroundings. Smoking is prohibited

Butjadingen is the green peninsula between the Jade Bay and the Weser estuary near Bremerhaven, easy to reach yet quietly situated. On the western edge of the peninsula, opposite Wilhelmshaven, lies Tossens, a North Sea resort that has been recognised for decades. The Frienstrand lido with playground invites you to play, swim and walk the mudflats on firm mudflats. Guided tours go as far as the seal banks. The Center Parcs fun pool and various restaurants and shops in the village are inviting. Everything is just a few hundred metres away.
In Burhave, 8 km away, you will also find the seawater swimming pool Nordseelagune and a play barn for cloudy days. 250 km of almost car-free roads along the dyke and through the green countryside past small tranquil villages and farms offer a paradise for cyclists.
Tossens and Butjadingen offer peace and quiet and natural recreation at any time of year. In the small cutter harbour of Fedderwardersiel nearby, the passenger ship "Wega II" offers trips to seal banks and lighthouses. Next door, hiking trails and a mudflat footbridge lead to the renaturation area "Langwarder Groden" with a rich salt marsh landscape and abundant birdlife.
Bremerhaven is not far away via the Blexen Weser ferry or through the Weser tunnel. On a harbour tour or with the "Havenbus" from the land side you can marvel at the large container ships and learn many interesting things. The Klimahaus takes you around the world and the Auswandererhaus reminds us of the millions of emigrants on their way to the New World.

Cancellation terms:
The guest has the right to withdraw from the contract at any time. Nevertheless, in the event of withdrawal, the obligation to pay the rental price remains, reduced by the 10% flat rate for expenses saved. If cancellation occurs up to 90 days before check-in, the obligation to pay is reduced to 10% of the rental price. It is recommended to take out travel insurance.

The house was thoroughly renovated and extended a few years ago. The access, private garden and terrace were generously redesigned, accessible through a wide sliding element. In the process, a second bedroom with extra-wide access was created next to the still large living/dining room and a completely new, large, barrier-free shower room/WC. Thanks to aids such as shower seats and grab rails, people with walking difficulties in wheelchairs can also spend their holidays in our house with an accompanying person. There are no steps or thresholds in the house. A disabled parking space is directly in front of the house, the communal parking space is approx. 100m away.

Vacation from everyday life
We felt very comfortable. The large bathroom with walk-in shower, the fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. A beautiful terrace invites you to have breakfast and a very quiet area. Beach, restaurants, bakeries and shopping facilities are nearby. Very good cycle paths for short and long bike rides. This holiday home is highly recommended.

Great holiday, with a great house
A very nice house. Very clean and very well furnished. Everything is available, whether fully equipped kitchen, bicycles, disabled bathroom or spices in the kitchen cupboard
Only 5 minutes to the sea or 5 minutes to the bakery, so the location of the house is very good
Since the mobile phone reception is very poor, I would recommend installing wifi in the house, if you want to google something quickly, you don't always have to go down to the sea first
And a very nice caretaker couple, everything went well with the handover of keys.

We rent out our private holiday home and are happy if our guests feel as comfortable there as we and our family do. We have especially thought about children and elderly or disabled guests when designing the house. The house is located in a popular, quiet holiday home settlement on the Tossen dike. It was thoroughly renovated a few years ago and enlarged with an additional wheelchair-accessible shower room / WC and a second enclosed bedroom. All without steps and thresholds with direct access to the garden and terrace. From dishwasher to washing machine and internet/WLAN and smart TV, it is fully equipped all around.
