Description
On three levels with large window fronts, you will experience living comfort, leisure fun and mountain scenery. The Krähennest is just as suitable for relaxing and dreaming as it is as a starting point for sports, discovery tours, winter activities and romantic experiences.
The roof-only house on a slope with a converted basement is characterised by its spaciousness and the typical lookout position with an unobstructed mountain view. The good equipment is also remarkable.
120 square metres offer plenty of room to move
On the ground floor you will find the rustic living room with a well-equipped kitchenette. Flat-screen TV and a small stereo system are available. The large balcony with chairs and awning invites you to drink coffee and sunbathe outdoors. A guest library contains material for bookworms, not least descriptions of the region. Games are not to be missed.
The master bedroom with double bed is opposite the elegantly designed main bathroom.
On the 1st floor, two bedrooms with two single beds each await guests. The larger one is well suited as a playroom; the smaller one with balcony and second TV is popular because of its great view ("mountains from the bed"). The distinctive sloping roof under the ridge creates a romantic cosiness and a sense of adventure for children.
The family sauna is located in the basement. If you want, you can have a sauna here, and next to the sauna you can use the second shower room - a blessing for larger families. Here you will also find the washing machine.
A table tennis table with equipment guarantees exercise at all times, but especially on less friendly days.
The gravel terrace with chairs in front of the house allows barbecuing with the charcoal grill. You can play on the lawn around the house (badminton rackets available)
You will find a parking space just opposite the front door.
You will want to plan many activities. The region offers a wealth of destinations worth seeing. Scenic highlights characterise the surroundings. Swimming, sports, museums, historical sites and unusual experiences are all on offer. You will find a collection of excursion ideas in the house. For example, who doesn't know the sports reports from Ruhpolding, Inzell or from the Winklmoosalm?
The region takes its name from the enchanting Chiemsee.
If you prefer city tours, you should definitely visit Salzburg; but Traunstein, Berchtesgaden, Bad Reichenhall are also worth a visit.
House-trained, well-behaved dogs are allowed in the Krähennest.
And what do you think about making the Krähennest your weekend domicile once or again - like the second home users in your neighbourhood? A season-independent flat rate applies for weekends.
For guests who remember the Vorauf system from the past, the newly introduced waiver of reading the electricity meter on departure should be particularly pleasant. There are no more unpleasant surprises. The rental price stated in the guest accommodation contract is a real final price. - So even the use of the in-house sauna or turning up the night storage/convectors for really cosy warmth does not immediately become a "matter of conscience".

From the crow's nest you can admire the mountain panorama opposite, which is beautiful in every season. Change of scenery is the order of the day via a good road network in all directions. Several lifts in the vicinity also make a bird's eye view possible.
Cultural highlights can be experienced through the "treasures" offered by the surrounding communities (museums, guided tours, events), not least in the fascinating city of Salzburg (30km), which you can reach in no time via the motorway.
There is no question that the region's sports and winter sports areas are special focal points. Skiers (also "dwarfs", even beginners) are just as well catered for as passionate hikers, experienced cyclists or simply those who enjoy the mountain panoramas.
Siegsdorf, the main municipality, is a climatic health resort and is characterised by its traditional Bavarian charm. For tourists, the town offers a railway station and direct access to the motorway, as well as gastronomic delights, an interesting mammoth museum and proximity to all kinds of sports and excursion destinations.
Fascinating nature experiences are among the main attractions of the region. However, guests will also want to visit the many attractively decorated tourist resorts in the surrounding area or head for the charming cultural milieu of towns such as Salzburg, Bad Reichenhall and Berchtesgaden.

| The seasonal weekly price includes all important additional costs, including electric heating. The use of the in-house sauna does not cost extra either. There is only a one-time surcharge of 15 euros per pet for dogs brought along. Please note that if there is free capacity (not in the summer holidays, not at Christmas/New Year), you can book WEEKEND for a flat rate of 350 euros, in deviation from the minimum occupancy requirement. The municipality charges a visitor's tax. Please be sure to pay this at the Siegdorf Tourist Office against receipt of the spa card, which is good for admission and bus travel. Information on the (comparatively modest) amount can be found at the house. |

The house is beautifully situated. Everything you need is there. The only mango are the beds or the mattresses in the basement, they are very thin and uncomfortable.

We were very satisfied.
The house is located quietly in a holiday resort, everything that is needed in a house is available. The location in Siegsdorf is very good, you don't have to drive far to experience something. We can't say anything negative and gladly recommend the Krähennest.
