Holiday at the beautiful Baltic Sea - who doesn't dream of it once
On the Bay of Kiel, in the popular holiday centre Holm/Schönberg, you will find my lovingly furnished holiday flat with balcony, which offers my guests a wonderful view of the countryside. Here you can relax from the stress of everyday life and spend cosy hours with family or friends.
The holiday flat "Sonnen-Oase" is located on the 2nd floor of the 7-storey house "Eckernförde", directly opposite the Baltic Sea Clinic Holm, and is also easily accessible by bus.
The sea and the fine sandy beach are about 15 minutes' walk (1.2 km) from the holiday home.
It is suitable for a family holiday or even a short trip over the weekend.
Children and dogs are welcome!
Facilities:
The well-equipped kitchenette offers my guests comfort through the use of various appliances and leaves nothing to be desired for breakfast, lunch and dinner together with the whole family.
You prefer to go out for dinner? - then I can recommend various restaurants in the immediate vicinity of your holiday flat!
In the combined living room and bedroom there is a very cosy double bed (mattress size 1.6 x 2.0 m). The comfortable and innovative sofa set can be converted into a double bed (1.75 x 2.0 m) in a few easy steps. At the cosy dining area with 4 chairs you can take your meals and pass the time with games.
My holiday flat also has a large TV and a stereo system that provide good entertainment for young and old.
The contents of your suitcases can be stored in a very spacious cupboard. For the duration of your stay, I offer you a safe in my holiday flat where you can safely deposit your valuables.
The bathroom is equipped with a shower, WC, washbasin and hairdryer.
On the furnished loggia you can enjoy the sun from midday, gladly with a cool drink or a delicious piece of meat from the table grill.
The area is quiet and offers a lot of beautiful nature. Look forward to relaxing hours in Holm!
Occupancy:
The maximum occupancy of my holiday flat is 4 people, optimal are 2 adults and 2 children.
Holiday with your four-legged friend at the Baltic Sea:
I charge Euro 5.00 per pet and night, but a maximum of Euro 30.00.
Seasonal prices for the flat "Sonnen-Oase" can be found in the directory.
The 1st overnight stay (ÜN) includes the final cleaning of EUR 35,00.
Water, electricity and heating costs are included.
My lovingly furnished flat is accessible by lift for senior citizens and disabled persons.

The municipality of Schönberg levies a spa tax, which is payable in cash on site.
For all overnight guests over 18 years of age, the following prices apply for the Ostsee Card:
Euro 1.10 per day from 15 March to 30 April
Euro 2,50 per day from 1 May to 30 September
Euro 1.10 per day from 1 October to 31 October
The Ostsee Card allows you to use the bus line 200 to Schönberg Ortsmitte and to Schönberger Strand free of charge.
An excursion to Laboe is also included, as well as many discounts for children and adults for leisure activities.

Arrival is possible at any time, but Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are preferred.
As a rule, the handover takes place personally on site.
I attach great importance to cleanliness. My guests should feel comfortable in my holiday flat and spend a relaxing holiday. A cosy atmosphere and attractive decoration are important to me.
For the reception, a small surprise is ready for my small, big and animal guests.
Please observe the house rules and waste separation!
I expect you to treat my inventory with care. Should something get broken, please inform me accordingly.
The disposal of household waste at departure is a matter of course.
Smoking in the flat is expressly not permitted!

Location and surroundings of object
On Holm's market square, which is very close by, you will find a number of small shops such as a snack bar/restaurant, bakery "KaffeePott", hairdresser, arts and crafts, fashion shop, fan corner, adventure mini golf in the palm garden etc. A laundry centre is also available for your use at any time. From spring to autumn, tourism comes alive with flea markets, music events, discos and children's festivals.
There is also a small grocery shop, bicycle/kettcar rental, boat rental, ice cream parlour, other cafés and restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
The sea and the fine sandy beach are about 15 minutes' walk (1.2 km) from the holiday home. Whether you reach it on foot or by bike - breathe in the good sea air and enjoy nature in the beautiful Probstei, the very popular holiday destination.
Once you have discovered the high-rise building of Holm, the beach is also not far away.
For the spa tax you have to pay, the municipality offers clean water and a shallow beach with few stones. Ideal for children who want to splash around in the shallow Baltic Sea water and play in the fine sand to their heart's content.
Holm is a district of the municipality of Ostseebad Schönberg and is located about 3 km from Schönberg. The village of Schönberg is easily accessible by bus, bicycle or car and offers various shopping facilities such as Rewe, Edeka, Aldi, Lidl, Penny, Kaufhaus Stolz, Takko, etc. with customer-friendly opening hours - even at weekends.
Schönberg includes not only the central town, but also the districts of Neu-Schönberg, Schönberger Strand and Holm, as well as the "dream destinations" of California and Brazil.
In the immediate vicinity is the idyllic village of Barsbek, but also communities such as Laboe, Heikendorf, Lutterbek and Heidkate offer tourists plenty of variety and recreational fun for young and old.
Bus connections:
1. Line 200/201 - Kiel - Schönberg, California, Schönberger Strand.
2. Line 120 - Schönberg / Laboe.
Further public transport connections (train, bus, boat) in the Kiel region can be found at Verkehrsverbund Region Kiel.
Schönberg in Holstein is located about 20 km northeast of the state capital Kiel and is the most important tourist community in the district of Plön.
The phrase "Work and live where others go on holiday" is definitely more than just an advertising slogan here.
Schönberg offers many interesting leisure activities in the immediate vicinity of the holiday flat. If you just want to enjoy nature and tranquillity, you are in good hands here.

If you are interested in culture, you will not miss out in this region. It is no coincidence that connoisseurs call the Baltic seaside resort the cultural stronghold of the Plön district.
There is also a campsite nearby, equipped with a small snack bar, a restaurant, a small supermarket for the daily necessities and a miniature golf course.
A healthy alternative: the bicycle
Schönberg lies directly on the Baltic Sea Coastal Cycle Route, which runs from Flensburg on the Danish border to Ahlbeck (on Usedom). At the Tourist Service Ostseebad Schönberg you can get information and maps such as the Probstei cycling and holiday map.

I have been working as a bank clerk at a Kiel credit institution for over 40 years.
In my free time I like to go for walks with my two dogs or go cycling.
At weekends I am usually in Holm/Schönberg to recover from the stress of everyday life and enjoy the beautiful Probstei.
Renting out my holiday flat gives me a lot of pleasure. One day, when I go into well-earned retirement, I will be able to devote myself to this hobby even more intensively.
Schönberg offers tourists many attractions. There are also plenty of leisure activities for young and old.
If you are looking for recreation, you are in the right place here. Walking or cycling in the beautiful Probstei is fun. Or simply relax on the beach.
If you want to experience something, you can go to the discotheque on Holm's market square, meet friends for a barbecue or enjoy other events such as the sea bridge festival.
The Probstei welcomes you as a popular holiday resort!

Short break in a cozy vacation apartment
We spent the Easter holidays in this cozy and fully equipped holiday apartment.
Despite the fact that we could only arrive in the evening, the key handover went smoothly. Thank you for this consideration.
The apartment is equipped with everything you need and is very cozy. The bathroom is also great, more space than in some larger vacation rentals.
Our dog also felt very comfortable and was happy about the provided treats.
We will definitely come back.

Well rested - cozy home for a while
We spent a short week there.
We needed relaxation and found it there.
The communication was warm, helpful, and timely.
In the apartment, you find everything you need. From games to household appliances to the picnic blanket.
Everything feels lovingly furnished.
The house is large, but it was still wonderfully quiet.
On the balcony, you can end the day well with a view of the greenery.
A cozy base to explore the area. Since we were there with a dog and the small walkable "dog beaches" were too crowded, we drove to Heidkate where everything is a bit more spread out at least at three jetties.
Price-performance top.
So all in all a great vacation.
We would definitely come back.

in 2021 we stayed for the first time in Mrs Ortmann's holiday flat to spend our holiday. The reason why we chose it was especially the cordiality and sympathy that we already felt when reading the advertisement of Mrs Ortmann. On site, the picture was confirmed. The flat is clean, the family very friendly and there is a small welcome (also for our 4-legged friends ;-)). A parking space also belongs to this flat.
The holiday was wonderful, so we decided to come again this year (this time for 2 weeks). :-) The surroundings are really wonderful, the whole house is very clean, there is a lot of green around and there are so many things you can do nearby (cycling, walking, sunbathing on the beach, horse riding, surfing etc.)
Mrs Ortmann has put a lot of heart into this flat and has put a lot of thought into it. Everything you need is there, even if the weather is not so good, so it is also good to visit in the autumn and winter months
